Raised to be obedient. Sold to be submissive. Stolen to be free. My two long-lost brothers and an uncle that I never knew existed deconstruct the walls built around me that kept me tethered to my lifetime of abuse. Isolation used to feel like a punishment, but now, I’d beg for it.
THIS IS A TABOO SPLATTERPUNK EROTICA WITH EXTREMELY HEAVY TRIGGERS AND BLOOD SIBLING INCEST. READER’S DISCRETION IS HIGHLY ADVISED.
Dani Rose is a dark taboo pen name for the dark romance author, Emily Klepp. She is creating stories that make you question your morals and wonder why you chose to read taboo at all. Keeping separate from her usual trauma healing stories, this is the place where her intrusive thoughts run wild.
okay, so I need to start by saying what MY star ratings equal -1⭐️ not for me, 2⭐️ it was decent, 3⭐️ good & liked it, 4⭐️oh my, WOW, 5⭐️ cannot live without this book- my 2 star is other people’s 3 star & so on and so forth!
for me this was 2 stars BUT, IT WAS NOT BECAUSE OF THE AUTHOR OR THE STORY!!! please read that again!!! part of my goal for this year was branching out in my reading & this book is TABOO (absolutely nothing wrong with that, I read other taboo things myself & splatterpunk is by far my fav genre!) I did branch out & this just wasn’t for me like I thought it may be.
HOWEVER, I know like 3 people I can immediately recommend this to for them to read when it comes out & they’ll love it!!! AND I will recommend it to them! For a plethora of reasons! It’s short & gory & ties up nicely at the end which can be hard to do with novellas! The taboo was written how someone would want a taboo piece written.
I want to take a moment for a quote that stood out to me - 🗣️“I thought if I screamed enough, he might hear me in hell” I did enjoy this quote & chuckled a little because honestly, hell yeah.
And honestly, Marissa saying she wanted to run at the end was something that stood out to me too. We have so many stories of women going through so much and then saying they want to fight or do more. I think it is so reasonable & nice to see a FMC decide to just walk about & “run” & be done. I appreciated this for the ending a lot.
Again, while this wasn’t for me, I’d love to read more from this author & will 1000% percent recommend this book to others so they can also enjoy this & find a new author to love!

I am writing a quick review now, and will possibly update in future.
I received this as an ARC, and I’m giving it a 3.5 ⭐️ along with a 5 🌶️ (nothing, is going to get as f—ked as this)
This is a very quick read and is extremely dark with many trigger warnings, so be prepared and I feel trigger warnings should not be skipped reading for this one.
It’s taken me awhile to figure out what I wanted to rate this, I was taken aback when starting this, and my mind was blown. This felt like reading a car crash ‘in a good way’, where it’s dangerous to look, but you can’t look away. I felt uncomfortable and it made me question what the hell I was reading and why, I am still uncertain on whether one of the tropes may be one I don’t like or not? I am still confused myself and trying to understand my own trauma and healing. However, I did not DNF, I finished this book like my life dependant on it. I’ve read one of the tropes for side characters but never main characters. This was a first for me.
This read, is set to make you uncomfortable and question yourself.
The writing was spectacular though, and I think that’s why I finished the novella, it was written to draw you in regardless.
Would I recommend this to friends? Yes, especially if they read dark romance and taboo.

I personally wouldn't categorize this as splatterpunk but it is definitely taboo. If you are looking for a lot of gore, you won't find it here. There is a decently bloody scene in the beginning and at the very end, but as someone who reads A LOT of splatter this was pretty tame for me. HOWEVER... the taboo portions of this story were fantastic. This was an absolutely deranged family affair full of non con and SA, so read with caution.
I received a copy in exchange for my honest review.
Holy F♡€k!! It was absolutely shocking to go on that wild of a ride in such a short splatterpunk novella. I knew a couple of the TW by quick glance but I tend not to read them for a fear of spoilers. The TW are more like a menu, and boy was I NOT dissapointed! If you want extremely taboo, dark, feminine rage, gore, and plenty of spice.....read this!!!!
Check your triggers!! Your mental health matters!!
YOU'RE MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS!!! Please read and pay close attention to the trigger warnings at the beginning of this book. There is some content and scenes in this book that are not suitable for all readers and could be triggering for others. Always remember that your mental health comes first at all times. Beg for It is A Taboo Splatterpunk Erotica by Dani Rose.
