Zane is ready to retire. All he has to do is take down a demonic army that’s about to unleash the greatest horrors of the Fae Wilds onto Earth.

The final battle between Zane and his enemies is at hand. As the Second Aether War boils across the Veil and into Santo Domingo, countless foes move to stake their claim.

Zane, his wife, and their girlfriends must make the final do they join some of Earth's mightiest heroes to stop what's about to happen, or do they sit on their hands and watch it burn?

Well, that isn't much of a question, is it?

Dark City Girls 3 is a crossover event, featuring characters from the Daltonverse and Fateforged Universe. It includes romance and epic action. It also concludes one portion of the Second Aether War.

I just don't care anymore. This Universe has been beaten to death and is moving in so many different directions that it's too much like work to keep track of it all.

Threes Company

This series is very well written and gives you a great storyline and plenty of action and spice. The characters abilities are explained well enough for a novice to understand and it makes for an easy read.

The references are annoying, I don't like having to stop and analyze if a character or place is relevant to the plot of this series, or if some throw away reference to 'flesh out' the world building happened in this book or one I haven't read.. Don't like marvel/dc or most of Aarand's work for same reason. Demon hunter was great because it was original, and wasn't concerned with selling you a multiverse by calling attention to it with awkward call outs.

When it wasn't referencing itself it was okay. Still superior writing and characters, just wasn't that interested in the plot anymore. The plot revolves entirely around the multiverse stuff and not about the mcs own story. Not as good as first one. Really wish author would leave this fateforged crap to others now and do something new.

Great conclusion

A great ending to a great series, I loved all the crossover and cameos towards the end of the book. I believe they're just enough that a new reader to the universe will be fine. As someone who has read most of the other series I have to say that i always appreciate the series time line in the beginning because some of the series are set out of order and it can get confusing. Back to this book, it's is sad to see Zanes story ending but like the author said maybe we'll get some cameos. Maybe he'll take a nice trip on a boat to go fishing with a certain MC ;).

It was an alright end to the trilogy. Nothing special. It's kind of annoying though when the author brings in what i can only assume is the harem masters from his other book series, like this is some shared universe thing. It's annoying because i don't care about any of them. I'm only interested in one guy and his harem, and that's the MC of the book i'm reading.

That was a good rib recipe at the end though. Too bad i don't own a barbecue.

Fantastic and can only Hope this is not the Final

Just fantastic, creating a wonderful closure to on part of the DaltonVerse and praying that there will be more as Zane starts a Family, and apparently old friends return to open another chapter of fantastic storytelling,

great series

I really enjoyed this series. Zane is the epitome of “I’m getting too old for this”. Dude just wants his retirement. You can read this book as a standalone but I really recommend that you check out the rest of the Daltonverse and the Fateforged universe.

Good book but it did feel long

As a slow reader I appreciate books that are not extra long. This book had a good and complicated story to tell. I kind of wanted some more connections with other books written by this author. I will have to wait.

A suitable ending to a dynamic series

Although it may feel a bit rushed at times, this is a good capstone for the "Dark Girls" series. Nothing elegant, nothing fitting perfectly, but an economic brutality that suits the world.
