Conn 3 is another classic John Deacon Western with a touch of romance.
“John Deacon writes the kind of Westerns I like to read—gritty and fun with lots of heart.” — Don Bentley, New York Times Bestselling author of the Matt Drake thrillers; the Tom Clancy Jack Ryan, Jr. novels; and the Vince Flynn Mitch Rapp series
WOW...WHAT A GREAT CONCLUSION TO A TOP RATED BOOK AND SERIES
3/24/26 Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Conn 3 by John Deacon is not only a great book but a great conclusion to a really great series about a man by the name of Conn Sullivan, his twin brother's widow, Mary, and a whole slew of characters tat are well developed and written in a way that you'll be cheering when they triumph and on the edge of your seat when they are dealing with the hardships thrown their way by ruthless thugs, gunfighters, and ranchers who want to take everyone's land by forcing them of their land or down right killing them.
This book and series is action packed from the first page of the first book to the last in the third book. Each book is a continuation of the previous and you'll need to read them in order to get the most out of the story and the characters, each book in itself, is great within itself, but as a complete storyline read in order, it will make a lot more sense and be more enjoyable. I know that I have really enjoyed reading this series and can't wait until John Deacon's next book and series is released. I hope you too will find yourself enjoying this book and series as much as I have.
Let’s get the suspense out of the way- Conn and Mary get married. Also, the remaining Blake brothers aren’t done hunting for Conn. Someone is paying big money to farmers for their hay All they see is dollar signs, forgetting they need to feed their cows. The rancher moving into town is Hammet and his wranglers are gunslingers. The ranchers are forced to sell out. Now we know why the high price for hay. Between the Blake brothers and Hammet’s gunslingers, there is more than enough action and shootem ups. To fill the pages. Lots of feel good things too. Excellent ending to this trilogy.
Most of the good guys are able to walk away after the last battle, but you'll be on the edge of your seat when there's 3 battles happening at the same time! Mr Deacon has an uncanny knack of making you want to know the trajectory of a bullet through a body and at the same time hoping the hero gets the girl.
A fitting ending to this trilogy. Conn and Mary deal with life and love in some serious ways and some hilarious ways, always coming together in the end. I enjoy John Deacon books except for the difficulty in putting them down to get some work done!
Conn had a hard time losing his brother. He did what he thought was right . the series was great. I couldn't wait for the Last book to out. It kept me on my toes all the time. I finished the last book in one day. Thank you for a great series.
Conn 3 brings a end to a very good John Deacon trilogy. All the important characters are brought back plus some new ones who cause nothing but trouble. Makes for lots of action.
