Declan’s first day at the flower shop begins with Valentine’s bouquets and ends in humiliation, mocked at a club for his height and walking home convinced he’s destined to be alone until Oleander, a sentient bouquet cursed to remain trapped in petals and stems unless she finds her true love, enters his life. When she transforms into a striking, six-foot vision and calmly asks him for water, Declan thinks he’s lost his mind but the magic is real, and so is the spark between them. Declan, bruised by rejection and initially rough around the edges, longs to be valued for the heart beneath his insecurities, and Oleander bold, dominant, unapologetically sassy yet quietly vulnerable after years without humanity might just be the queen who teaches him his worth. As her backstory unfolds and the truth of her curse comes to light, their chemistry ignites in a fast-paced, deliciously spicy romance that balances heat with heart. Surrounded by familiar faces and growing stakes, Declan learns to stand where he is celebrated, fiercely protective of the woman who chose him, and together they race toward a sweet, satisfying ending that proves love can bloom in even the strangest soil.

It’s a sentient bouquet 💐

An ancient curse puts Oleander into an endless loop of being a bouquet, dying and returning once more. No-one knows how to break the curse, not that she can communicate in her flower form. Until as a joke work colleagues give the bouquet to Declan, what happens next is something he never thought would become his life.

A quick Valentine novella, with more spice than plot. I’ve read a few sentient stories, this one however was great because it was a female who became the controlling factor in their relationship 🤭 I’ve no idea where Tanya’s mind wanders off to when she writes but I am so there for it 🤪

Thank you, Tanya Lynn for the ARC of Blown by the Bouquet…. It was a perfect Valentine’s Day novella.

I thought this was cute, spicy, and about time it’s a female who is in control 🤣 I thought that for as short as this was… there was good development of characters.

I think I will venture back and read the other 2 from this series…

This is part of a series, and if u want a full character experience, ur gonna wanna read the series in order

Oleander has been a flower bouquet for 4ever, and when Declan sees her in human form, he has fallen and needs to know how to break the curse. This is a good fast-paced erotica novella.

ARC read thank you for this opportunity again.
This story was a quick read for me I love the main characters. And how the MMC didn’t know how to really love until he met the FMC and as a bouquet at that he fell in love with her and fell even harder in her true form.
I love your drawing of her wasn’t expecting that at all.

"𝓨𝓮𝓼, 𝓶𝔂 𝓺𝓾𝓮𝓮𝓷."

This is book three of the "Cursed Celebrations" series. Ans if you're looking for plot, then you're in the wrong place, darling. It's all smut, and I'm here for it.

We meet Declan starting his first day at work, and his boss, Nathan, informs him that they're waiting for a batch of beautiful Valentine's Day bouquets. A few of his coworkers come along after work to the club with him, but he gets no such luck with the women there being ridiculed for his average/short height. Disappointed, he leaves for the night. Will he find someone to love him for his heart for forever being alone? Next, we meet Oleander the sentient bouquet, forever cursed to stay as she is unless she finds her true love to break it. When she transforms into her human form and asks for water, he assumes he's dreaming... is it real? Will she break the curse and be free?

Declan is our 5'6 MMC, who wants nothing more to be appreciated for who he is on the inside and not be judged for his short height. It's just a shame at the beginning he can't take rejection like a man and resort to rude behaviour. Anyways. I'm glad he soon learns to go where he is celebrated: to his queen, Oleander, and he's hooked. And he does have a soft, caring, and protective side.

Oleander is our 6'0 FMC is outspoken, bold, and sassy. Clearly the dominant one in this fascinating yet strange dynamic. She's not afraid to show her vulnerable side and is mature about how to handle herself after a decade of not being human. Her character is strong and likable.

We get some backstory that leads us to make sense of how exactly the FMC is cursed and what she goes through, which is always good. Even though it's mostly smut, we do get some good plot, actually. I like how she gets on with the rest of the characters, and we meet some from the previous books - always a pleasure! I appreciate how the MMC likes the new structure the FMC provides him: he comes to truly love her and does everything in his power to protect her. The main couple's chemistry is sizzling and complimenting each other very well. Also, the ending wraps up ever so sweetly! This is fairly fast-paced, doesn't rush, but gives us exactly what we're here for. Short, spicy, and fun!

