Errrmahhgerrdd! Hey you....Reader....yea YOU! You've read the other books in this series and now you're thinking to yourself "I don't know if I'm going to read Romeo because I already know what's going to happen". It's cute that you think that Reader but you're wrong. YOU.ARE.SO.WRONG! Reader (that's a term of endearment for you, btw), you have no effing idea what is about to happen.........
Although this book is titled Romeo it is not solely about him. Just like the other books in this series it is also about the other members/family of the MC. Romeo is even more so though. There are POVs from several different characters without confusion for the reader, which is a true talent from the author. I could not put this book down and I am sure that you won't be able to either especially at around 60%. You will not be able to think about anything else until you've read to the end. SO many things happen and I'm still sitting here in shock. Every member of the MC is affected in this book......EVERY MEMBER!
I don't know if I should throttle Glenna Maynard or worship her! When I read Striker I didn't think the series could get better but she has proven me wrong.

WOW !! Absolutely amazing !!Glenna Maynard has definitely outdone herself with the 5th instalment from the Black Rebel Riders MC series !!
This is a lot different from the first 4 books as you get pov's from all involved and it switches time frames from present day to the past. You're given an insight in to each of the characters involved but, be warned you will need tissues at the ready as this one is a ride you won't forget or get over in a hurry, as faces from the past come back !!!!

The fifth book in the series, Romeo, will rip your heart out and stomp on it! This book has taken this series from awesome to EPIC. You get POVs from characters you haven't before and this book gives you a t.v. series experience where you can see a complete picture of what's going on with everyone. I loved the in-depth journey and twists and turns of this novel. If you thought you knew how it would end, you are wrong. Maintaining the raw, real grittiness the author shows of the MC life, Romeo takes you on the rough ride of outlaw life where lives are shattered and worlds shift, some for the better and some not so much. In the end, I was crushed but in a satisfying way as the book was as entertaining and hot as all the rest. Romeo may have his HEA in view but will it stick? I can't wait to read the next book!!

That quote from Romeo truly says it all!!! Get ready for the ride of a lifetime!! Hold on tight cause nothing will prepare you for what is coming. Just when you think you know – you have NO clue. I absolutely loved Striker and didn’t know how Glenna could ever top it – well let me tell you she not only topped it, she took the whole series to a whole other level. When I tell you every character and member is affected by the events in this book, I mean EVERYONE!! Romeo left me an absolute mess and in complete shock throughout the book, I can’t even begin to count the WTF and OMFG moments. I had my heart ripped out and shredded, the suspense keep me on the edge of my seat, even caught myself holding my breath. When I finished this book I honestly didn’t know if I wanted to hug or strangle Glenna for what she did or the mess she left me in. I swear this series gets better and better with every book and I can’t wait for the next. I already need it NOW. Glenna Maynard writes an amazing, gripping, and suspenseful book that will keep you guessing – all you can do is hold on for the ride and OMG what a hell of a ride it is!!

Ok that was Epic ........ In a Big Way... first off I was disappointed in Striker... Rebel... Still am with Rebel.. How could he... Jesus , & what Grim Did to Sunshine pushed her away... now look were he is .. even I don't know & well we won't till the next book……… A Lot of Heart Ache in this one ... A Lot of WTFs ...OMGs ....& No He Didn't.... People are Dead... & Back from the Dead... & Grim is missing... ... I know this is Romeo's Story & Yes for the most part it is... but Sh!t is going down all over the place.... & Its happening Fast as ever.... & well at the end its ... To Be Continued... & Dam Glenna Maynard that's just mean...

Wow this book's had my head rolling back and forth, I'm not a fan of books that keep flicking from past to present but it seemed to work really well with this book. Glenna has written this book excellently and the whole concept of it was well plotted and flows together and makes it Another great addition to the series.
This book was Romeos story but It was much all the clubs story's really it has you flicking through each ones life and past's which open this book right up to all the gritty action with twists and turns that keeps you captivated to the last page.
I loved all the other books leading up to this one and with each book feeling like they lead to a Great end this book rips you wide open you don't know who you'll love or hate while reading but your love the journey :)
I love all the twists and That baby still continues to dominate the books and continues with this one. This book will have you feeling it all with No emotion spared I love Romeo in this book and the way the book has opened up to new events.
I'm looking forward to the next and I just know it's going to be mind blowing :D
I highly recommend this book but you should read the series to get a better feel of the people within the club your love them and there crazy @sses lol

Dark gritty and intense loved every second of it
I have the biggest book hangover after Romeo if your looking for a Mc Book full of heart and flowers this is definitely not for you but if your like me and love a book that is dark gritty intense and keeps you on the edge of your seat from the 1st page then get one clicking. This has been my favorite so far in the series. Just when you think you know what's going on a curve ball is put in the mix this book will leave you question everything and I do mean everything.

