Oh my gosh, this was such a beautiful, cozy, and fun story!

Allegra is a hardworking lawyer whose entire life revolves around making partner. Until she doesn’t get it. Instead, her world is turned upside down when she inherits her grandmother’s home in Tuscany. There’s just one catch: she has to live there for three months before the inheritance is officially hers. It quickly becomes clear that her grandmother’s final wish wasn’t just to leave her a house, it was to teach her how to slow down and truly live.

Watching Allegra settle into Tuscany was one of my favorite parts of the book. The setting was absolutely gorgeous, and it made me want to pack my bags immediately. Then there’s Matteo…and let me just say, Italian men really do it better. 😍 The chemistry between these two was effortless, and I loved watching their relationship unfold.

This story is filled with wit, grief, personal growth, love, family, and friendship. It had me smiling, swooning, and appreciating the reminder that sometimes the life we plan isn’t the life we’re meant to have.

If you’re looking for a heartwarming romance with gorgeous fall vibes, a dreamy Italian setting, and characters you’ll want to spend time with, definitely pick this one up. It’s the perfect book to curl up with on a crisp fall day.

Well, I have a new favorite Vi book. Which I knew I would the moment I heard about The Fall Affair, as well as who was narrating the audiobook. I'm a sucker for accents in an audiobook, especially when they are done well. I have to say, Andi Arndt and Connor Crais just blew me away with their Italian accents in this story. There were so many times I truly forgot Connor wasn't an Italian voice actor speaking some English, he was just that impressive. This was the first time I have heard him do an Italian accent and I really hope I get to hear him do this one again. I also want to say that there were times I could truly envision that I was there in Tuscany (and I really wish I was).

Allegra is an attorney who has been working way too hard for way too long. She was hoping to make partner this time around but was unfortunately passed over due to things another attorney was doing that Allegra would never do. So, on a drunken whim, she quit. Then she finds out she must travel to Tuscany to settle her grandmother's estate. Which she thinks shouldn't take long and then she can get back to the grind that is attorney life. But when she finds out that she must stay in Tuscany, life and work in her grandmother's home and shop for three months, things are much different. She also wasn't expecting the burly neighbor, Matteo.

Matteo is always helping anyone and everyone, especially Sophia, Allegra's grandmother. He also leases the land for his vineyard. Matteo's life hasn't gone as he had planned, but he's making the best of it. He's drawn to Allegra, but he knows she isn't staying around so he's fighting as hard as he can to stay away from her and not fall for her. Too bad she is making that next to impossible.

I can't say enough how much I loved this story. I truly wanted to start listening to it again as soon as I finished it. Allegra and Matteo's story was something so special and beautiful and I just couldn't get enough. Matteo loved so hard and even though the thought of moving to New York was hard for him, he was willing to consider it for Allegra. Which just made me love him even more. And now I want to take a trip to Tuscany. Thank you Vi for writing such a wonderful story and choosing the perfect narrators for this story.

The fall affair is a remarkable story. Filled with sizzling chemistry, witty banter, heartfelt moments. Secrets buried long ago come to light. This was such an addictive romance that had me hooked from the first page, I was unable to put it down. I read it in one session. I absolutely loved it.

Allegra is a divorce lawyer, working too many hours trying to climb to the top & make partner.
She’s seen the worst of relationships & been hurt before so she’s solely focused on her career.
When she’s passed up for someone far inferior she quits.

This comes at a perfect time as she has to spend three months in Tuscany, closing her grandmother’s (Nonna’s) home & business after she’s passed away.

Allegra spent every summer in Tuscany growing up, her parents would come to visit for a few weeks, she loved spending time with her Nonna & would end up staying for the entire summer so she has very fond memories of her time there.

Allegra’s first encounter with her new (very sexy Italian) neighbour Matteo was hilarious. He loans land from Allegra’s Nonna so inevitably they run into each other & spend more time together.

Their journey is filled with witty banter, sizzling tension & heartfelt moments that kept me hooked.

Matteo was the complete package, he’s kind, humble & unapologetically romantic. He’s a little mysterious who is also carrying his own heartbreak.

Vi Keeland has given us a truly beautiful love story. I adored Allegra & Matteo's story. I just couldn't get enough.

This story is more than a typical romance, although it delivers this perfectly. It was also about family, secrets, grief, trying to find your place in the world, Questioning, what makes a life happy, fulfilling & meaningful.
Nonna also has a strong presence throughout the book, despite her passing. I adored the letters that would arrive. They brought a smile, a tear to my eye & a lump in my throat in equal measure.