I love Dani Rose and the way that she pushes the boundaries and how she really pushes our expectations of our books and on the expected triggers she uses. And Beg for It is no different. This is a brutal, confrontational, and honestly emotionally exhausting story that really feels very intentional.
The tone that Dani uses in this story is absolutely relentless with unforgiving pacing, and the storyline has an atmosphere that’s steeped in this despair, rage, and a warped desire. Dani doesn’t ease you into anything rather she drags you under and she forces you to sit with the absolute horror, trauma, and the twisted way that survival manages to reshape your mind.
Beg for It isn’t meant to be a comfortable or palatable read. I quickly realized that this book is meant to hurt, provoke, and linger with you long after you’ve read the last word.
Dani has given us this story that is uncompromising in a voice that never once softens the brutality.
The heavy psychological impact this storyline that reflects all the cycles of abuse and the bonding that comes with trauma.
There is extreme content that’s been used deliberately all used in order to provoke discomfort and reaction in the readers.
There’s a very strong theme of revenge, vengeance and reclamation that’s been twisted and woven through violence.
The pacing the Dani uses mirrors the protagonist’s loss of control and autonomy.
I am going to take a moment to warn you that this is an extremely graphic and disturbing read. Beg for It includes sexual violence, incest via grape, human trafficking, torture, gore, and severe psychological trauma. This is the first novel in the splatterpunk sub-genre.
Now, I didn’t know what the splatterpunk sub-genre was about and I had to look into it. And I want to explain it a bit so you understand it too. Splatterpunk originated back in the 1980’s as a sub-genre of the horror fiction and it’s defined by its “hyperintensive”, graphic, and often times extreme gory depiction of violence. The term was coined by David J. Schow in 1986, and it acts as a punk-inspired revolt against subtle, traditional horror. It aimed to shock, disturb, defy societal norms through visceral, often anatomically explicit, scenes of blood and terror.
I strongly advise reader discretion and advise you read and check each and every one of the content warnings before you open this book and start reading this book.
Dani Rose wrote this book intending it for those readers who intentionally and actively seek out trigger heavy, extreme taboo splatterpunk and know and understand exactly what those words entail.
If you are searching for shock, psychological devastation, and a story that’s going to push each and every boundary without a single apology. Beg for It, delivers all of those and so much more. This isn’t a safe read, this isn’t going to be a healing read, it’s not a casual read, but, if you are part of the right audience this is going to be one of the most unforgettable reads ever.
The core of this novella is survival, the refusal to allow hope die even when you feel like freedom feels like an impossible dream. Marissa’s story is harrowing, rooted in her lifelong conditioning and exploitation, yet what really stood out to me the most is Marissa’s internal resilience. Despite what she’s been forced to go through she still believes that there’s still something more for her outside her isolation and obedience.
If you can handle all the triggers, if you can handle the splatterpunk sub-genre, then I do highly recommend this book. But, it’s not for the faint of heart and it’s not an easy read.
My favorite quote is:
“I thought if I screamed enough, he might hear me in hell.”

Final Take
This book is for readers who actively seek out extreme taboo splatterpunk and understand exactly what that entails. If you are looking for shock, psychological devastation, and a story that pushes every boundary without apology, Beg For It delivers. It is not a safe read, not a healing read, and not one I’d recommend casually but for the right audience, it’s unforgettable.
Beg For It by Dani Rose is a brutal and emotionally charged dark splatterpunk novella that packs a surprising amount of intensity into a very short read. At just thirty nine pages, this story wastes no time establishing its oppressive atmosphere and the desperation of a life shaped by control, captivity, and the constant longing for escape.
At its core, this novella is about survival and the refusal to let hope die, even when freedom feels impossible. Marissa’s story is harrowing, rooted in lifelong conditioning and exploitation, but what stands out most is her internal resilience. Despite everything she has endured, she continues to believe there must be something more waiting for her beyond isolation and obedience.
The writing is unapologetically dark and intentionally unsettling, which fits the splatterpunk tone well. Readers should take the trigger warnings seriously, as the content is heavy and confrontational. That said, the violence serves a purpose rather than existing purely for shock value. The shift from powerlessness to reclamation is handled in a way that feels cathartic and earned.
