Adeline's adventures are a brief but exciting romp into a world where women are expected to be heroes, and no one gets to take it easy and avoid this important calling. Adeline is the rare one who just wants to enjoy her books, her library, her peace and quiet, but the Queen and fate have other plans. I'm a sucker for pirate adventures and this one is fun for all ages, especially for young girls who don't fit what society expects of them, whatever society that might be. A fun, quick read!
