Hmm, what to say about this book besides that it's amazing. Just like all the other Dragon Guard books by Julia Mills. I absolutely love this book and the entire season (Devon is still mine btw).
Aaron is the last single dragon of the Dragon Guards. He would always laugh when one of his brethern found their mate, he would tease and say he would always be a bachelor. Well, the guys get their pay back in this book and everything he said to them, to make fun of them, has come back to bite him in the butt.
"Let me make one thing perfectly clear. I want nothing ore than to make love to you. I want it more than I want my next breath. More than I want to feel the sunshine on my skin. More than I want to wake to another day..." She went to interrupt but his fingers magically appeared against her lips, effectively silencing her words. The grin left his face. "I have wanted you from the moment I met you but I promised myself when we were finally together, I would savor every moment. That it would last for days upon days."
Ok, I really need a dragon of my own!
Charlie, or Dr. Charlene, is a doctor and is Sam's best friend. In previous book, she saw Anya turn into her dragon for the first time. She freaked. Who wouldn't freak seeing a dragon!!! I know I would. She ran and went days without even talking to her best friend. Charlie is just likes the other women that are mates, she is a strong, independent, beautiful woman that can bring her "dragon man" to his knees with just one look. I love Charlie's personality. She is such a fun character to read. She is going to keep Aaron in line, and on his toes, but he will do the same for her, I'm sure!
"That man is gonna be the death of me...but what a way to go!"
"Well, hell, I'm your mate aren't I?" Not exactly the sentiment I'd hoped for..."
But there is just something about Charlie. She catches on fast and accepts the dragons. But why is the mind talking working so well before they're actually mated? I'm not telling you, you will just have to read to find out because, wow, just wow. I wasn't expecting it at all.
Andrew is still out there. He's injured and hiding. They know where he is, it's just a matter of getting him. More of his story comes out. I think I know who the girl is that he remembers crying, before all of this began. I hope I'm right.
Calysta is still missing, Kyra and Royce have still been looking for her and following leads. I hope they find her soon.

Aaron and Charlene's book
The last of the bachelors on the team Aaron knows who his mate is. And although he has tried to stay away the need to be closer is overwhelming him. Charlene finally knows the secret now thanks to her friend Sam and although she is hurt she understands.

Crazy brother Andrew is still in full swing and although he is injured he is determined to take out his brothers and their brethrens.
After Charlie and Aaron have a night of passion he delves into her mind while she is having a bad sleep and realizes something that is almost unheard of and he is so suprised but needs the help of the elders for what he has found out about his mate.
Charlie will be surprised by what is found out about her past. Although she has wonderful adoptive parents.
And will Andrew finally get what is coming to him?
Well your in for a BIG SHOCKING Cliffhanger.
I love how the author brings all the characters from the previous books into each story so we get a bit of every single character we have grown to love. This book is super sexy and HOT. Very well written and Aaron and Charlie finding each other was amazing to learn.
I was so happy to read and review this book. I love the entire series thus far and this book is just as the others a fantastic read.

Aaron may be a beast but that boy sure is considerate, "our first time will not be a quickie and I will not leave you when it's over." Everyone knows I like my men bossy, and alpha and I loved the scenes where Aaron's dragon would come through, "his dragon growled, puffing smoke and pushing the man to ease their mate's discomfort." I really wish there were more scenes of his dragon becoming dominant. Sometimes it's good to have brothers who are already mated it means you can learn from their past mistakes and take their advice even if it's not warranted, "he continued to eavesdrop, hoping to catch one of the stories when a dinner roll hit him in the face. "Snap out of it, Romeo. She's fine and you don't need to be eavesdropping. That s*** will get you sleeping in the doghouse faster than anything else," Aidan said." Overall I liked this book the only thing I would have liked to see more of was more dominance in the men. I mean they are dominant but I wanted more alpha and more of their dragons to come through.

