Rereading.
Another great addition to this series. Great story. Great writing. It's a little long, but it still reads as a fast read. Safety: There is talk of rape of side characters. Definitely need to read this series in order.

Oh man I can't wait to read more of these characters, I like how there might be so many characters but they in a way they each find their mate. What trace went through was sad especially because it is his father that did it, glad he was able to get rescued by his mate. Jade has her secrets but she is trying to protect those around her but she is safe now so she wants to be able to be her without danger lurking. I liked them together and happy trace got his family back as well.

I LOVE this series... and Trace and Jade's story did not disappoint.
I just love how Dawn manages to weave together all of the character's own stories into the overarching story... it really works - I can't wait to find out what the General is up to!!!
It's the perfect mix of action, shifters, and steam!!

I was fortunate enough to have been gifted this book in exchange for my honest review.
This is the third book in a series of an Elite Team of people with special abilities that are in the "Search and Retrieval" business. They call themselves R.A.R.E. (Rescue and Retrieval Extractions. They consider themselves a Family. They all work together and have each others backs. So when one of their Team is missing they all jump in to go find them. It doesn't matter whats going on as Family comes first.
From the beginning of this book I was on the edge of my seat hanging onto every word. I was so excited when I received this book as I had been waiting to read it since I had finished Pheonix's Fate. I have been hooked on this series from the first book, Nico's Heart, and Trace's Temptation did not disappoint.
This book is about R.A.R.E. member Trace and Jade, Angel's rescued daughter. Trace is a black panther shifter. He is Telepathic and a sniper. Jade was rescued from The General. She comes across as an Omega but is she? She has some secrets that you will learn during the book. I don't want to give too much of the story away or tell any spoilers but this is a kick ass book with a lot of action, hot and steamy love scenes, and bad guys getting what they deserve.
We also find out more about some of the other characters and where the series may be headed.
One of the things that I like most about this series is that the author has written such believable characters that are honest and have integrity. They will not harm an innocent but if you hurt an innocent or one of them than you had better hide because they will be looking for you.
I would highly recommend this book if you are looking for a fantastic read that will keep you on the edge of your seat. One that will have you laughing and maybe crying but most definitely cheering!!!

I have read all of Dawn Sullivan's R.A.R.E books in this series!. Each one is unique but keeps the flow going. With each book you learn more about the R.A.R.E team. The R.A.R.E team are like a family they care and protect each other. With each book you read you feel like you are becoming a part of that family lol . This books main focus is on Trace and Jade. Trace is a member of the R.A.R.E team he is a black panther shifter, telepathic,sexy badass sniper of the team . Jade is is daughter of the leader of the team Angel. Jade is also Trance's destained mate. Trace is happy he has found his mate but he has a mission of his own he must do before he can claim is mate. First he has to kill his Father to protect his mate ,his Mom and his half sister Star. Traces Father is a notorious drug lord and leader of the Colombian drug cartel. Plus an abusive bastard to !. Trace was raised to take over for his Dad but Trace had other ideas. Trace managed to rescue his Mom and sister and kept them hidden from his Dad. Then joins the R.A.R.E team . Now Trace knows the only way him and his family can be happy is if his Dad is dead. Can Trace kill his Dad? .Will he be able to protect his family? There is so much suspense, action and red hot romance in this book!.Each book in this book is an excellent reading experience.

Dawn Sullivan has done it again!!!!! A-MAZING!!! I think this is the best one yet in her RARE series! This book is about a man who is trying to make his life right, for his family, and his mate, Jade. He leaves not too long after he found out about Jade being his mate. His father is an evil man, and needs to be dealt with so that Trace and his family can be safe and free to love. Trace falls into a compromising situation and needs help.
Jade can feel the trouble Trace is in, and to say that this woman surprised me would be an understatement. She defined pulling up her big girl panties and kicking ass. She is just like her mother, and I shouldn't have expected any less from her. It was like... SURPRISE!!!!
Jade connects with Trace and realizes he is in terrible trouble. She feels helpless... until Angel and Jinx show up! Time to kick ass and take names. NO ONE messes with her mate and gets away with it!

Another great addition to the RARE series. Jade and Trace are both strong minded characters that do what ever it takes to protect the ones they love. Their biggest problem is the secrets they keep from one another and the fact that their bond is not complete. This was a well thought out and well written storyline that keeps your attention to the end. The relationships between all the supporting characters in each book add depth and detail to the storyline making you have a larger emotional attachment to each person. Woven seamlessly into our lovers tale is more information concerning Angle and Chase struggle. This new information leads me to believe when they are ready to tell their tale it is going to be something else. This was a great read filled with excitement, drama, secrets, betrayal, angst, love, acceptance and trust. If you have not read her series you need to pick it up and start from book one as you will not want to miss learning about this awesome group and their adventures.

I got this book from Dawn as an ARC and all I have to say is OMG. Dawn has done it again this book picks up where Phoenix's ended. Trace is trying to take care of his dangerous past so he can have a future with his mate Jade. Jade is coming out of her shell now that she is away from the General and the things he has done to her, but she has a lot of things she is hiding about herself. You have to read this book Trace and Jade are so protective of each other and it is hot. So can't wait for more R.A.R.E books to come out love this team.

The passion and adventure in this book will have you on the edge of your seat and second guessing what is going to happen next. I could not put this one down.This book takes you on a journey that will have you screaming, gasping, praying, and wishing you could find love like this. By far the BEST book in this series. I can not wait to see what RARE will do next!

