Nothing like a dark mafia romance to get the motor running!
Alexei "The Butcher" Drakovich is exactly what his name promises; brutal, deadly and absolutely magnetic. When he's forced into an arranged marriage with sheltered Lucia Rossi to keep peace between the Russian Bratva and Italian mafia, you know it's not going to stay peaceful for long.
And it doesn't.
When the bastard son of the mafia man starts making moves, blood gets spilled and Alexei shows exactly why you don't mess with what is his. Watching him go full protective mode over Lucia was so completely wrong that it made it all right.

When it comes to dark romance that is straight to the point and spicy, Jenika knows how to write it.
This was yes short but it worked, it got straight to the point without any side quests and straight down to the spice we all came for. the main characters where both on the same leave, both understanding and just fit together so well. the butcher doesn't play around, and if you so much disrespect his wife, well I hope you didn't enjoy your life.
Hoping this series continues and we see more off this world and what stories it holds.