Will striker and baby last?
Will Romeo fight for baby?
What is happening with Grim and sunshine?
Is Rebel and Rumor going to have a baby?
Who will come face to face with their past?
Get ready for one intense rollercoaster of a ride.
There is so many questions that need answers and they will be answered but get ready for even more questions after your finished reading this book. And this is exactly why I absolutely can not praise Glenna Maynard enough her writing is pure brilliance and has me hooked and obsessed with this series. If I could give 10 stars I honestly would. Wow! I am truly at a loss with this one. I truly feel cheated to be honest. I didn't like 90% of this book. I absolutely loved the other books in this series...this one totally shattered me. The character worked so hard to obtain their HEA's in the first 4 books and I was truly looking forward to them all maintaining those HEA's, with ups and downs here and there of course. I just felt cheated that Striker/Baby, Rebel/Rumour only just seemed to get their HEA for them to be totally shattered. I get it's only fiction, but let's be honest...who likes reading about HEA's being totally shattered & ripped apart?? And not just 1 couple...every fricken one! I certainly don't.
To be honest, I am hoping that this was just a nightmare of a club member and things aren't really as bad as they just appeared to be???? please let this be a huge possibility! There were so many instances where things just didn't make sense or add up. I truly hope book 6 clears the air in a huge way, otherwise I am sad to say, I don't think I could honestly continue reading this series.

So I am probably not in the right state of mind to write this book since a just finished it less than 5 minutes ago. Alas I know that it won't get better though because like always I am left with a huge book hangover. Just when you think this story couldn't get anymore heart breaking or you really didn't think you could be turned inside out emotionally again....Romeo is written. I refuse to give spoilers but if you think you can't be shocked anymore..You are so wrong! Nothing is sacred...nobody is safe! Just jump in and read but once again your going to leave the Rebels...crying, sick and so shocked your just not going to believe what you just read and will be waiting again for more.

Holy Shit!
Wow......what can I say without giving any spoilers away?? Well....this book was packed full of action, sex, angst and everything in between! I felt every emotion. I had to put the book down at one point because I was so pissed off. My mind is still spinning from everything that happened. I really don't even know how I feel right now except to say that this book was written to make you feel this way. Glenna did a great job and I can't wait to see what her next adventure will bring us!

OMG What to say about this emotional roller coaster of a series. Only recently discovered Glenna Maynard, from now on I will be one clicking her books. This one was the best by far, so many ups and downs I was gasping and shaking my head throughout. Just when you think a couple will finally find happiness, grief and sadness abound. I was left cursing Glenna for what happened to one of the characters (no spoiler) Safe to say, love these books and will be reading to find out what happens next.

What a wild ride this takes you on. So many emotions will hit you with this book. All kinds of twists with a few unexpected revelations. The truth bombs come out as everything unfolds. It's a page turner that will have you on edge from start to finish. An amazing read that doesn't disappoint.

Nothing is sacred and no one is safe!! People, long-time friendships & relationships, marriages... Nothing will leave this book unscathed! Here’s a warning to those who only like books where previous characters who already got their HEA or seemingly got there HEA and have nothing change in future books…this book puts everything to the test! (I am under no such pretenses and while this shocked the hell out of me and I may have cursed the author, it’s her story and I liked it and have no idea where she’s going from here or how many books will be in the series!)
It’s like a TV soap opera series or something of the sort. A train definitely derailed in Drag Creek, Kentucky and tried to wipe out the Black Rebel Riders! Every single member in the club is affected in some way…EVERY member. There are things in this book that seem to just come out of nowhere and destroy just a little piece at a time.
I you think you know how this book is going to happen or go, you’re absolutely wrong. I had no preconceived notions about this book. I just wanted Romeo to find some peace and love, as he definitely deserves it. Baby & Striker deserve it and so do Rumor & Rebel, Grimm & Sunshine and even Foxie deserves it. But sometimes the culture and life you lead are not conducive to it.
I think that MCs have been romanticized to the point where we want to overlook the dirty, raw, violence and the way that a lot of them have no problem with cheating because it is the way of their world. (Mainly because they are written by romance writers & fans want the HEA to end and remain an HEA, and because it’s fiction!) But Glenna’s Black Rebel Riders all have faults that can be glaringly obvious to not only the readers, but also the characters in the story, but they all know the code they live by.
I must say, because I’ve knocked the books in this series for lack of editing and mass amounts of grammatical errors, this book only had about 10 MINOR errors, nothing like the problems I had with the previous books. The previous books, I thought could have been 5-star books, except for the amount of errors. This book does not have the errors and I’m glad!!

