When Emma gets a promotion, moving her away from the only city she’s known, she finds herself in Barcelona. For the next six weeks, she’s charged with rebranding a local family-owned winery in hopes of saving them from closing their doors at the end of the season. There’s only one her new client is the mysterious man she had the most amazing one-night stand with a few nights prior. While attempting to turn Diego’s family business profitable again, will the two of them be able to keep things strictly professional? Or will the lines between work and pleasure blur?
A.N. Lee is a proud wife and mother of two wonderful daughters. She was born and raised in the Central Valley of California. When she's not running around with her girls, you can find her with a crispy Poppi while writing spicy romances.
A is also an avid reader, specifically romance (no surprise). She will read almost any sub-genre in romance, romantasy, monster, cowboy, sports, dark, suspense; you name it, she’ll try it. She enjoys traveling the world with her family, as well as spending time in the kitchen with her daughters, and on occasion, working on her green thumb in her small garden beds in her backyard.
Wow this was truly something - I enjoyed this so much. It was funny, had the banter, had me GIGGLING and kicking my feet and my gosh the spice holy shit.
Emma gets a promotion and moves temporarily to Barcelona where on her first night she has a one night stand with Diego our hot resident. Turns out she is her newest client and she is in charge of rebranding and marketing his vineyard and wine family business.
The way he calls her sweetheart but then has the dirtiestttt mouth in the bedroom. I am so excited to see the sisters' stories too and hopefully a Mia & Lorenzo novella!!!
This is a cute romance novel with a good amount of spice. Emma and Diego were a cute couple especially with them getting closer while trying to save his families business.
What a cute and spicy adventure that was. I loved the FMC and MMC. They were believable and vulnerable but in a realistic way. I cannot wait for the rest of the series to unfold.
Thank you so much to the author, A.N. Lee for the ARC
Rose-Tinted follows Emma as she travels to Spain to start a new job. For 6 weeks she has the task of helping a local winery rebrand in order to try to save the vineyard that has been in the family for generations. While in Barcelona she meets Diego, a broody dragon (as his sister calls him) of a man. He lives nearby and works for his family's business. They immediately hit it off.
I REALLY loved this book. It's the perfect palate cleanser. I feel like I often read books with emotional devastation, or something heartbreaking along the way, but this book had none of that, which I absolutely needed. I will definitely recommend this any time someone just needs a good, happy read. It has a romance in a beautiful location, delicious food, and a man who calls you sweetheart while buying you books and gives you great orgasms? Sign me up 😉 Spice • Dual POV • "Sweetheart" Rating: 🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶
Emma and Diego felt authentic and the plot kept me hooked from beginning to end. A truly engaging debut novel!
The author’s writing style was filled with fun banter and spice, making it hard to put down. Loved Emma’s teasing brat moments! Diego is definitely all man and the things he says 🔥🥵👏🏻
I can’t wait to follow the series and meet the other Hartman sisters! I would definitely recommend this to readers who enjoy contemporary romances with a focus on traveling abroad ✨
This was SUCH a cute and fun read! I don’t read a lot of contemporary romance, but this one makes me want to read more.
I was nervous there wouldn’t be enough action or it would be slow, but I was SO wrong! I was hooked. Once I started, I couldn’t put it down. I literally stayed up all night to see what would happen.
My biggest green flag for this book was the characters working together against outside obstacles rather than pitting the MCs against each other. Spicy and wholesome at the same time?
Currently searching for flights to Spain…because this travel romance was adorable with a side of flirting, wine, and “this was supposed to be a one-night thing but I’m catching feelings.”
Emma gets a promotion and lands in Barcelona ready to thrive and immediately celebrates with a very HOT 🥵 one-night stand. Enter Diego: charming, smooth, calls her “sweetheart” like he’s harmless.
He is NOT harmless.
Surprise! He’s her new client and she’s now in charge of rebranding his family’s wine business/vineyard. Cue forbidden romance, tension, stolen glances, and “we absolutely should not do this again” energy.
Think Emily in Paris… but when she goes to Rome. If you know, you know.
Emma and Diego have that instant, electric chemistry. It’s very honeymoon-phase, all intensity, banter, and can’t-keep-their-hands-to-themselves tension. The flirting is fun, the connection is passionate, and the spice contains multitudes… Diego is gentleman in public, menace in private.
I had the opportunity to beta read A.N. Lee’s debut novel and I absolutely loved it!!
Rose Tinted is a workplace travel romance with the yummiest grumpy golden retriever MMC and a sassy, funny, strong FMC. Their banter is so good and they are genuinely the cutest together. I loved how natural their connection felt and how easy it was to get pulled into their story.
This is the ultimate comfort read. I was giggling and kicking my feet through so many parts. The tropes really deliver and the spice is TOP TIER 🥵 You will be fanning yourself! And yes, he buys her spicy books with all her favorite tropes! Swoon!