This is the sixth book in The Dragon Guard Series. Julia Mills has really done a fantastic job of keeping her females strong and her men sexy. Reading about a confirmed bachelor like Aaron crumbling at the sight of Dr. Charlene Galleghar is enough to make you smile. Aaron is trying to convince her that she is his mate . She is in denial that dragons exist even though she has seen Anya shift on her wedding day. She feels betrayed that her best friend Sam lied to her, even if it was by omission. Aaron is getting ribbed constantly by the other guardsmen. And of course the traitor, who happens to be Aaron’s younger brother, is still at large and needs to be brought in. Through all of this Ms. Mills keeps you wanting to read more and more. Again there are some steamy sex scenes and many laughs. There are a few surprises too and some hint to her next book. I love Julia’s sense of humor and her writing style. This book is her best so far.

I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED this book. The couple is incredible, the dialogue straightforward. No games in this one. Complete openness and honesty for these two.
There are plenty of surprises, and of course the traitor is still around. I know you are just gonna fall in love with these guys as much as I did.
Ms Julia has done a wonderful job here. Go get it and read it. You won't be sorry.

Aaron has always been my favorite of the twins. He's always been the twin I wouldn't mind hanging out with (wink wink) and Charlotte is the perfect FAIRY for him!

Another great read by Julia Mills. With plenty of twists and turns, and one heck of a surprise that awaits your reading pleasure in this story.
The hunt continues for the traitor, Andrew, in this story. And Aaron must convince Dr. Charlene Gallagher that what she has witnessed is real. But Charlene has her own surprise in store for him.
This is a well written story, and I can not wait to see how Julia tops this one. I highly recommend this story to all paranormal fans.

I received this book from WLK Book Promotions in return for a fair and honest review.
The last bachelor has finally met his match in Charlie, Sam's best friend. They met at the end of Devon's book and this story pretty much starts from there. There are wrinkles to smooth out, you know, like the appearance of dragons and other such 'stuff' but although Charlie has her meltdown, once she starts processing, she deals with it quite well.
Aaron, although he knows that he is in for a rip-roaring time from the other brethren, can also learn from their mistakes and take their advice so I personally thought he got off easy, considering!
This book is very well written with a lot of LOL moments - "Aaron, get your dragon ass in here, I'm a freakin' fairy!" It is also gentler than some of the previous ones as Andrew is in hiding and not capturing or torturing any of the mates.
There is a surprise at the end as well but I'll say no more about that. All I will say is that I'm looking forward to the next book in the series already.

wOOHOO Julia did it again, if I could give this 6 Stars I would. This was an awesome book and a wonderful continuation of the Dragon guard saga. There is lots of exciting new discoveries to be made in tis story and revelations of the past that I'm sure is all just clues to the final glorious end. In this book you discover new secrets about Charlie. Whom we all thought was just another doctor at the hospital.. but Oh we are ever so wrong.. but I'm not gonna spill the beans here.. you have to read the book to find out what her secret is. Its So secret... she doesn't even know. Then you have Aaron.... Who ever thought a dragon would be shy!! and Not know what to say to his one, his only... Will he ever grow a back bone and just come right out and say .. I want you, I need you...be mine forever... hmm... only one way to find out. Buy the book and read it... and if you haven't read all the ret of the series.. Go get them!!!

This amazing and oh so WOW story is about Aaron and Charlie how Fate Will Not Be Denied. I love when they find out what Charlie really is it is so awesome to and how strong she is about everything. The way all the Dragon Guards and their friends hunt for the traitor brother who hurt so many. Only For Her Dragon
This series is awesome. It's a good thing it's the weekend since it's after 3 a.m. and I just now finished reading Aaron's and Charlie's (Charlene's) story. Each one of the fated mates bring their own unique gifts to their mates. This was no different. I loved reading this book and can't wait to read the rest of this series.

