I enjoyed this novel, especially the unusualness of the storyline and the setting. Sidenote: 11:11 is my 2nd favorite time (yes, I'm a dork and have favorite times)! I recommend this to anyone who needs a short thriller - less than an hour - that will get you thinking.

What better way to sooth a wounded soul than to seek out group therapy. But, in "Silent Lucidity" there are no shared stories, no releasing of suppressed guilts. There is only silence.
Usually in stories, silence acts as a prelude to disaster, or a place where one can lose themselves. Here, it is used as a place to heal, a silent retreat where spoken word is forbidden, any verbal communication is shunned. Using this as a plot device was clever and kept me vested as the story carried silently along. Tension continued to build until everything came crashing down.
A well-structured and engrossing tale by Brooke Montoya!

Wow..mind blown while reading. I couldnt stop reading it. Short, but very fast paced. it was such a good read and it left me wanting to find out more. Who was the man, did he exist? Or was it just in her head from the accident. Either way, it leaves me wanting more! Such a good read!