I will start with Glenna Maynard Killed it yet again! Romeo has so much *hit going on. There are more lies and secrets that finally see the light of day. I can tell you that she will take you on one heck of a journey with this book and she will leave you with your mouth hanging wide open!
Striker Black is my everything. I love this character and he is one messed up SOB. Once I got to 68% I wanted to jump in my kindle and kick his butt and then close to the end of the book I actually had tears in my eyes when I read Baby's chapter.
Baby has been all over the place in this series and god love this girl! She is every bit of her father's daughter. I love her fierceness and her I don’t take *hit from no man or women. I love it!!!! Best part is when she look Celeste and she.... oh sorry I can't tell you because I don't want to ruin it for you. Baby deserves so much more than what she is getting. If anyone deserves true 100% happiness, it is this woman right here.
Sunshine shocked me in this book. I mean I know we all have a past but I had no idea she did what she did. I am just glad she finally realized that life isn't all what it is cracked up to be. I mean I was so mad how Grim treated her but then again that is why I love him and he is still #1 in my book.

This book shows you the type of man that he really truly is under that cut of his.

After reading this book I’m 😭😭😭.
As I predicted in the previous book review, all marriages go to hell:
1. Baby and Stryker return from the honeymoon to find that the Feds have arrested everyone, so Stryker acts as Prez and strikes a deal with another MC moving dope for them. They discover that there is a rat among their ranks and deal with it. Baby is pregnant but she has not told her husband yet since he has been spending time outside lately and has staring taking drugs, in addition to catching him in a compromised situation with a whore named Chelsea. Baby is messed up, her feelings for Romeo haven’t dissipated and when she has a scare in her pregnancy it is he who is by her side while Stryker is sleeping with Chelsea. Baby and Stryker separate, but before Stryker arrives one night drunk and rapes her, which causes her to lose the baby and the chance to get pregnant again.
2. Rebel also has problems with Rumour, she wants to have a child but she has problems conceiving and he ends up having an affair with a bartender who works for the other MC, and she ends up pregnant.
3.Grim,knowing that he faces many years in prison, does everything possible to divorce Sunshine since he wants her to enjoy life.
Rumor is murdered and Rebel blames Stryker and shoots him and Stryker ends up dying some time later in the hospital (I always hoped that Stryker and Baby would solve their problems and have a HEA since Baby has lost and suffered so much and she is only 21 years old).
But a ghost from the past returns so.. Everything is possible.
So much heartbreak in this book, this series is not for the faint of heart.
As I predicted in the previous book review, all marriages go to hell:
1. Baby and Stryker return from the honeymoon to find that the Feds have arrested everyone, so Stryker acts as Prez and strikes a deal with another MC moving dope for them. They discover that there is a rat among their ranks and deal with it. Baby is pregnant but she has not told her husband yet since he has been spending time outside lately and has staring taking drugs, in addition to catching him in a compromised situation with a whore named Chelsea. Baby is messed up, her feelings for Romeo haven’t dissipated and when she has a scare in her pregnancy it is he who is by her side while Stryker is sleeping with Chelsea. Baby and Stryker separate, but before Stryker arrives one night drunk and rapes her, which causes her to lose the baby and the chance to get pregnant again.
2. Rebel also has problems with Rumour, she wants to have a child but she has problems conceiving and he ends up having an affair with a bartender who works for the other MC, and she ends up pregnant.
3.Grim,knowing that he faces many years in prison, does everything possible to divorce Sunshine since he wants her to enjoy life.
Rumor is murdered and Rebel blames Stryker and shoots him and Stryker ends up dying some time later in the hospital (I always hoped that Stryker and Baby would solve their problems and have a HEA since Baby has lost and suffered so much and she is only 21 years old).
But a ghost from the past returns so.. Everything is possible.
So much heartbreak in this book, this series is not for the faint of heart.