This is a paranormal romance with a touch of mystery. The sixth book in The Dragon Guard Series, could be read as a stand alone but I advise you to read the other books first to understand the complete story, you will not be disappointed. I recommend this book for adults only, there is some hot scenes in this book. I really enjoyed this book, even though it is linked to the other books it has it own story. Sometimes love at first sight is hard to believe, but when love comes in the form of a hunky dragon, who couldn't accept that?
Aaron is the last bachelor of the Dragon Guards. He is always the one who teases the others about finding their mates and being love sick. He never wanted a mate, his only desire is to find the traitor and restore order to their clan. But fate steps in when he least expects it. But he is determined and willing to fight fate and tries to stay away from her, but Dr. Charlene Gallagher is not one to easily forget. One point for fate... zero for dragon man. Slowly Aaron tries to win Charlie's heart, little does he know she has a secret that he alone can help her discover.
Dr. Charlene Gallagher also known as Charlie, was in shock when she sees a dragon. But to her surprise she has accepted everything calmly, too calmly, still with her list in hand she has several questions. Now if she could deal with this dragon man whom invades her every thought she would be ok. Maybe she was more interested in him than she was letting on, no way, right? Well maybe just a little bit...

Wow! So Drago-licious! I am so in love with this series! Only For Her Dragon is the sixth book of the amazing Dragon Guard Series by Julia Mills and each book just gets better and more exciting! Mills has done a fabulous job of continuing the magical saga of the lives and loves of the sexy Dragon Guard. The story is original, exciting, magical, powerful, compelling, thrilling, riveting, endearing, heartwarming, romantic, sensual and arousing. A wonderful and varied cast of characters that are well developed, engaging, fascinating, intriguing and sexy. The dialog is smart, sassy, well written and flows beautifully. And I personally, loved the "mind speak" between the characters which took me even deeper into their hearts and souls. I became more personally vested in each character as the book progressed and the characters became my friends. And the romance and love scenes were simply exquisite! Sigh.......So dreamy! Every time I read a book from this series, it always feels like I'm coming home. Handsome silver dragon, Aaron O'Brien is and will always be a confirmed bachelor. Nope - none of this mate foolishness for him! All the men from his guard unit have now found their mates including his twin but he's happy being single or so he thought! Dr Charlene Gallagher blew that all to hell when she waltzed into his life. Now he understood exactly how his brethren felt! He needed Charlie more than his next breath! Lovely Dr Charlene Gallagher is an independent, modern day woman who not only takes care of her patients but is pretty darn good at looking after herself as well. This book has an HEA, but the story is really the sixth installment of a much larger issue the Dragon Guard is fighting. There are a lot of characters and backstory that may be confusing if a reader is not familiar with the previous books.
>Aaron is the confirmed bachelor of the Dragon Guard. As he has watched his brethren find their mates, he is the merciless tease of the group, always insisting he will never mate. He actually meets Charlie in a previous book and kisses her, opening up his mate instinct to her. This story opens up after Charlie accidentally follows Aaron and sees a real dragon, something the Dragon Guard try to keep hidden from humans. Charlie is a nurse along with Sam, who is already mated into the Dragon Guard, but sworn to secrecy, until now. The cat is out of the bag, so Sam tells all to Charlie and Aaron claims her as mate.
>All the previous dragons, mates, were Panthers and witches are in this story. The main theme holding all of these books together is the Dragon Guard trying to capture a rogue dragon, Andrew, brother to Aaron. I've read 3 of the previous books and know how horrible Andrew is. This book doesn't give much of a back story on him and kinda makes Aaron seem a bit heartless in trying to capture and harm Andrew.
>I love the alpha dragon males in this series and Aaron didn't disappoint. It was so funny to see the bantering he had to take from everyone over his mate! What this story lacked was any danger to Charlie. There was no reason for Aaron to go all caveman and I missed that. The end of the story threw a monkey wrench into the whole 6 story plot and really has me anticipating where in the world the story is going to go next.
>This book is appropriate to be read by an adult (18+) audience due to descriptive sex. It wasn't the strongest story of the series, but an enjoyable read.