Blown By The Bouquet (Cursed Celebrations)
By: Tanya Lynn
Publisher: Tanya Lynn

What Did I Just Walk Into?
A cursed sentient bouquet, a Valentine’s ice storm, a tall dominant flower-queen, and a short king who discovers he absolutely loves being told what to do. Basically paranormal romance chaos wrapped in petals and spice.

Here’s What Slapped:
Tanya Lynn does it again with the cursed-object universe. The concept alone is wildly creative, but Oleander steals the entire show. She is bold, confident, dominant, and somehow still emotionally vulnerable after centuries of rejection. Declan’s transformation from shallow and insecure to loyal, soft, and devoted actually works and feels earned. Their chemistry is ridiculous in the best way. The humor lands, the spice delivers exactly what the premise promises, and the Valentine’s ice-storm setup makes the whole story feel cozy and unhinged at the same time. For a short book, it still manages to include backstory, character growth, callbacks to earlier books, and a satisfying HEA.

What Could’ve Been Better:
If you’re here strictly for plot, you will not find a dense one. This story knows exactly what it is and leans into it fully. Some readers might want a little more world-building around the curse mechanics, but honestly, the character dynamic carries everything.

Perfect for Readers Who Love:
Paranormal romance with humor
Dominant FMC energy
Short king MMC redemption arcs
Sentient object romance
Fast, spicy Valentine’s reads
The Cursed Celebrations series

Sum-Up:
Short, spicy, weird, and unexpectedly sweet. This story feels like laughing, blushing, and rooting for two absolutely ridiculous characters who somehow make perfect sense together. Another fun, chaotic win from Tanya Lynn.

I want to start by saying Thank you to Tanya Lynn for the ARC read. I will say my review does have some spoilers so if you are not wanting spoilers please do not read. I do advise reading the first 2 books in this series, If he wanted to, He wood, and You are my wishbone. To understand some of the characters in this book. It is just a suggestion.

I swear just when I think Tanya Lynn can't blow my mind anymore she pretty much says hold my beer let me show you! Blown by the Bouquet was absolutely amazing. I laughed so hard it wasn't even funny. Declan and Oleander story was just so wild in all the best way. How Declan go from a self-absorbed short king with standard taller than he is to, being a sweet submissive to Oleander and serving his queen. Then the curse hit after they stayed in the cabin and ollie turned back into her boutique Poor Declan tried everything. He was so heartbroken. Then ollie come back and Dec was so happy. Once everything settled and time went on Declan loved being ollies loyal pet so much, so he proposed and the tattoo went away cursed broke. This was such a good read. I loved all the thing this book had to offer. It was a short read but a very good thing. I am excited to see how many more curse objects Tanya can come out with in the future.

Quotes I loved:
" If you can prove that you are my good little pet, then i think we should see if were compatible in all ways." -Ollie
"My Queen, may I eat?" - Declan
"GoodBoy. Yes." (I'm drenched from witnessing him perform for me. He's a quick learner)

"Ollie makes my world complete. Even after time, she's never lost her sparkle. I think it's because she's just as beautiful inside as out, and in any form she takes." - Declan

Blown by the Bouquet is a short, standalone novella set within Tanya Lynn’s interconnected Cursed Celebrations world. You can absolutely read it on its own, but longtime readers will enjoy the familiar vibes and subtle connections that make this universe feel cozy and complete.

This story is pure Tanya Lynn charm—fun, flirty, and emotionally warm. It’s one of those reads you pick up expecting something light and end up smiling way more than planned. The romance unfolds naturally, balancing humor with heart, and while it’s short, it still manages to deliver satisfying character growth and romantic payoff. Nothing feels rushed; instead, it feels intentional, like a perfectly timed rom-com moment.