I honestly can’t recommend The Fall affair highly enough. You could almost feel the Tuscan sun on your body or feel breeze in your hair, I felt transported to Italy whilst reading this incredible book.

Summary: The FMC is Allegra. She works as a divorce attorney for a busy practice in NYC, leaving very little time to just relax and enjoy life. When she is passed up as partner, something she was expecting, she quits her job. Just as that is happening, she is notified by the lawyer handling her late grandmother’s (nonna) estate in Italy that he needs to discuss something with her. She is informed her nonna left her everything, including land and an antique store, but there is a condition. She must live there for three months before she will receive it in her name. Since she doesn’t have a job anymore, she uses this as an opportunity to get some space from the city and figure out her next step.

Immediately she meets the MMC Matteo, as he was the neighbor to her nonna. Straight away, he begins to be a big help to her, all while sharing funny and endearing stories of the time he spent with her nonna. Through these stories as well as letters her nonna left her anticipating for her death, Allegra begins to feel connected to this place that once held a very special place in her heart. She also begins to get closer to Matteo, the more time they spend together, but is hesitant to explore a romantic relationship given she’s only there for a short time.

She has other reservations regarding romance as well, because of trust issues, and Matteo is the same. He was once married and things did not end well, and all of the details of what happened with him are told in past perspective chapters.

Secrets and truths unfold as the story progresses, just as the main characters are getting both closer to each other, and trying to push each other away, leading to a point where the FMC must make a decision of what she wants to do. The question is will she use her head or her heart to make the choice?

Final thoughts: What a treat this book was. It had me from the get go. First with all the angst and drama surrounding Allegra’s work. That was fun to learn about. But the part that had me feeling so connected was Allegra going back to Italy and her stories and memories with and about her nonna. I was raised by my grandmother so all of that was even more meaningful for me.

The setting for this book was perfect and helped to build the story in a way to allow an even deeper connection to the characters. This place helped the FMC become the person she was, either through the lived experiences she had when visiting her nonna or just simply it being where her family came from. There were times it felt like I was really there which is a testament to the author’s writing the scenery.

The MMC was a wonderful character who was kind and generous as he worked through his own grief and hurtful past. He was exactly what the FMC needed. I also loved all the secondary characters, and they added humor and important dialogue that helped build the story. I listened to this on audiobook and thought the narrators were fantastic. The male narrator was perfect as an Italian male, with the accent and using the language at certain times.

Overall this book had everything you would want. It was sweet, funny, romantic, endearing, and that last letter at the end from Allegra’s nonna was the perfect ending to this beautiful romance.

When Tuscany Feels Like Home

Somewhere between the rolling vineyards, the warmth of Tuscany and one unforgettable Italian man, I completely lost my heart.

This book gave me ALL the feels. From the very first page, I was swept away to Tuscany and completely invested in Allegra and Matteo’s story.

The tension between these two was EVERYTHING. Their chemistry was undeniable and I loved watching two people with such different lives slowly become something so deep, authentic and beautiful. They were opposites in so many ways, yet somehow fit together perfectly.

And when Allegra finally decides to take a chance on love… MY HEART. Watching her learn to slow down, let go of the life she thought she wanted, and open herself to something completely unexpected was incredibly moving.

And Matteo… THIS MAN. Bellissimo.
His charm, devotion to his family and grounded nature made him impossible not to fall for. But the way he loves Allegra? Something truly special. Steady, patient, genuine and all-encompassing.

And the spice? Between these two? Bollente!

I also loved the emotional thread involving Allegra’s grandmother. The letters, the tea set, and a secret that changed everything added such beautiful depth to her journey. Watching Allegra handle the unexpected with grace and an open heart was such a beautiful reflection of her growth.

And Tuscany itself? Absolutely magical. The small-town warmth, heartfelt friendships, and welcoming community made this story feel like a place I never wanted to leave.

And the romance between Allegra and Matteo? It left a lasting impression. Their story wasn’t just about falling in love…it was about finding yourself while learning to let someone else in.

This was a beautiful blend of self-discovery, healing, love, friendship and finding where you belong. Sometimes the life we think we’re supposed to have isn’t the one that will truly make us happy.

Connor Crais and Andi Arndt were simply outstanding. They brought Matteo and Allegra to life in a way that made every emotion even more vivid. Their performances captured the tenderness, vulnerability, humor, chemistry and heart of this story perfectly.

