About the author

Hiro Fujiwara (藤原ヒロ in Japanese) is a Japanese manga artist.

The manga artist was once active under her previous pen name, Izumi Hiro (和泉 ヒロ) at the end of the 1990's but has abandoned the name after she won the Best Rookie award in the LMS for Kaeri Michi, Yuki no Netsu.

Her first series, which is also her latest ongoing work, Kaichō wa Maid-sama! (会長はメイド様!, translation Maid Sama!) is currently serializing in Hakusensha's monthly shōjo manga magazine, LaLa. This series is licensed by Tokyopop for North America, and an anime adaptation was broadcast during Spring 2010.

Well, I have read the last physical volume of Maid-sama! - since the publisher stopped putting it out in English. If I wish to continue the saga (most likely), I will have to find it all online. I do want to know what happens with the elections, and if she can finally realize her feelings, so overall, I like this series and will continue, one way or another.

Usui n misaki so cute moment are so beautiful.I kinda feel bad for shintani like he was in a third wheel n looked at misaki n Usui relationship together. Everytime Usui n misaki are together, shintani always being left out n I feel him too, I know how it feels like being left out n it hurts at the same time when u love someone else because I can relate to it. Aoi making acting scene is getting boring, the most interesting was 2 idiots story in the past when they become delinquents n how they turned new leaf because they afraid of their mothers n meet the guy who they rescued him n that guy who beaten by the bully become the delinquent person. I wish someone called me (my lady) instead the word darling - it's sounds disgusting n every some boys used it when they are couple or gf/bf thing.

I've never made it past volume 6? Maybe 8? And I finally got my hands on every single issue so I did a mass re-read/catch up finally... So this is a review for the series as a whole. This was SO funny. I loved the relationship that Misa and Usui had, and the friendships that they all had with some of the other characters.

I enjoyed getting to watch them all grow and learn about themselves. There were a few matchups at the end that didn't really make any sense to me. But other than that this was a highly enjoyable series, and I can't wait to re-re-read it. (and then maybe update each review with volume specific notes)

Pobrecito Hinata, pero así son las cosas y que le vamos a hacer.
Por otro lado ¡Vaya que los estudiantes de primer año no aguantan nada XD! A Kano le tocó se el sacrificio. También me gustó conocer más a la familia de Misaki.

La historia extra si que no me la esperaba, es decir, Shirokawa en el primer tomo tenía cara de maleante, pero no me imaginé que fuera así en secundaria, que bueno que cambió.

I love that Misaki, in her own way, is trying to come to terms with the new nature of her relationship with Usui and also becoming more in tune with his feelings. Also, Usui is now allowing himself to be more open towards Misaki, and letting his emotions show. When he's upset or jealous he expresses a bit more openly to her. Keywords: a bit. He still has a long way to go.
They both do.
But I liked that he was a bit more expressive toward Misaki's mom. Speaking of! I love her and I also love that she sees right through Misaki and her feelings for Usui. And I also like that she commented that Misaki likes someone opposite to her father. (Also mentioning that Shintani was more like their father, probably one of the reasons she won't see him that way.)
And since we're on the subject, Shintani and Suzuna are a duo I didn't ask for but desperately needed. Hamburger for the win! But poor guy has finally realized Misaki's taken and yeah, he's heartbroken but I'm not too attached to him to feel much.
Someone I AM attached to, who made me feel SO MUCH in this volume: the idiot trio! Well, mostly Shiroyan and a little bit Kurotatsu. Sorry, Ikkun! They were so cute!? And once so badass!? And they were drawn so well!?? And the huge grins!!? And the BOSS!!!?????? OH, MY GOD!!! I LOVE THEM.

But yeah, great volume, as always. It was seeming like a 4 stars, but the idiot trio made it a 4.5, for sure.

Kind of a short volume, but the 1st and the last chapter gave me life so I won't complain. They really changed the timeline in the anime, with this volume's events being shown before the festival arc which was the finale of the anime but in the manga it was in the volume 7. Anyhow... still loving it ♥

La mitad de estos capítulos ya estaban adaptados al anime, así que no me asombré en ese aspecto.
Pero el capítulo sobre la elección estudiantil sí me gustó, el personaje de Kanou ha evolucionado bastante y nos deja ver que es super tierno en realidad.
Este volumen tuvo bastantes capítulos extras, por lo que no acontece nada importante.

Picked up after the rewatching the anime for like the 5th time LOL
I think this would be like the 3rd time rereading this series?

This brings back memories LOL I feel like a highschooler all over again, wishing I had a life as interesting and as cute as this ahahaha

Muncul pemeran tambahan, yakni Suzuna, adiknya Misaki, dan ibunya. Suzuna dari sifat ga mirip sama sekali dengan Misaki :D

Misaki sendiri mulai malu-malu dihadapan Usui. Usui juga jadi lebih ekspresif gitu, lihat kedekatan Misaki dan Hinata yang sudah lama berteman. Lucu aja sih lihatnya ^^.

Oiya, cerita tambahan tentang trio payah lucu juga. Awalnya preman, jadi tergila-gila maid XD

After those confessions, Misaki somehow took a lot of care towards Usui. But, hmm.. I really wonder what's happening with Usui. Why he decide to hide something from Misaki?

Aside from that, now I can see Shintani's quality as Usui's rival. But well, a shoujo manga will definitely make Usui and Misaki together, right?

Une lecture agréable est sympa. On apprend pas mal de chose sur le passé des perso, notamment Hinata, il me fait de la peine il est amoureux de Misaki depuis longtemps, mais désolé je la préfère avec Usui, on rencontre aussi la mère est la soeur de Misaki. Les personnages sont bien faits est complexes, ils évoluent au fil des tomes.

After Misaki and Usui kissed last volume, we mostly just see Misaki blush whenever she’s near Usui. I was a bit confused on whether they are together or not.

I heard Hinata and Suzuna were endgame. At first I didn’t like that because I think it’s weird when someone is in love with one sibling and then dates the other. However, their personalities mesh well together and I’m not mad about it anymore. I do want to see how their relationship develops.

I don’t understand why Aoi’s aunt doesn’t let him work in the cafe. He’s only two years younger than Misaki. I think it would be fine if they let him work for an hour or two. I just don’t like that his family are weird about him cross dressing. Like who cares.

I didn’t like this one quite as much as the last one. It focused on other aspects besides Usui and Misaki—like Hinata, who’s obsession with Misaki weirds me out. Also the idiot trio’s bonus story did not find me.