The tone leans playful with just enough spice to keep things interesting, and the writing has that easy, conversational flow that makes you feel like the author is having fun telling the story—and that joy carries straight to the reader. It’s the kind of book you read in one sitting and immediately recommend when someone asks for a quick, feel-good.
Blown by the Bouquet is a delightful reminder that romance doesn’t need to be long or heavy to be impactful. It’s charming, fun, and leaves you with that soft, happy feeling romance readers chase.

💐💐💐💐

💐 MMC Short king
💐 FMC women cursed in a bouquet
💐 Dom/Sub relationship
💐 spicy/smut with plot

This is the third book in Tanya Lynn’s cursed celebrations series and it is giving just like the previous two, a delectable love story with plenty of sinful smut.

The MMC is Declan who is a single man looking for love, but he has a problem… he’s a bit of a douche and never makes true connections with women. He clearly hasn’t met the right women to help keep him interested and inline until now!

The FMC is Oleander is a women who has been cursed in a bouquet of flowers who needs true love to break the curse. Oleander is tall, bold sassy women looking for true love, oh and did I mention she’s a Dominant 😉.

This is a perfect novella for Valentine’s Day or really any day. It has the right amount of spice/smut and plot. This can be read as a standalone in the series but honestly you’d be missing out on some backstory and wonderful couples if you don’t read the previous two.

This story is expected to be published February 12, 2026.

I received this ARC from the author and I am giving my honest review.

I had the pleasure of receiving this as an e-ARC and voluntarily will be giving my honest review. First of all this blow my mind!! You must read your triggers before diving into this book! The characters grow into their roles and their dynamics was just phenomenally done!! This book had me crying laughing. Chefs kiss to Tanya Lynn well done!! If you haven’t read the first two books you should before jumping into this one. This is book 3 in the Cursed Celebrations.

“Cursed into a bouquet by a petty king, Oleander has endured a thousand deaths from rejection. Her last chance arrives with a Valentine’s ice storm, stranding her with Declan—an arrogant, shallow, walnut who seems like her worst nightmare.

But Oleander has a plan for her insufferable new pet. Over one snowed-in weekend, she’ll use every dominant trick she knows to bend him to her will and make him beg for more.

Can Declan learn to see past her petals and love the woman beneath? Or will his failure blow her last hope away forever?”

Tanya Lynn has done it again! Another playful romance that isn't what you expect when you pick it up. Blown By The Bouquet is HEA you didn’t know you needed! Just in time for Valentine’s Day!

Oleander, royalty that is cursed by a pathetic king, has been turned into a beautiful, sentient bouquet of flowers. She is forced to endure death after death while trying to find her one true love. When a snowstorm traps her with Declan, a shallow fool, she shows herself in human form. Will she be able to break the curse and find true love?

This is a fun, short read that is basically all smut with a sprinkle of plot! Lol! In her human form, Oleander sounds quite beautiful, so of course, Declan would be drooling! The chemistry between them is scorching hot.

Thanks to Tanya Lynn for gifting me an eARC of Blown By The Bouquet. I am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a quick spicy fun sentient object romcom. The pacing was great for how short the novella is. We do get some cameos from Tanya’s other books as well.

Oleander and Declan have a great relationship. They communicate openly and place their trust in the other. I loved how sarcastic she is with him right from the start. She took exactly what she wanted from him with zero hesitation.

Oleander’s curse was harsh and something she never deserved. I loved how dominant and confident she is. She is bold and knows exactly what she wants. And Declan is the perfect pet. She takes correcting his behaviour as a challenge.

Declan was an obnoxious shallow tool at first. He wholeheartedly admitted it, at least he was self aware. He is average height for most men, 5’6, a short King. He does grow as a person once he meets Oleander. She awakes a hidden part of him. And he does become a better person and proper partner to her.

