I never planned to come back to Winter Crest. Not after the night my scent broke loose in a locker room full of Alpha boys, and two of my closest friends turned on each other in a way I still have nightmares about.
For 12 years, I stayed gone. Suppressed. Silent. Safe.
But now I’m here for my dream job as an NIHL photographer… and the moment I step into the arena, everything inside me goes wrong.
My suppressants fail. My scent leaks. And the only two Alphas who don’t go violent are the ones I swore I’d never face again.
Luca Vale—cold, lethal, captain of the Frost Kings. He was the boy who used to protect me… before he became the man who looks at me like he wants to own every breath I take.
Jaxon Roarke—reckless, magnetic, captain of the Steel Wolves. He was the boy who would’ve burned the world for me… before he became the man who would tear it apart if I walked away again.
Now they both scent-lock on me. Both claim they’re the only ones who can keep me safe. Both feel the same impossible pull I do.
Because my biology hides a I’m a rare dual-bond Omega, designed for two Alphas. And the bond they triggered as kids never died.
It only went dormant.
Until now.
Now the rivalry between them borders on feral. Now my heat is coming—dangerous, unstable, unstoppable. Now I’m trapped between two enemies who would bleed for me… and slaughter for each other.
I thought the real danger was choosing between them.
I was wrong.
The real danger is what happens when both captains decide I’m theirs, and refuse to let me go.
Two rival Alphas. One forbidden Omega bond. One heat that could ignite an entire league. And a truth none of us are ready to face… Sometimes you aren’t meant to choose. Sometimes you’re meant to surrender.

Seconds after MMC 1 got a revenge bj (purposely to hurt the FMC's feelings) in a bar bathroom while the FMC watched, the FMC made out with MMC 1. Girl...
This was a really good read. Reina is a rare duo-bonded Omega who just so happens to be the fated mate to her childhood friends and alphas, Luca Vale and Jaxon Rourke. Their friendship later became a bitter rivalry due to competing hockey teams.
Reina returns to her hometown after 12 years as a professional photographer tasked with photographing two rival hockey teams that Luca and Jaxon captain. This storyline was very interesting. A trinity bond affected not only Reina, Luca, and Jaxon but also the bond between Luca and Jaxon. The drama was intense and very wild at times, and the betrayal was raw, unforgettable, and absolutely unforgivable. After all they had been through, Reina, Luca, and Jaxon finally got their long overdue and much deserved HEA.
Its a short book, easy read. There are a few grammatical errors, and it gets a little confusing when her heat hits. I thought her heat had happened but then all of a sudden in the next chapter shes fine and back at work. I originally thought the author left the smut out of the heat which is fine but then the heat hits again and yeah just a tad bit confusing. Also seems sort of rushed, this has such potential to be so much more. Diving deeper into the alphas and their feelings for the past 12 years. Seems like all that was skipped over. Still good book.
Oh my gosh, I finished the first book and jumped straight into this one and I have to say I have no idea which is my favorite.
I loved the building of their relationship when Reina returns to town after what happened the last time she saw both Luca and Jaxon, even if she wasn’t too sure herself. The character development in my opinion was amazing, showing the many sides of each character in detail. And also showing how much of a witch Reinas mum is 🙄…
it took twelve years of denying what they all knew. what they all felt. being bullied. their relationship was made to feel wrong. dirty. when it had always been there. three friends that loved each other all along and a overbearing mother that refused to accept it. wondered if she was supposed to be a part of a trinity bond. Anyway it was an interesting love story.
I loved this book! Reina, Luca, and Jax melted my heart. They were so supportive and understanding of her situation and her choices. It made my heart ache. I also loved the MMF aspects. I couldn’t believe Reina’s mom. I was even feeling protective over Reina after the stuff her mom pulled. I’m sensing Shayla and Noah are next in the Knotts and Ice books, so I’ve very much looking forward to that.
Great read for a minute it seemed like it went back then forward, it kind of threw me off. But I enjoyed the read, I wasn’t expecting the attraction with the guys but it was worked into the story very well.
I enjoyed the storyline and the MFM characters. I could not deal with her mother, she should have been taken care of a long time ago. I was glad to see the female character finally stood up to her mom. 3.50 stars