And come on… Connor Crais with an Italian accent🫦

I was already hooked the second I saw he was narrating, but that accent?! Mamma mia…I could have listened to Matteo talk all day.

Vi Keeland continues to impress me with every story she tells. She has this incredible ability to create characters that stay with you, romances that make you experience every emotion and stories that linger long after you’ve finished them.

This one wrapped itself around my heart and made Tuscany feel like somewhere I desperately wanted to visit.

I started this audiobook during my commute thinking it would be an easy summer romance to keep me company on the drive. Instead, I found myself sitting in my driveway long after I got home because I wasn’t ready to leave Tuscany—or Allegra and Matteo.

Allegra immediately felt real to me. She’s spent years chasing the next promotion, measuring success by long hours and impossible expectations, only to have everything she’d planned disappear in an instant. Watching her reluctantly trade New York City for her late Nonna’s little corner of Tuscany was like watching someone slowly remember how to breathe again.

And then there’s Matteo.

Can we all agree that emotionally mature men who make wine, cook dinner, fix just about anything, and somehow still manage to be humble should probably be protected at all costs? Matteo completely stole this story for me. He’s patient without being a pushover, romantic without trying too hard, and carries his own heartbreak with such quiet grace that I couldn’t help falling for him right alongside Allegra.

What surprised me most wasn’t the romance—although it absolutely delivered—but how much this story became about family, legacy, grief, and figuring out what actually makes a life meaningful. Nonna’s presence lingers through every page, and her love for both her family and her community gives the entire novel its heart. More than once I caught myself smiling…and yes, I definitely teared up before the ending.

The audiobook made everything even richer. Andi Arndt captured Allegra’s determination, vulnerability, and humor beautifully, while Connor Crais absolutely melted me as Matteo. That Italian accent? Let’s just say if he offered me a glass of wine and a vineyard tour, I’d probably cancel my return flight too. Their duet-style performance made every conversation feel intimate and incredibly believable.

If you love opposites attract, breathtaking Italian settings, charming small-town communities, found family, emotional healing, and romances that balance laughter with heartfelt moments, don’t let this one pass you by. It’s warm, hopeful, wonderfully romantic, and quietly reminds us that success doesn’t always look the way we imagined.

Visiting Italy has always been at the top of my bucket list, and reading The Fall Affair just ramped up my desire to finally visit such a beautiful country. Allegra and Matteo's story is a heartwarming story of two people who would probably have never met under normal circumstances but once they do, it was inevitable that these two would find a beautiful happily ever after.

When Allegra's beloved Italian grandmother passes away, she leaves everything in her will to Allegra with the stipulation that she stay in Tuscany and work in her store for three months, which works out perfectly for Allegra since she just quit her job after being passed up for partner at the law firm she worked for. I loved watching Allegra fall in love with Italy and the small town of Montepulciano. It didn't hurt that a gorgeous Italian hottie lived right next door because he leased land from Allegra's Nonna.

Matteo was the whole package! Gorgeous, Italian, a handyman, an all-around gentleman, a good cook and did I mention he owns a winery? Right from the beginning he was ready and willing to help Allegra with everything. Initially she drove me a little crazy with trying to be too independent. In one of the first scenes, she tells Matteo how long it took her just to get there, and all the mishaps along the way, and when he tries to carry a suitcase for her, she was immediately, "I can carry my own suitcase," and I was like, "girl, you just complained how tired you are, let the hot Italian man carry your suitcase, and walk behind him so you can admire his amazing derriere." LOL

Allegra and Matteo had several bumps along the way on the path to their happily ever after, and the scenes from Matteo's past really helped to showcase why he had the fears he had, but ultimately these two realized how important it was to grab onto the love they had for each other, and everything else would fall into place.

What made this book so emotional also were the letters Allegra, and Matteo, received from Nonna along the way. With just about every letter, I was left in tears and felt so sad that I had never met this amazing woman. Then I remembered she's a fictional character! But that's how real she felt to me. I loved the whole cast of secondary characters; they really rounded out the story. I was happy to see that Allegra finally learned to slow down and appreciate each day and all of the gifts she had, which was ultimately Nonna's wish for her. And to fall in love with Matteo!

Hopefully one day I'll get to visit Italy, it sounds like such a magical place!