The author Tanya Lynn asked me to read and give an honest review for Blown By The Bouquet. I absolutely recommend this book. It is the perfect read for Valentine’s Day.
Declan is the MMC. He is a “douche canoe”. Well that is what his friends call him. He is cynical, picky, and definitely not a man you would want for a relationship.
One of the men he works with Ash (yes the same one from Tanya’s previous book “IF HE WANTED TO, HE WOOD”) gives him a bouquet of flowers for a gift. Declan takes the flowers home then poof the flowers magically turn into a female version of the bouquet. Her name is Oleander.
The flowers are actually cursed and the female must find true love or it’s a lifetime of being cursed over and over inside this bouquet for hundreds of years to come! Will Declan be able to prove his love to Oleander?
I have loved every one of these Cursed Celebrations Books. You will too!

Another great addition to the Cursed Celebrations series! Blown By The Bouquet is quick, spicy, and it's Tanya so of course its unhinged! I have never read sentient romance before this series, and it's just such a blast if I'm being honest!

I really enjoyed that the object was female this time, and all of her different "parts" added a fun little twist I didn't see coming. Oleander knows what she likes, and isn't afraid to demand it.. especially after being cursed to a bouquet form until true love comes along.

Declan is quite the walnut, but it was so nice for our short king to find his forever! His devotion to Oleander was heart warming and I loved his willingness to try new things to please his lady.

If you're looking for something super smutty that you'll devour in one sitting this Valentine’s Day, go check this one out!

I totally enjoyed Blown By The Bouquet. This is the 3rd book in the Cursed Celebrations.
Oleander has been cursed by a petty King to die a thousand deaths being a bouquet of flowers. And on Valentine's she is stuck in an ice storm in a cabin with Declan who is arrogant and shallow. Which gives her a challenge for her new pet using her dominance to bend him to her will.
Will Declan see past her flower form and love the woman underneath? Or will her last hope of the curse being broken. Be shattered because of his rejection?
Please check TW before reading. Otherwise you all need to read this crazy wonderful story.
I love how Tanya's mind works. With her stories that will make you laugh, and totally enjoy the steamy connection between the FMC and MMC. And you are guaranteed a HEA.
Enjoy this quick Valentine's read everyone. 🤗💜

"I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.” Blown by the bouquet. Declan’s first day at a flower shop ends in humiliation until a cursed, sentient bouquet named Oleander transforms into a bold, six-foot temptation who claims she might be his true love. What starts as disbelief quickly turns electric.
Declan is bruised, defensive, and aching to be chosen; Oleander is dominant, unapologetically sassy, and deliciously in control after years trapped without touch. Their chemistry is instant: charged glances, sharp banter, and heat that smolders long before it ignites. As the truth of her curse unravels, the romance burns hotter, balancing vulnerability with undeniable spice.
I love this story for the way it centres desire and devotion, proving that even the most insecure heart can be worshipped, claimed, and taught exactly how worthy it is.💛

I received this book as an ARC from Tanya.

Please read trigger warnings before diving into this book, it may be triggering to some.

Declan and Oleander's story was another fun read from Tanya. Declan can definitely be a mean guy but once he sees Oleander he gets this feeling in him that he wants to change and save her from the curse that has had her set as a bouquet for a long time. Oleander is from a time where her being dominant is not acceptable, so the weekend she is with Declan she can really be herself. Declan enjoys every minute with her and has some hiccups along the way but Oleander works her magic on getting him to kneel in the all the right ways.

Thank you for allowing me to read their story!

If you’ve read any of the other entries in this series, you know that the items in the Enchanted Celebrations store are cursed in some way, and the owner is trying to find them a home/person who is a good match.

Declan, the MMC, is the newest store employee. He’s a bit of a loser, a self named Short King who doesn’t take rejection well. He’s thrown for a loop when a seemingly every day bouquet turns into a beautiful bombshell named Ollie.

It’s fun to watch Declan learn a thing or two about women, courtesy of the titular bouquet. He also learns a bit about himself.

If you can suspend any disbelief at people being trapped in random objects until someone falls in love with them, then you are probably going to enjoy this.

Sentient flower woman

This is the first sentient object romance I have read where the object turned into a woman. Oleander is not just a woman but a Domme.

