I chose wisely in choosing Hulk as one of my favorite superhero’s as a kid. Such an out of the box environment for a Hulk story but this is phenomenal. I remember seeing the art for this when I was growing up and now, after having finally read the whole thing, there is so many good things to say about this story. It’s up there with immortal hulk. Will never forgive Taikai Waititi for turning this into Thor Ragnarok. Smh 5 Korgs / 5 Korgs
This has to be my favorite Hulk solo story I’ve ever read/watched. Really cool adventure for the big guy, with some super heartfelt and emotional moments. Heavy on the aura farming as well. Excellent supporting cast of all-new characters. I really like this original version of Korg and especially Miek, who I recognized from the MCU’s Planet Hulk ripoff, Thor Ragnarok. Also loved Silver Surfer in it. The book has some genuinely sad moments, including a pretty sad ending. I’m definitely going to have to read World War Hulk now. I also have to include that I absolutely love that Marvel actually gave us the whole story/run in this book, which is atypical for their Premiere Collection. Most of them that I’ve read just end kind of abruptly, unlike DC’s Compact Comics, which give the full story, no matter how small or large. So I was really glad to get the full book with this one.