Set in dreamy Barcelona and Spanish wine country, the setting felt vivid and immersive and added so much to the story. I’ve never wanted to hop on a plane more!
One night stand, older characters, anxiety rep, age gap, all woven into a fun, feel good romance that just works.
This is such a strong debut. I’m seriously impressed and already excited for what comes next in this series.
Barcelona is one of my favorite places I’ve traveled to, so reading Rose Tinted felt like getting to revisit some of my favorite spots all over again. ✨
Meet Emma, who lands a promotion that takes her far from the only city she’s ever known and drops her right into Barcelona, where she has six weeks to help rebrand a struggling family-owned winery before it shuts its doors for good. The catch? Her new client is Diego, the same mysterious man she shared an unforgettable one-night stand with just days earlier. 👀
As Emma works to save Diego’s family business, the tension between them is impossible to ignore. Watching them try (and fail) to keep things strictly professional made this such a fun, swoony read. The setting, the chemistry, the stakes—it all came together perfectly. 🍷💕
Thank you again for the ARC opportunity with Rose-Tinted!
An easy read with quick storyline and flow through. It follows Emma on a work placement in Barcelona who has a “one night stand” with Diego who happens to be her new client meeting the next day. Perfect. We love an accidental hookup trope.
Their relationship, both working and personal, grow as Emma tries to re-market the family business to save it from closure.
While a quick easy read, some of the relationships (with the sisters mostly) are not fully developed or explained. It feels slightly rushed but the future books in the series may build on these ones as it follows each sister on their adventures.
There isn’t a big “OH NO” disaster moment in the relationship that you normally get at around 80% of a romance novel that has the couple breaking up to then overcome it and have a HEA which is a nice change. All round a good palette cleanser book.
2 x 🌶️ on the spice scale (IMO)

Emma moves to Barcelona for a work placement and falls into bed with a sexy stranger… who later turns out to be her new client! Sparks cannot stop flying between these two and they struggle to keep things professional. Together, they work to save his family’s winery while falling deeper and deeper into their feelings for each other.
Rose-tinted is everything I look for in a contemporary romance! It was sweet and spicy, with a plot that moved at a good pace and great side characters. I can’t wait to read about each of the Hartman sisters but I’m also hoping we get Mia and Lorenzo’s story too!
A commendable debut from A N Lee - will look forward to more of her books!
I received a free ARC and am freely leaving an honest review. ♥️
🐴THE RIDE This is a true “when in Rome” (cough, Spain) rom-com. The characters are quirky, the vibes are European, and the spice is SPICING.
It’s like *Emily in Paris* when she works on the champagne account, but make it Spain, make it extra spicy, and make the marketing and outfits actually realistic.
Our FMC is BOLD. This woman has no fear and apparently zero concern about having a *Taken* moment the night she gets to Spain. She truly lives life through rose-tinted glasses, meanwhile I’m over here cooking my chicken dry so I don’t get a stomachache.
And Diego? If physical touch is your favorite MMC love language, this is your man. It’s definitely insta-love, but the man wants what he wants, and I’m here for it.
SPICE 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 She’s spicy, cowpokes. The romance and chemistry definitely aren't shy.
🤠WORTH THE RIDE? Absolutely. This felt like watching a cute little season of a comfort show, just with more spice. Stunning atmosphere, lovable characters, low stakes, and genuinely FUN. Not everything needs to be loaded with drama or darkness. Sometimes you just need to put on the rose-tinted glasses and enjoy the ride.
Sipped, Saddled, and Signed Off – catch you next time, cowpokes! 🤠
Rose-Tinted is an absolutely fun and easy travel romance. I loved this book from start to finish. Emma is 20 something who just finished her MBA and is ready to take on the world! She gets an opportunity to work in Barcelona for 6 weeks. She takes the job and the night before she starts, she has a one night stand with Diego, a gorgeous local. Diego is doing all he can to help save his family's winery. As fate would have it, Emma's new client is Diego's family's winery! What a great adventure Emma goes on and grows a ton with Diego. They have such good chemistry and their banter is excellent. I loved their dynamic and how honest they were with each other. It made me reminisce on all my time studying abroad as well as all my travels in Europe! Can't wait to see what the other sisters' adventures bring us!
This is such a cute contemporary romance! Emma and Diego grab your attention and just bring you into their world. The author does a great job of balancing the story and the spice while also introducing and foreshadowing the other sisters' forthcoming stories. A great debut novel!
Debut novel for author A.N. Lee and it was very well done. Heartwarming love story about Emma and Diego. I love the introduction to Emma’s sisters and the open ended way the story finishes leaves room for the sisters’ stories. Cannot wait for what else A.N. Lee gives us!
This is a book I’m sorry to see end! Emma and Diego are just so typical and there’s so much comfort to that. They aren’t millionaires, they aren’t closet rock stars. Hard-working characters who are easy to love who have inner monologues that had me laughing and crying with them.