The revenge elements carry strong "I Spit On Your Grave" energy and are a fitting addition to the story’s message. Watching Marissa reclaim control and find strength in herself is deeply satisfying and necessary for the emotional payoff. Her transformation is not romanticized but portrayed as raw and hard won.
Isolation plays an interesting role in the narrative, ultimately becoming a symbol of freedom rather than punishment. By the end, the story reframes what safety, family, and autonomy can look like after unimaginable trauma.
Overall, Beg For It is a disturbing yet purposeful novella that explores the cost of survival and the power of endurance. It will not be for every reader, but for those who appreciate extreme dark fiction with an underlying message of resilience and liberation, it delivers exactly what it promises.
A totally off the charts taboo read with all the feels. Be sure to read your triggers!! Chapter 1: Raised to be obedient. An abusive father that raised her to be the perfect submissive sexual servant. Trained by his own hands, he was proud of how his daughter was the completely willing sex slave. So much so, he had her sold to the highest bidder! Much like how he gained his own wife when she was just 13y.o. Chapter 2: Sold to be submissive. Enter her new Master, Ross and his right hand man, Roger! Her father brokered the deal and then promptly began showing her new master how well she gave over to any depraved sexual favour that Ross may indulge. Chapter 3: Stolen to be free. The finale to this taboo story leads to Marissa facing 3 new men. Her Uncle Oscar and half brothers Omen and Kaz. They rescue her from Ross and Roger, but not before Ross convinces her she is safe with him. Oscar, Omen and Kaz have their work cut out to convince Marissa she would be safer with them than with Ross! There is definitely a lot of Dark depraved sexual scenes with in this short story. It goes from one to the next in the blink of an eye. How does Marissa decide? Does she stay with Ross or take her chances on Oscar and the boys? Yep and with definitely some sibling incest it makes for a hella a hot read.
Beg For It is written by Dani Rose and is a taboo splatterpunk erotica. This one has pretty intense triggers, so be warned. It does have some blood and gore, but if you are a splatterpunk reader, you are no stranger to it. For being only a few short pages, an intense impact is felt.
Beg For It throws you right into a brutal situation. We are introduced to Marissa, who has been conditioned to give up her body to serve others. While knowing nothing but exploitation and humiliation, she still has hope that there is something better out there.
In true splatterpunk style, Dani does not hold punches. She is very detailed and graphic in her descriptions. While it does have spice, it leaves you feeling dirty and disgusted because you enjoyed it. In an unexpected twist, you are given a HEA, which surprised me. I really look forward to reading more by Dani Rose.
Thanks to Dani Rose for gifting me an eARC of Beg For It. I am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Although I expected a bit more splatterpunk, this was a fun little read. Now don't come at me for liking books like this.
Marissa is sold by her dad to her uncle... didn't see that one coming. Seeing what she's been through, you'd think she would any away from everyone and everything. But Marissa has been brainwashed so badly, it's just eerie. The book also started off with the action, which sucked me in immediately.
I went in completely blind so I had no idea what this book was about beforehand. I also never read triggers because they spoil the book for me.
Also... After the deaths of her parents, the house was set on fire, right? Or did I miss something here? Because after Ross and Roger were killed they set that house on fire as well. They want to make it believe that Marissa's dad was the one to kill Ross, her mother and Roger. But wouldn't it come up on an investigation that Ned and Sherry were already dead? Or will they lead the investigation array by influencing it?

My Review Beg For It is a taboo splatterpunk erotica that delivers a short, intense, and fast-paced spicy read. This was my first time reading Dani Rose, and I can confidently say I’m already a fan.
The trigger warnings are clear and upfront, which I truly appreciated. The author makes it known that this story won’t be for everyone, but it was absolutely for me. The taboo elements are unapologetic, the spice is accelerated, and the story doesn’t waste time getting to the point.
Despite its length, the writing is tight, emotionally charged, and effective. There’s more than just shock value here, the story carries emotional weight, dark themes, and a sense of catharsis that made the read satisfying from start to finish.
Overall, this was a well-written, straight-to-the-point splatterpunk erotica that completely held my attention. Dani Rose definitely piqued my interest, and I can’t wait to read more from her.