It's not necessary to read this book during summertime. But I'm happy I did. Why? Because this way it feels even more like a real vacation. I mean, Tuscany is so wonderful 🩷 At least what I've heard about and what I've seen on the internet or TV. It's a shame that as a European, I never visited it, yet 🙈
But that's what I love about reading, I can visit the whole world through the books I read 😁

Matteo is what I instantly have in mind when I think about Italian men. 🔥 and fiery. With all the temperament. This guy knows what he wants and takes it 🥵

If you know me, you know I'm a sucker for older side characters. Unfortunately, Allegra's nonna died, but this woman can't even stop that. She's still the Italian grandma 🤣 I loved her so much.

I know Allegra had a really good life in New York, but girl, you got the jackpot with your inheritance! I wouldn't think for just a second. I would pack all my stuff in a nano second to live in Tuscany forever 🥰 But this is a book, so obviously they have a hard time finding out what they really want. And yes, I love that in books. Maybe it's also a me thing that I'm just super open to such kinds of changes without needing to think about it 🤷‍♀️

So if you want to have a little vacation in Tuscany, on a wonderful vineyard, with a 🔥 Italian man, don't wait and grab this book. You won't regret it. There are a few secrets that blew my mind 🤯

I do not have enough words to express how much I absolutely adored this bellissimo story! It had everything a romance should have and so much more! Vi Keeland has done it again taking me on such an emotional ride I did not want to get off. Tears, laughter, swooning: the whole range.

When we first meet Allegra, it is easy to see that she is career driven and has one goal, to be a partner at her law firm. When things don’t go according to plan and she receives a letter from an attorney in Italy about her late grandmother’s estate, she soon finds herself in Tuscany for what she thinks will only be a three month stay. A way for her to recharge.
But things have a way of not going exactly according to plan. From the jump I fell in love with Matteo. He goes from finding her stranded on the side of the road to realizing she is his new neighbor. The stories he tells of his time spent with her Nonna are so sweet and heartwarming. And the flashbacks of his life with his first love go a long way in explaining who he is as a man today.
It’s not all wine and roses as there has to be some conflict to make it such a great love story!
I don’t want to say much more because honestly this book needs to be experienced first hand, and might I recommend listening to it as Connor Crais as Matteo and Andi Arndt as Allegra in duet narration are absolute FIRE! Connor is always a fave of mine, but with an Italian accent and speaking Italian too, ooo la la. And Andi, who is one of my fave female narrators, when she is playing other characters in the story speaks Italian beautifully as well. It’s lovely to listen to both of them.
Just read it or listen to it, you will be so happy you did!

Vi has done it again. I've fallen in love with a new book boyfriend and his names Matteo. I know I say this every single time I read a new Vi Keeland book but I just can't help falling in love with the them.

I loved this story so so much. Matteo *swoons* he was everything and so much more. He was oh so swoony, kind, sweet, caring and damn when it got to the bedroom scenes I was blushing.
I loved Allegra she was so much fun and even though she was deemed a workaholic she certainly loosened up when she was in Italy and she was so much fun. I loved Nonna too and the things that Allegra found out that she used to get up to were hilarious.

I swooned oh so much, laughed alot, kicked my feet with excitement, got teary at certain parts, cried sad and then happy tears.


In the beginning we're in New York and Allegra who's hoping to make partner at her law firm. But when she doesn't get it because the only woman who made partner was sleeping with one of the founding members Allegra ends up drunk and loses it on the founding member who was sleeping with the woman who got the job and she says I quit!!!

Allegra receives news that her nonna/grandmother who's from Italy has passed away and she's been left everything in the will. But there's a stipulation.... before she can receive the inheritance she has to go over to Tuscany, Italy and stay for three months. Then and only then she'll receive everything.

And all of this is only in the first 3 chapters haha.

I really enjoy Vi Keeland and I enjoyed this one. Allegra's grandmother has died and left her some property in Italy. It works out because she is having issues at her job so she goes to Italy for 3 months to figure out her life. She meets the cute neighbor, Matteo. He is a winemaker and the handyman around town. She has been hurt in the past and so has Matteo so they are both scared to have a relationship. She wants to just have a fling, but Matteo would want more than that, not just a fling. But she might be leaving. He is a small town guy so he doesn't know if he could make it in New York City, but that is where her life is. Even more complications come into play but I liked Matteo being a gentleman and wanting to take her out. Obviously this is a fast fall because it all happens in a short amount of time and I did have to suspend disbelief for some parts, but overall it was a sweet romance.

