This book moved me through integrating my life from the last year until now in so many ways. Can’t count how many times I nodded YUP, I’ll likely reread it often. One part that struck me was pg 18 “Hope can be the most painful form of attachment.”

I’m of the mind that the pain we go through in life, our trials, pushes us toward having more hope, it’s easily reframed for a purpose. Imagine this attitude about working out a physical muscle, the same applies for the heart emotionally and our minds. Overwhelm hits inevitably, but learning to breathe and move through it without blocking out the world, staying rooted in that hope and encouragement while having worth enough to draw the line when necessary—

That’s the biggest lesson from reading this. I’m worthy of so much, and not getting back to people right away, not telling everyone everything. I’m coming home again.