4.5🌟 Loved this romance that had the right amount of spice. Travel romance (Barcelona), One-night stand to to coworkers, attraction at first sight. FMC knows what she wants. Enjoyed immensely!
This was a really fun book! I loved the plot and the characters. Emma and Diego were super enjoyable and I enjoyed both of them. The story did move sort of fast and some parts made me go huh? But overall, I really liked it.
We meet Emma, who just got a job transfer to Spain. On night one gets rescued at a restaurant by Diego and they have an amazing night together. Emma soon finds out Diego is her new client where they will be working together to help his family winery!
I absolutely loved this book, do not let the fact that it is under 300 pages turn you away, this book was paced well, there was great character development, and a stunning scene set in Spain! Emma and Diego balance each other out so nicely and the banter between them is perfection!!
I love Emma and her work ethic, I could see why she got her promotion and how much she cares about what she does. I also love the relationship we get to see between Emma and her three sisters, it is a great introduction to Lindsay since we will dive into her world in book two! I cannot wait to read Lindsay's story after this background about her character!
We also get to see Diego's family dynamics, role in the business, and his life with the people around the town where he lives! Mia, his sister is a great addition, I loved every scene she was in. And her calling Diego a dragon is hilarious.
There were times of course, where I wish we got even more information but at the same time it didn't feel too short, and I loved having shorter chapters, it really made it a page turner to the end!
🌶️🌶️🌶️ There are definitely some spicy scenes, which I feel do not take away from the main plot line and help us see the relationship between our characters better and how important these new found feelings are for each of them!
FIRST OFF!!! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DEBUT BOOK🥹😭 I am in awe this is the first book by how much love was put into this!
Diego was such a sweet character🥹 He honestly wasnt much grump, all mushy gushy and such a sweetheart. I love how this man was very forward but was always so thoughtful in his decisions with Emma. He was the mannnnn of his family and it showed 🤭 The vibes were off the chart. I imagined myself there surrounded by all the grapes and taste testing wine and thats what a girl wants😩
Emma was spunky and SO FREAKING FUN. This girl got to her location and found a connection before she even let that jet lag hit😏 We love a girl who knows what she wants and goes after it. I absolutely love a forced proximity and this was so beautifully done. Her having to work for him, being forbidden and having to stay professional was 😚🤌 I love a girl who has the same taste of books in me hehe. Her character felt so real with her struggles and past trauma that made me want to hug her😭
Diego and Emma are too freaking cute(and freaky deaky🤠). The way they met? Hot. The chemistry was OFF THE CHARTS. I was blushing hard core😏
A Refreshing, Mature Romance in the Heart of Barcelona. My Rating 4.5 Spice 🌶🌶🌶
This was a fantastic, fast-paced read that perfectly balances "sweet and spice." Set against the beautiful backdrop of Barcelona, the author brings the city to life so vividly that it made me want to book a trip there immediately.
This was an incredibly entertaining and fast-paced romance that perfectly balances a "sweet-spice" vibe with the vibrant, atmospheric setting of Barcelona. The chemistry between Emma and Diego is instant and refreshing, anchored by their maturity and a direct, honest communication style that avoids typical misunderstandings, their flirting is top-tier. Diego is a compelling lead navigating the complexities of family expectations and personal independence, while Emma is a talented, bright protagonist whose professional drive and relatable dilemmas make her easy to root for. Overall, it's a light, sexy, and fun story that leaves you eager to see what's next in the following book.
My ARC eview is voluntary and reflects my honest opinion.
Rose-Tinted makes for a great debut contemporary romance novel. The age gap and work place romance in Barcelona was spicy and full of great banter.
Emma is adorable and sassy while she and Diego work together to save his family’s wine business. You can’t help but fall for Diego’s adoration for Emma (and meeting her sass with witty comebacks of his own) and his sister is so witty I was laughing by the end.
A.N. Lee has a way of making side characters feel vulnerable and real and leaves the reader wondering about them almost as much as Emma and Diego. Can’t wait to find out what happens next with the Hartman sisters and even Diego’s sister. What a fun ride.
nooooo I didn’t want the book to end! i actually was stalling on finishing the book lol 😩
i loved this book soooo much! i love how well written it is! Emma and Diego is definitely my favorite couple right now and I can’t wait to see more of them! When the book first started I was already pulled in because Emma reminds me of myself. The plot twist when she realizes Diego is the customer after they’ve- 🤭 was CHEFS KISS! i can’t wait to experience the rest of The Hartman Sisters series 💗
4.5 ⭐ I really loved this book! Good and fun spice, but so cute and the MCs actually like each other. No drama, or miscommunication tropes, or people making dumb choices and acting petty, it was a real feel-good romance. 🌹💕 The writing was simple and easy to read, but descriptive enough that I really felt like I could play out the book in my mind like it was a movie. I can't wait to read book two, Lavender Haze! 💜