This book was AWESOME!!! I am in love with the RARE characters and this book was just another notch on Mrs. Sullivan's post. She gives the characters such depth and she really gives us a view into their struggles and their accomplishments. Each book gives us more and more of the RARE characters and I cannot wait to read each one and then I am so sad because I have to wait for the next one. If you love a paranormal book that is not restricted to just shifters, then this book and this series is for you. Grab it and get consumed today!!!!

I read this in one sitting and all I have to say is WOW. Dawn Sullivan has done it again. I was pulled into the story and couldn't wait to find out what happened next. Trace and Jade each have their own demons to deal with. For Trace it's his drug lord father. And for Jade it's the General. As Trace goes off to "take care of" his father issues Jade tries to deal with her past and in doing so she finds herself. The action, romance, and over all chemistry between all of the chacaters in the R.A.R.E. novels has for me made this series a hit and I can't wait for the rest of the books to come out.

All of the books in the R.A.R.E. Series are amazing and this is the best one yet! Trace's background is revealed and it almost means the end for him, but for his feisty and determined mate and his "family," his fellow teammates,who race to his rescue. There is so much that is great about this book I can't put it all into words. Author Dawn Sullivan has a gift for writing suspenseful, action packed, very sexy stories that leave you wanting more! If you haven't started the R.A.R.E series, I recommend you get it now!

Dawn has done it yet again! I love this series so much. Trace and Jades story is awesome. The way Dawn writes these characters you can't help but fall in love with each and every one of them. The trust and the closeness of this group shines through yet again. When you read any if the RARE series you are hooked and you fall into the book. I couldn't put this down.
This is a story about teamwork, love and 100% trust in the people you call family. Loved it.

Dawn Sullivan has done it again! This book completely blew me away. Each book in this series just gets better and better and you can't wait for the next one to come out. I love the characters and the storyline in these books. When I read them, I feel like I am a part of them. Thank you so much for writing such wonderful stories that keeps us wanting more.

This is truly amazing.. i am to the point where i want to go through my kindle and smack angel though... or through the computer and smack the author. not sure which would work better lol.. i really hope she figures out who she is and what she needs soon though because angel and i are not friends right now lol.. i totally love jinx.. i loved trace and his mate jade.. i love that we see the others.. and see them falling and finding their loves even through the other couples stories.. this was amazing and wonderfully written and i cannot wait to read the next one

Trace is in a battle to save his mother and sister from his hideous father. However he is captured , tortured and barely hanging to life. His mate whom he has not bonded to yet can feel his pain however. Jade who is Angels’ daughter has special gifts although no one knows of them but her brother Jinx who is her twin.
Jade is dead set on going to save her mate but her mother makes it plain that Trace is one of theirs and they will do this as a team.
While rescuing Trace however they also free and bring back 2 women who are sisters and in very bad shape. Doc Josie to the rescue.
They learn that Trace’s mother and sister are in danger and off they go again. Trace finally will get vengeance against his father but at what price?
Many things take place in this book we learn of another shifter named Raven who was sold to The General by Trace’s dad, Rikki and Storm are at a battle for their own lives and Jinx is more help to the team and his mother than ever before.
Can the team rescue all? And what will Angel do when she finds out some disturbing news?
We are left with a cliff hanger and I truly hate those so I sure hope the author gets the next one out soon. Great book I totally loved every single page. If you love shifter books, with a bit of danger , action and romance then please pickup the first book in this series and get reading.

When Jade finds out Trace is in trouble and need help. will Jade stop hiding and help rescue Trace? Can Trace make it until help arrives? Will they finally be able to claim each other? I've spent the weekend book binging this series. I now have a tremendous book hangover. Once again, there was plenty of action & romance. No need to get bored with one couple. While the main couple is Trace and Jade, you still get to know what is going on with other couples. We are even introduced to a new one. Can't wait for the next book.

Trace turns up in trouble, while trying to protect his mother and sister. Captured, chained, beaten and tortured, Trace needs to hang on until R.A.R.E. and his mate, his Jade, can find and rescue him. Poor Jade has been hiding who she really is, afraid that if she shows her true self and what she can do, then the General will hunt her down once again. However, with the life of her mate at stake, nothing and no one is going to stop her! I loved this book... I love this series.. It's so easy to get lost in the story and to feel as if you know and care for the well being of the characters...Personally I love the series so much that I buy them both in ebook and paperback! Enjoy!

A paranormal/shifter series that is suspenseful, action packed and full of twists. Will have your attention from the start. Trace and Jade are two tortured souls who have endured their own personal hell. They are mates, belong together and have to overcome more pain before they can "ride off in the sunset". OMG!! Angel grates at my nerves. Jesus I keep wanting to bi**h slap her. At times she's so selfish and such a harda**. My heart goes out to Chase and how he has to deal with it. Would recommend reading this series. Can't wait for more.

Sullivan sets a fast pace from beginning to end, the Ugly General is still causing chaos and RARE is kicking shifter behind and taking names. We are given more information about Jade and Jinx. This is a good series. It's fast moving, intense at times, sexy, and cohesive in a minimalist way. I love the writing, although it may not be for everybody. The storylines are great, and the characters are relatable and strong while also being vulnerable. I highly recommend this read, with the caveat that you really need to read the series in order.

I love that while this is Trace and Jade's story, you still get to see insight into all of the characters from RARE. While you do not have to read the other books to understand this story, it helps to build the connection of all the amazing characters.
