Happily married for 32 years and counting, we survived over a half century in the frozen tundra of western Canada before finding our Valhalla on Vancouver Island. I split my time between playing golf (I am a 19th hole specialist), checking out local restaurants for the quality of their martinis, or raging at the state of the world.
I have a few basic principles that guide my life: firstly, happiness is a choice. Secondly, time is the most valuable commodity there is, so spend it wisely. And lastly, exercise is overrated.

New Author in the world of Erotica with a creative touch for writing..."The One" is a very well written book! Love the characters Candice and Damon. I don't won't to give to much away since this is the Author's first release. The storyline does what it's supposed to takes you into their world and leaves you excited and wanting more! It's a bit shorter than some but keeps your mind connected from beginning to end. You won't be disappointed. Thank you and I look forward to more of your work.

Exciting storyline, sexy, and fun book. I loved the characters and their chemistry. I found myself unable to step away until I finished. Would love to read a continuation of their story. Spectacular debut by Mr Lioncourt. I would definitely recommend this book!

A short read leaving me wanting MORE !!
From the very first page I didn't want to put this book down. Needing to know more.

Vlad Lioncourt will certainly keep you up at night thinking about all of the angles this story takes and daydreaming about things maybe you should't...I hesitate to read novellas because I tend to like books I can sink my teeth into but this book delivers. He opens and builds his characters solidly enough. The story winds around your heart and sucks you in leaving your feet hanging out of the book and your heart thudding in your ears. Some novels are like a snack. They will keep you happy for an hour but have no real sustaining power or nourishment. Whereas a meal, or in this case, a good book, will keep your mind going for hours, days weeks and even months after you read it. You ask questions and imagine other scenarios. One thought leads to another and before you know it, you are sucked into the world the book created.
This book is a short novella but satisfies on all counts. The characters are well written and it leaves you wanting more about where their relationship goes. The end is exciting and leaves you cracking up. It's a great place to end, but Mr. Lioncourt leaves you wanting more. He ends the book in a way where it can go either way...continue later or makes a satisfying end.
This is a great book to read before bed. It takes about an hour or two to read and is much fun. I have thought about this book so much since reading it. I think any good author at least provokes thought. This book will delight most readers who enjoy a BDSM theme. I am a fan of discouraging safewords or calls to police for any reason if at all possible in stories...and this book delivers on that point too. I as a reader do not like to be babied. I appreciate this author's refusal to do so and write raw and exciting scenes. This is a must read. I am giving this book five stars for writing style, character development and plot.

This story was not long enough... it left me wanting MORE! It's sexy and has a great storyline. I can't wait to see what is in store for Candice next. A def MUST read!!