Buckle up readers because this romance book is about to become your next reading obsession!

I mean...where do I even start? There were so many things that I absolutely loved about this book that I did not want to put it down. I feel like every component that I could possibly want in a summer romance book was there: Traveling, beautiful friendships, a hot and freaky gentleman that sweeps you off your feet, drama, emotional aspects that will make you tear up, a positive older role model that wants the best for Allegra (her grandma who is a MVP), and important lessons/advice that make you think about life in a different way.

One thing that I definitely wanted to highlight was the way that Vi Keeland built up this story and made it flow so nicely! There is a lot that happens in this book for both Allegra, our female main character, and Matteo, Allegra's love interest and male main character, but I never once felt frustrated with the way that the events were unfolding because everything had a reason. Not only are we learning about Allegra, but we also get to know a lot about Matteo, which made me appreciate their relationship so much more. There is so much more to say about this book, but one thing for certain is that I honestly feel like you would be missing out if you don't grab a copy of this book.

After reading The Fall Affair by Vi Keeland, my passport started to twitch. I wanted to pack my bags and book a flight to Italy. No joke, I just got back last night. I never wanted this story to end - - just like I never wanted my vacation.

On my trip, I felt like stepping right back into this story. I found myself hunting for teacups (you’ll understand once you read it), craving olives and vino, and keeping an eye out for a Matteo look-alike.

Somehow, Vi creates characters I can’t help but fall in love with every single time. Allegra and Matteo stole my heart, and I found myself rooting for them from the very beginning. Their chemistry is equal parts sweet, saucy, hilarious, and downright delicious. I dare you not to fall for my new book boyfriend, Matteo.

I can’t write this review without mentioning Nonna’s letters to Allegra. They felt like little love notes from the past, filled with wisdom, hope, laugh-out-loud humor, and just enough Italian folklore to make me miss my own Nonna in a big way. With every letter, Allegra came one step closer to discovering who she was meant to be.

If you’re looking for witty banter, unforgettable characters, and a romance that will have you searching for flights to Tuscany before you finish the last chapter, The Fall Affair absolutely delivers.

Vi reminded me exactly why she’s one of my few auto-buy authors. This book is on my Best of 2026 romance book list.

Ok, this one got me. As a rule, if a book makes me cry, I have to say it's five stars as I am invested enough to actually cry. Allegra and Matteo managed this twice, so it's more than safe to say this one worked for me.

I loved so much about it. I loved the setting. I loved Matteo so much. How strong he was, how sure he was of her, how certain he was that they were more than a fling, even though he lived in Italy and she lived in New York City. I loved how willing he was to find a way, even when she was sure that it wouldn't ever work. And, I loved the way they author dealt with him questioning how certain he was about her, as it fit perfectly with him.

Italy is a character in this story, along with the town and the friends of Allegra's Nonna. All of them are interwoven so well into the story that you always feel like they both give you insight but also move the story along.

I didn't want to put this one down, I wanted to sneak away from work tasks to read, but I didn't want to do this story a disservice. This book is one that you want to read when you can focus and lose yourself in the story.

And, beware of the ending. It's perfection, without ruining it, and if you are like me, you are going to need a tissue as even though I was expecting it, it was still just perfect.

A spicy Hallmark Channel movie in romcom form, this book was a slower-paced read. The stakes in this book are low and it's great as a laidback Sunday afternoon or beach read. After her career was derailed, Allegra used handling her late grandmother's Italian estate as an excuse to take a breather from her stressful life. She met her neighbor and the biggest green flag, Matteo, whose biggest flaws were stability, unwavering loyalty, and the inability to turn down anyone who needed his help. The third act breakup isn't true miscommunication but more like lack of communication. Both MCs and side characters are likable. There isn't a lot of character development but packs lots of feel-good vibes and sweet, all-around HEA.

The narrators did an excellent job on the audiobook. The only thing is the male narrator sounded a little stiff at times compared to his other works, which could be because he was focusing on keeping his Italian accent consistent. I still highly recommend the audiobook! There were definitely portions of the audiobook that I bookmarked to listen to over and over again (read: Italian sweet talk and spicy talk).

