I have been waiting for this book since I demolished the first two. While this series isn't in my usual genre to read, I gave Episode 1 a chance and was hooked from the get go. I am firmly in Team Gabe camp which the author knows, but I must admit after reading this book, Nathaniel is growing on me. I love the way the author brings the book alive with her descriptions and writings. I can almost picture them the way they are meant to be. Episode 3 begins a bit after 2 ends as Lexa and Nathaniel embark on their journey to try to find and hopefully save Gabe. They go through different places and find themselves often having to fight and scrape their way out of situations while encountering many different creatures. And decisions have to be made regardless of their risk and outcome. This book is not a standalone. Episode 1 and 2 must be read in order first.

Book 3 in the Devestation series is by far the one filled with the most emotion, action and death (possibly ). Lexa, is devastated over the loss of Gabe and if that's not bad enough her mother's health is failing. Nathaniel loves Lexa with all his heart, but feels responsible for Gabes death. In this portion of the series, Lexa and Nathaniel leave Earth using Lexa's "finding" powers to locate and open portals to strange yet eerily familiar places. Along the way the danger they face brings them closer than ever, and Lexa's new found powers manifest in unusual ways.. This book ends in the cliff hanger of all cliff hangers, you don't know whether to cry or send the author a message to hurry up on book 4 in the series. It's that good. This is a 5☆ read, no matter whether your Team Gabe or Team Nathaniel, you're in for a major plot twist and left asking yourself " did I just read that ?? No it couldn't be !! " , well hang on for one heck of a fun if bumpy ride, as you'll come face to face with a creature of myth, and a major character so traumatized that she's unsure of being able to carry out the rescue mission. Best book in the series so far, and keep a box of tissue close by !!

Loved!!!

Seeing as this is the third book and Kelley loves to leave us with questions by the end of each one, this one is exactly that. Lexa and Nathaniel begin their journey to find Gabe. In doing so we get to know them both a little better. And Nathaniel *swoon* Glad we get to know him better!!!