This was my first-ever ARC read, and I didn’t just dip a toe in—I dove straight into the deep end of dark, taboo, unapologetically smutty chaos.
Beg For It is a very quick read that still packs a brutal punch. It’s emotional, erotic splatterpunk at its finest. Dani Rose doesn’t tiptoe around boundaries—she shatters them, drags you through every uncomfortable feeling, and somehow leaves you desperate for more by the end.
🖤 What to Expect: • Dark & taboo themes • Extremely trigger-heavy content • Raw emotion mixed with filthy intensity • Boundary-pushing scenes that linger • A fast-paced story you’ll fly through
This book is not for the faint of heart, but if you like your reads twisted, provocative, and emotionally charged, Dani Rose delivers in a big way. I’m officially hooked and very ready for whatever she writes next.
I don't know what I should be more worried about. The fact that this book is really SICK!!! Or the fact that I liked it?😅
Well, the only thing I kind of couldn't stand was the tiny part with the mother at the beginning (NO SPOILERS!!) but that's it. And hey, you gotta draw the line somewhere, right?😉
I don't get how this one is so detaild with such few pages! It has a seriousley big mystery plot twist, alot of gore, spice and ends with a HEA even though being a short novel! I'm here and I'm all for it😏
This book have some serious and heavy TW's though, so please read these before you decide to read the actual book. It's really not for the one's who have a weak stomach. But is it worth it if you can handle it? Absolutely 😈
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶🌶🌶 This little book man it started off with a bang and didn't slow down one bit. If you choose to read Beg Fot It check your triggers! Do not take them lightly. They are there for your benefit! Now let's get into the review!!! The action picks up from page 1. Our FMC Marissa has been raised to obey and serve. Deep down there is so much fight in her getting there is just rough. Her pain can be felt in every way shape and form. My only reason for reading this small book so slow is due to being sick, but even with that over taking me all my feelings were with Marissa. The brutality that comes out of left field made me smile and laugh. Call me crazy, but the violence is epic. Some men in this book are awful, despicable, and not worth spit men. Other are the savage lovers we all need! I'd love to have me a Kaz! Dive in tell to the insanity! Happy Reading!
Beg For It is a taboo splatter punk, very erotic, story. It was brutal, gruesome, and dark, but so so good. Marissa's family is absolutely unhinged and I am here for it. Marissa starts off as just being the obedient little pet that she is trained to be. Until she sold to her uncle. At first, I thought he was going to be her safe haven but boy was I wrong. That man was insane. Her brother's though, probably even more insane but they gave her choices and options and that made her feel safe. I loved the way Marissa took her vengeance though. That was brutal but also well deserved. Dani Rose is my go to for when I want something dark, erotic, and completely unhinged (and I mean that in a good way). If you enjoy the dark and gruesome and taboo isn't something that bothers you, this is definitely not one to miss.
Okay so let me start by saying this is my first book that has been labeled as a splatter punk. I am an advid dark romance reader (the darker the better) so I didn’t think this would be much different. BOY WAS I WRONG! It is so much darker themed, intense, and graphic, than most (not all) things I have read, and I’m not mad or upset about it. I LOVED IT!! After reading this, I actually think some of the DR books I’ve read should be labeled splatter punk instead. If you’re not used to dark stuff I would tread very lightly with this one and definitely read the full list of trigger warnings as well.
This is taboo, brutal splatterpunk so if you don't like it brutal and full of triggers you should keep on moving. Dani Rose is known for shocking and brutal stories so you've been warned or welcomed.
Marissa was born into a horrible situation. Grape was the normal and obedience was required. Now she is to be used as a bargaining chip. This is where the first blood bath begins.
Her situation goes from bad to worse with the possibility of even worse on the horizon. Until her uncle and half brothers step in.
Marissa gets some very creative revenge that makes Lorena Bobbitt look tame.
I absolutely loved the choice she made at the end and it was not what is typically choosen.
