What if the monsters weren't the problem—but asking about them was?
Flesh-eating aliens have arrived through dimensional portals. America's first response? Sensitivity training. Sanctuary cities competing to house them. HR Departments handing out Cosmic Ally badges while employees quietly disappear.
Joe kept his head down. He did the training. He wore the badge. He didn't say a word when his coworker got fired for asking the wrong question, or when the news started calling devourings "cultural events." But when something with tentacles eats his neighbor in broad daylight and moves into the dead man's house—and the cops shrug—Joe finally opens his mouth.
That was his first mistake.

DEVOURED BY DIVERSITY is a dark comedy for anyone who's watched institutions gaslight an entire civilization and thought: am I the only one seeing this?
I wrote this book as a joke. Then reality kept catching up.
Three stars for the writing. Five stars for the fact that I keep having to emphasize that this is satire because real headlines keep stealing my material. Minus one star because my mother still doesn't know this exists and I'd like to keep it that way.
If you've ever sat through a mandatory training and thought "this can't be real," congratulations! That means you're the target audience. If you've never had that thought, you might be a character in the book.
I'm giving myself five stars because nobody else has yet and I believe in manifesting.
Also, because I'm sure you're curious, I'm writing under a pen name because I've seen what happens to people who say things out loud. Which, coincidentally, is also what my book is about.