Only for Her Dragon is book six in the Dragon Guards series by Julia Mills. I enjoyed this book with its twists and turns, and one heck of a surprise.
What can I say only that we get some big surprises throughout the book. The story does wrap up and wow, just wow what an ending. The author focus on our leads Aaron and Charlie, so the plot takes secondary to them. I like that our couple have a little bit of a history and Charlie is so very open minded and takes everything in stride. She has an inner fire and strength that I like to see in a heroine. I loved that we learned about her heritage (Surprise!) Aaron well I’ve been waiting for him to fall since the first book. He has given each of his brethren a hard time when they found their mates. It was great to see his friends do the same to him. I like that the mating was different from previous installments and well I have enjoyed the weddings. Each are unique to the dragon and his mate. Only thing I really would have liked and hopeful the author will tell us some day is what makes Sydney the child so special?
Another fun insta-love read in the Dragon Guards series. If you enjoy dragons then I recommend giving this series a try. I look forward to return to this world!

This 6th installment is Aaron & Charlene's story. And what a story it is! Dr. Charlene Gallagher is about to go through some things she can't explain and see some things she that seem unexplainable, because, together, Charlie & Aaron are a fulfillment of a Promise made by the Fairy Princess Ailsa which of course was not known til now as Charlie was adopted by a nurse and her detective husband, which is one of the sweetest stories I've ever read. ....So, in the mist of all this going on, which I won't say anymore about, The search for Kyra's Mother, Calysta goes on and they prepare to once again go after Andrew. Eight Dragons, Six Werepanthers and one very powerful White Witch are determined to bring him in to stand trial in front of the tribunal and die a traitor's death....But try as she might, the light in her mirror just flashed blue, red then black. Over & over, faster & faster til it was just a blur then...nothing....like a switch was flipped......Then hunters came, and a lot of them...... They were no match for the Dragons, but by then there was no trace of Andrew......But he is in a bad way himself, he is still badly wounded. His magic is not healing him.....and right here at the end of this installment there is the twist you know is coming, because that's just the Dragon Lady's thing.....But, I swear, I never saw this coming at all!
This is one of the most exciting installments to date and I urge you to read these in order so as not to miss one morsel of goodness....

Wow! This is one of my favourite series and this instalment does not disappoint.
Aaron found his mate at the end of 'Saved By Her Dragon' but being human, Charlie has never seen a dragon before and so does what comes naturally to her and she runs. Charlie is a woman of medicine and science so taking a step into the world of Dragonshifters requires a major shift in her thinking. But the Universe is never wrong and there is something actually quite magical about her. Charlie makes Aaron work hard for her trust and is inquisitive and his life as a Dragonshifter. Aaron demonstrates a patience and a protectiveness that he teased his brethren about when they found their mates. Their bond is strong and sweet. But with Andrew out there still determined to wipe them out, their happiness could still be short lived if he gets his way.
If you have not yet discovered this series, where have you been? This series has been fantastic to read with each couple being different from the next. They are couples that will each take a special place in your heart and Charlie and Aaron's story is no different.

Neither Charlie or Aaron were looking for a forever relationship, but the fates knew the two were meant to be. Now if only they would both get on board with it.
Finding out about Dragons came as a shock to Charlie, so much so she ran off to a cabin in the woods. But she couldn't hide forever and Aaron isn't really all that patient.
Aaron is eating crow, after telling everyone how he'd be the eternal bachelor he falls hard for the good doctor. He's cocky and confident even if he didn't think he wanted mate now that he has one he knows the fates knew what they were doing and has become the sappy mush he teased the others of being.
Charlie lives her life in facts and logic, but when faced with the things science can't explain can she learn to just acept some things as they are? She is smart and cares for everyone, it's the reason she became a doctor.
As we see Charlie and and Aaron learning about each other we also see the rest of the team as they continue looking for Andrew. And as always when it comes to the mated couple there are a few surprises in store!

