About the author

Cheryl R. Lane is the author of the historical romance Wellington Cross and Wellington Patriot Series, as well as a modern-day romantasy Angel Series. She has been self-publishing her books since December 2012. Her book, Sunrise Kisses, was a finalist in the 2018 Golden Quill Award Contest sponsored by Golden Box Books Publishing. She grew up in East Tennessee and moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia, after she married her high-school sweetheart. They have one adult son who lives in sunny Florida. She enjoys gardening, walking, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

I loved this book. Yvette is a veterinarian. She's divorced and dealing with her ex husband, Tate, who has been quite awful to her. Tate is living with the woman that he cheated on Yvette with. Yvette has been seeing Clayton, an assistant US attorney who informs Yvette that they're investigating Tate (an OBGYN dr). Then Tate gets into a car accident and loses his memory. When Tate wakes up he's drawn to Yvette. Now he's so sweet to her and she's falling for him again. They spend Christmas together with their 2 kids and then be gets his memory back, everything starts falling apart. Will he go back with Laney, will he be arrested and will he go back to being that awful guy he was before? The author also has many of the characters from the previous books. Dillon and Brook continue their story. Dillon was a guardian angel who took over the real Dillon's body when he died. The old Dillon was involved in dealing guns with some bad guys. Now Angel Dillon is threaten by Mad Hatter to hurt Brook unless he does what they want. Brook finds out she's pregnant and they soon get married. After Mad Hatter attacks Dillon he goes to Skylar, an FBI agent and tells him everything. Brook discovers what is going on and is quite upset about Dillon lying to her. This book is about love, and falling back in love. It has a lot of suspense. (oh and find out who will take a bullet for someone they love.) Can love get them through?

This book and it’s wonderful characters stole my heart as I read of their struggles, triumphs, forgiveness, strengths and making amends. Single mom and veterinarian Yvette Hepler, is struggling with the love she still holds for Tate, her ex-husband. Secrets and bad choices could continue to keep them apart. Young couple Brook and Dillion are just starting their life together, but the past has a way of resurfacing at the wrong time , threatening everything they have overcome.
This book is full of intrigue and surprises, with character guest appearances from the past. I love that the character's ancestors are a part of the story and that Angels are always watching over them, with specific reasons

Beach House Memories is another win for Cheryl Lane. Second chances and more. Yvette still loves her ex husband, Tate, but after cheating on her, she can't take the chance of another broken heart. A serious accident could be the beginning of something new. Familiar characters are also back, some struggling with new problems, but having faith and great friends will help. Having a guardian angel, helps too. I love how the author keeps the characters we met in earlier books in the Angel series, immersed in the book. I hope the series continues.

I am an ARC reader. Beach House Memories is the latest book in the Angel series. Yvette Hepler and her ex-husband Tate are brought together as she helps him recover from an accident. Being in the same house again opens the door, so to speak, for them to make amends and begin to find healing from the hurts of the past.
We met Brooke and Dillon earlier in the series, and they are back - newly married and a baby on the way. But the past is following, and endangers this young family. Will they be able to get away from the danger? Read Beach House Memories and find out! 😁