TOXIC!!! SO FUCKING TOXIC!!!!
I swear this club should be disbanded because they are so toxic to one another! I've never read of an MC is that is so fucking disloyal to one another! Brothers sleeping with other brothers wives, no one understands the concept of loyalty, Fidelity, faithfulness! The only two people in this series that have never strayed, have always been true are Sunshine and Rumor! OMG...poor Rumor! Why the fuck did that shit happen to her! She did not deserve that shit...Baby on the other hand...well let's just say I wouldn't be not even a little upset if that would have happened to her! Why Rumor? She was so sweet and kind!
Oh and what the fuck between Baby and Romeo! That shit us just disgusting and not just because he's like thirty years older than her but because of his relationship to Striker! That shit is just fucking gross..fucking your sons wife? So what he will be little Colt's grandfather and step father too? What the fuck is up with people!!!!
BTW..how are STDs not running rampant in this dirty ass club? I'm on book five and can count one hand the number of times condomns have been used, trust me with the amount of fucking that goes on this this club I'm surprised nobody's shit hasn't rotted off...ewww!!!

This book I really liked. Although it was chock a block full of heartbreak and tragedy it flowed much better than the previous books. I was so disappointed in Striker and I won't even go into how I feel about Rebel. I know that Grim did what he did because he thought Sunshine would be better off but its still heartbreaking. Where the hell is Grim now???? Hopefully the next book will reveal this. The situation with Romeo and Baby....I'm not sure what to feel about that...and LL???? Sarah (Rumor) didn't seem to have a chance right from the moment of birth. Hopefully we find out who is doing what in the next book also. Betty....what can I say - always knew she was scum! What astounds me is how easily these people fall into bed with each other with no regard for their spouses whatsoever. Again, I feel sorry for the kids - they must be getting whiplash they way they are being tossed around.

Twists and turns galore in this 5th instalment of the Black Rebel Riders' MC series. With some time leaps between past and present, and written from the POV of Romeo, Striker, Baby and a few other main characters, Glenna Maynard leaves you happy, angry, amused, saddened and just plain heartbroken all in a couple hundred pages. There are some BIG shocks in this book, that I did not see coming at all.
I would suggest you read the first books in the series before reading Romeo because there is a lot of back story needed for this book to make sense, but that's no bad thing.
A great read. Can't wait to see what happens next.

This is by far the darkest book of the series so far, I'm not gonna lie if your looking for hearts and flowers this book is not for you. It is dark, dirty, gritty and raw but it is real. I finished the book and I immediately read it agin just to confirm that yeah it all actually happened. I'm not going to give any spoilers but prepare yourself because you haven't seen anything yet, it's Romeo's book but it really is about the whole MC and no one and I mean NO ONE emerges unscathed from the wreckage, your heart will break and will be left bleeding on the floor when you get to the end. I need book 6 now no pressure Glenna.

wtf this book is a 5/5 this by far has Been the best of the series...this book had me going through all kinds of emotions ! just wow!! I need book 6 like yesterday!!! I can not wait for what is coming next ! the cliff hanger at the end blew me away dammit !! Glenna Maynard women that was a he'll of a rollercoaster ride of emotions thank you !! I am so looking forward to the next book in the series ten thumbs up to you !!

where for art thou Romeo
I have followed this series since its inception. It has gotten better with each book. I LOVE these characters so much. Romeo is the older man everyone fantasizes about. Striker shows that power trips really can go to your head. Baby shows us how strong you can truly be, even when you want to crumble. This book left me in shambles and I will be patiently waiting for the next installment!

Romeo the fifth book in the Black Rebel Riders’ MC series did not fail to impress and rip me in two at the same time. Romeo is filled with so many twists and turns my head spun, combine that with heart-shattering, jaw-dropping moments that you won’t see coming and you have an epic story that will keep you white-knuckled the entire time. This series is a definite must read! I cannot wait to see where this story goes.

WOW what a great book. You get a good inside look at the characters. It explains some things that happened in the past. Then it hits with some major and I do mean major surprises and twist that you will NOT see coming. I think I am still going "wait what, that can't happen, REALLY! and my favorite reaction I had NO! NO! NO!".....It was a amazing read and I can't wait to see where the story goes from here. This book left my mouth hanging open more then once. Rated great