Taking time to be alone, to sort out what she knows she saw. Finally she contacts her best friend Sam to get answers to questions, only Sam and her new family can answer.
Charlie feels the attraction and pull towards Aaron. She can't keep him out of her thoughts. Aaron comes to her and gives her the answers to all her questions. Their love is true and as they become mated, their new life begins with Aaron and the rest of the Guardsmen still on the hunt for the traitor, Andrew, Aaron and Aiden's brother.

I have been enjoying this series. Aaron is the last of the guards to get his mate. He's only minutes older than his twin, Aiden, but to hear him tell it, he's the ultimate big brother! LOL! I liked the relationship between him and Charlie. Like the other mates, she's a bit feisty. Of course, I wanted to smack her for running off in a huff and shutting everyone out because they didn't reveal their "secrets" to her. Glad she finally came around. Most of this story did focus quite a lot on the traitor, Andrew, and I would have preferred a lot more interaction between Aaron and Charlie. Like Anya in the story before this, there was also a strange surprise regarding Charlene's true heritage. Other than that, this story is intertwined with prophecies and revelations regarding the brother who seeks revenge, and still (ugh) trying to figure out little Syndey's gifts.

In proper form, Julia Mills did not disappoint with this one. I felt like a total cheating scumbag for falling in love with yet another of the guard. Aaron is smooth, sexy and has just the right does of cockiness to bring you to your knees.
Charlie is a smart doctor who has decided that she must be losing her mind, dragons do not exist and she is not going to be getting involved with this arrogant man who has invaded her brain. Charlie is full of secrets that she does not even know about.
The story leading up to Charlie's big reveal was very well written, you get hints along the way that something is amiss but what she is ends up completely shocking the reader, as much as it does Charlie. The banter between characters is always a blast and makes me giggle. Easy 5 fangs for this one!

Another great installment to the Dragon Guard series! Only for Her Dragon was well written and a fast, but enjoyable read.
I really love the romance in this book combined with all the different paranormal elements. The dragon mythology becomes stronger with every book in the series and I really enjoy that aspect as well! The characters have great chemistry as always and the always lovable banter between the guys is hilarious.
There was a lot less action in this book, I felt, which is why I gave it four stars instead of five. However, I think the ending really sets up for the next book in the series and I'm very excited to see what the author does with Andrew!

Awesome book!
I absolutely loved this book! I love this series! Mills' writing just get better as the books go on. I want criticism is it this one seemed as if the romance was a bit rushed. It's not a concept that I'm not used to because the couples are fated and usually are pretty hot for each other. But it was a bit too fast. That didn't make me like it less it just made it harder to "feel" what they're feeling. Like I like to want to do when I disappear into a good book. However, it did carry-on the overall arc of the series and I cannot wait to get to the next book to see what happens!

Another great book from Julia Mills in her Dragon Guard Series! I have had a soft spot for Aaron from the beginning and I absolutely love Charlie!!
Aaron and Charlie's story is full of so twists, turns and love. Andrew is still on the loose and planning the demise of the Dragon Guard. Charlie sees what she believes is a myth and runs. Aaron must not only hunt down his brother but convince Charlie she is his and what she saw is real. Sydney continues to surprise in her wisdom.
I love this book and can't wait for the next book!!

WOW!!!! I am flabbergasted!!!! Totally flummoxed!!!! I just don’t know what to think, except that I CAN’T wait for the next book in this series!!!!

Absolutely love this book! Strong minded beautiful magical woman, meets her match in a hunky wise ass dragon man! You cant go wrong with Julia's magical story telling...it drags you into their world and makes you want to be a part of their huge loveable family! I love how they are all mentioned in every story and how they all flow together amazingly...Julia is truly a gifted author! Cant wait for the next installment!

Awesome Series
Loved this story; you could feel their pain, sorrow, pleasure, happiness, and you just want more. Like what is going to happen next and you just want to finish the book. It has enough action, hot scenes, and romance to keep your attention that you don't t want to stop reading. The entire series is just awesome and hope to read more about the rest of the characters.
