DEATH SPIRAL PART SIX! The serial killer Torment is following the path of the Death Spiral...and it’s led straight to Dylan Brock! Now the son of Venom is alone, injured and on the run...and Venom’s other child might be his only hope. But will Carnage choose to help Dylan...or kill him all over again? Because SOMEONE’S got to die...
Carnage continues to be a total wild card in this event. The big fight is right around the corner. This event has remained fun and a bit over the top but in a good way. Excited to see what happens with Torment now after that ending.
Paul is dead and the internet rejoices. However, Peter said it well. He was a human being, and even if Paul was fridged it won’t change anything. The last panel though, beautiful.
Omg! Torment stabs Paul Rabin! Whatta cruel way to eliminate the most hated Spidey character of recent time. Even Marvel seem to admit he is nothing, we don't care about him, and he only gets in the way. Spidey, Carnage & Venom arrive too late to save him, but Dylan was able to get away from Torment. Finally realizing Eddie wouldn't indiscriminately kill for their survival, Carnage leaves him and bonds with Torment instead! 😬

While reading I went “wow, Paul finally did something useful,” and then he immediately got stabbed LOL. Classic Paul. Anyway, Pete was right, he didn’t deserve to die. I thought Venom/MJ finding Dylan in the sewers and embracing him as he pieced together what them being there mean for Paul as he realized how cruel his last words to him were was incredibly touching. This issue was really solid.
"You're not on the spiral. You're not on anyone's spiral. I've never met a person who's so.. Unconnected. You're nobody's father, nobody's true love, nobody's family. So all you could be to me... To anybody... Is in the way."