Declan is very shallow, rude and cocky in the beginning. He constantly rejects women because they don't meet his standards but when he sets his sights on someone he gets mocked for being short. At 5'6" most women don't give him a chance.

Oleander was cursed long ago and when she ends up with Declan she assumes it will go like it always has before. Except this man is different. He finds he only wants to please his Queen.

This was a fun and spicy read. It's great to see this one was different in multiple ways. This one also had both characters growing and changing instead of just the object. What a fun read.

I am absolutely OBSESSED with this book.

I love the Cursed Celebrations series, and this one was just off the wall fun
Declan, as per Oleander, is truly an absolute WALNUT. He struggled so hard to get out of his own head about his height and ended up really being the douchecanoe the boys at the shop told him he was.

But Oleander showed him he was more than that. She showed him that in order to achieve his full height, his full potential, his place was at her feet. Serving her as his pet.

The spice in this book is next level Femme-Dom, so please check all of those triggers before diving in.

Tanya, your creativity is next level.

Tanya Lynn has done it again, and I’m completely hooked! This dazzling romance thing she’s spun is nothing like what you’d expect when you pick it up — it’s playful, daring, and so full of heart. Blown By The Bouquet is pure HEA magic you didn’t even realise you were craving, and just in time for Valentine’s Day! I absolutely adore how she flipped the script this time, giving the cursed object a fiercely female twist — it’s fresh, bold, and utterly captivating. Do yourself a favour and check those trigger warnings, because this spicy little number might not be everyone’s cuppa, but wow, it’s an exhilarating, passion-filled ride. Trust me, it’s a fun, fiery read you won’t forget!

I received this as an arc and absolutely loved this little novella. I have read the other cursed objects from the enchanted shop and this one was just as great as the other short stories.

This one follows Declan & Oleander. Declan needs a job and starts his job at the Enchanted shop and Oleander is a beautiful cursed bouquet. A Valentine’s Storm comes and they find themselves in the cabin sharing some spicy moments before returning home. There was some funny banter and spicy 🌶️ scenes are hot!!

Definitely would recommend reading this short novella and the other enchanted objects that are before this one.

What in the Flowers...?

Blown by the Bouquet is a funny, quick sentient object romance that had me laughing multiple times throughout. Oleander is our FMC who is what? Yes, cursed to be a bouquet of flowers until someone comes along who truly loves her to break the curse. Declan is our MMC who is a shallow man looking for his idea of beauty in a woman. He happens upon Oleander and hilarity (and spice) ensues. My fave part? The moment Oleander notices Declan's height and he proclaims he's "a short king!" with all the pride he could muster. This was a fun, crazy read and I enjoyed the ridiculousness.

ARC read!

A fun, hot, novella!

What do you do when you're cursed?
Well, you patiently wait until someone helps you break it!

Declan is a short king, that likes his women to be a certain way.
He's cute and the ladies notice him, but often times he doesn't like what they have to offer.
Whatever it is he's looking for, he hasn't been able to find.

Oleander has been cursed.
She's been turned into a bouquet.
And after hundreds of years, in flower form, when she sees Declan, she's thirsty all right?!?

I was kindly sent an advanced copy of this book by the author, but this review reflects my honest opinion.

The Queen of Cursed/Sentient objects strikes again! 💐😍

I loved the different type of dynamics the FMC and MMC had. The feminine dominate and the short king submissive to her was a nice change. The fact that he switched to being so kind and caring even after she “poofed” *no spoilers! (Gotta read it to get that part hehe)… made my heart swell. That’s how you knew he was all in.

The characters growing into their “roles” was beautifully done & the story finished wonderfully

I wouldn’t expect anything less from Tanya. Super fun. The short king gets a lesson from his flower goddess. True love wins out, with a lot of kinks along the way!

If you’re looking for a short, spicy, kinky, hilarious cursed object romance this is it! She’s a woman cursed by a king to live forever cursed as a bouquet of flowers, and he’s a self proclaimed short king with an insufferable ego.

When he takes the bouquet home for the weekend, things change, and there’s nowhere to go.