A short novella that hits all the dark and taboo marks. This is splatterpunk not romance we open on non-con and continue that path through most of the story. But in true fictional sub fashion our FMC enjoys herself even through the dark parts. If you are looking for a great plot this isn’t the book for you it is all spice no plot which is perfect for this kind of splatterpunk story. Unlike many books in this genre you get a HEA with this one. My one wish would be to get an epilogue, I want to see our FMC and her guys enjoying each other a little bit into the future. Spice:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Star:🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
I received Beg For It as an ARC and I give it 4.5 stars. This book is very fast paced and gets straight to the point. I wish it would have been a little longer but was still happy with how it ended. It is very dark and spicy and has a lot of smut.
Marissa (FMC) is auctioned off by her dad. She was raised to be obedient and do everything she is told to do by her master. If she complains she is punished. This is a book you need to read your trigger warnings. This book is not for everyone. I really hope that there will be a book 2 to come to maybe add more to the story of Marissa and her now brothers and uncle.
Uhhh what. Why did I volunteer to read this 🤣 this was absolutely disgusting and horrifying and grotesque. Brutal violent bloody gory atrocious behavior incredibly taboo in a disgusting way but I am questioning why I actually finished the book and read it straight thru. It definitely ticks the boxes for pitch black splatterpunk horror romance I don’t even know dude. I can’t tell if I’d ever recommend it or try to forget I even read it. Good enough to get 4 stars but dark enough I wanted to throw up but also couldn’t stop reading and now I’m questioning sanity. We all need therapy 🤣 good luck if you chose to read this one like I did.
Beg For It is extremely dark, intense, heartbreaking, and twisted! This is one of the times that if you have any triggers it is absolutely necessary to read the warnings! Marissa has lived a miserable life full of abuse at the hands of her father and later on a new master. She finds her freedom with the help of unlikely allies. She was forcefully taught obedience. But she is a survivor and you can see her starting to speak up and find herself. This novella packs a lot of darkness and uncomfortable situations in just a few pages. If you are okay with taboo and can handle the content warnings you should definitely give this a read.
Splatter Punk Extreme Taboo... that sums it up quite nicely. Make sure you check your triggers should you choose to read this little novella.
Marissa was raised to be obedient in every way. Her life started with her father who used her as his own smex toy. Marissa who is later sold endures days locked in the basement of her new Master's home. And this is where the ride gets wild. Marissa finds that she has other family besides her dead parents. This family ultimately kills the Master who is technically her uncle (?).
Best line: I thought if I screamed loud enough he would hear me in hell.
Marissa's decision to disappear with her Uncle and two half brothers, good choice.
This story wraps up with its own little HEA.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Marissa was born into a very rough life. Even up to her demise, Marissa's mother still had a little fighting spirit left in her. I have never cheered louder for someone's death, then, I did Marissa's father. He was a horrible man and got what was coming to him.
I felt for Marissa and the new situation she had found herself in after her father. Yet she was fortunate that she is rescued by her two long lost brothers and uncle.
I did really enjoy this novella. It is a quick read. If you like dark stories that are unapologetic, then, you will like this one.
This book is for sure one I would actively ENCOURAGE you to read the triggers for. It is dark and very taboo!
Marissa is taught to be obedient from the beginning. She is essentially groomed but one thing I like about her is her fire when it comes out. She is determined to not be abused again and her spirit? STRONG!!
If you are looking for a light fluffy novella, look elsewhere because this book is all revenge, blood and gore. If you're a fan of splatterpunk that has a ton of taboo in it, step right up and beg for it!
Marissa's story is very emotional. She has been conditioned to serve others and not complain.
This story has blood and gore in it. And it was fun to see how Marissa gets her revenge and actually enjoyed the blood and gore. Yes you go girl.😉
I totally loved this taboo story. It gives you a sense of hope for freedom.
I enjoy Dani Rose's stories very much. They are not for the faint of heart. So please check TW before reading. Otherwise dive into this quick dark splatter punk story with a HEA. 🤗🖤
I am very grateful to have read this as an ARC and I am leaving my review voluntarily.
I’m not sure what I just read. I had to sit for awhile and ponder. This was dark and twisted, and dark and twisted…just wow. I’m not sure how to put this into words. Honestly, this is the most dark and twisted novella I’ve ever read. Was I prepared for it? No. Do I regret reading it? No. Because aside from the terrible things that to place, the SA, the brainwashing, the taboo. There’s read life behind every word of this. And I can’t hate on that. Overall, this book was very well written. It was written with depth and harsh visualization. But it was good.