This is the perfect end of Summer Romance set in the perfect romance setting—Tuscany!
After quitting her job and needing much escape from New York, Allegra’s heads to Tuscany to handle her Italian Grandmother’s estate.
She’s left everything to her under the stipulation that she stays in Tuscany for 3 months.
Enter Matteo Lucchese- the handsome winemaker neighbor. He’s rugged, stubborn, and totally old fashioned, and the exact opposite of Allegra- she’s always in a hurry while the word rush isn’t part of Matteo’s vocabulary. After spending time with Matteo, she’s beginning to see the appeal of slowing down, staying rooted in one place, and wanting something other than climbing the corporate ladder! The longer she stays, she’s finding it harder to want to leave once her 3 months are up!
I loved everything about this book! The letters from Nonna, the back and forth from the present to Matteo’s past, Nonna’s mysterious tea collection, the antique shop, and another surprise Allegra doesn’t see coming! So much going on and get ready for all the feels! I couldn’t put this down!
I finished in 3 days! I listened to the audiobook and the narrators did such a good job bringing this story to life! 5+ stars for me!!

Matteo Lucchese. Enter swoony MMC who cooks for you, makes his own wine, and gives you emotional space when you need it. SAY LESS! Loved seeing Matteo come into this own, learn to trust and love again, and most importantly be at peace with himself and his future with Allegra.


Nonna Sophia's letters 🥹🥹 STOP! I'm not crying, you're crying. Loved how despite her being physically gone, her spirit remains steadfast throughout the story.

I always know when I read a book from Vi Keeland I am going to fall in love. Her books captivate me. The Fall Affair just jumped to my favorite book!
I loved this book from start to finish. The story takes place in Tuscany, Italy. Allegra has gone to tend to her grandmother’s estate after her passing. She is a lawyer, a workaholic, not lucky in love or relationships. She doesn’t trust easily. Matteo lives next door, owns a winery and also doesn’t give his heart easily. The two become friends, but have an attraction. They are both afraid of giving in to their feelings, long term. Matteo hasn’t fully healed from his prior relationship.
The story alternates with stories from Matteo’s past to learn why his heart is fragile. Allegra uncovers a past and present that changes her views on everything she thought she knew.
I just loved how this story unfolded and the characters developed.
I couldn’t put this book down. I truly loved every word. It has love, healing, passion and above all else family.

ARC/ALC REVIEW

I feel like I’ve watched several romance movies about an American who falls in love with an Italian man, but this is my first time reading one. Vi Keeland has always been a comfort author for me so when I heard about this release I was so excited for it!

It has everything I love about her books. Sweet romance, at least one MC dealing with something heavy, and of course some type of twist. I really enjoyed the romance between Allegra and Matteo and how her grandmother brought them together.

Although I’ve never been, this story had me visualizing Italy and wanting to go even more.

Andi Arndt is my OG favorite female narrator because of Vi Keeland’s stories so I will never turn down something she narrates, and Connor Crais was great as Matteo with his Italian accent! I enjoyed the story and only wished it was longer!

Vi did it again! ❤️ Matteo & Allegra’s story had everything I love…chemistry, emotion, family, a little bit of fate, and plenty of swoon.🥰

I really loved watching Allegra’s life change in ways she never expected and seeing her relationship with Matteo grow along the way. Their story had that perfect mix of romance and heart & a little heart ache.

Connor Crais & Andi Arndt were fantastic as Matteo & Allegra. Y’all…ITALIAN ACCENT CONNOR CRAIS. 🫠❤️🎧 I mean, what more needs to be said?! He absolutely brought Matteo to life, and Andi was wonderful as Allegra. These two made an already great story even better.🤩

Ooof! Vi got me right in the feels with that epilogue. 😭❤️ It was such a beautiful way to bring Matteo & Allegra’s story full circle.🥹

One of my favorite thoughts from the book was that real love isn’t about being fearless…it’s choosing to stay even when you’re afraid. ❤️

What a brilliant audiobook!

The Fall Affair by Vi Keeland .



I laughed, I cried, and I couldn’t stop listening to this beautiful audiobook! Connor Crais and Andi Arndt were absolutely fantastic and brought every emotion to life.

Set in the stunning Tuscan countryside, the story follows Allegra as she travels to Italy to settle her grandmother’s estate. She doesn’t trust easily, and neither does her neighbor Matteo, a winery owner still carrying the scars of a past relationship. Their friendship slowly grows into something more, but both are afraid to take the next step.

The story weaves between the present and Matteo’s past, revealing why his heart is so guarded, while Allegra uncovers family who I secrets that change everything she thought she knew.

I loved watching this story unfold. It has romance, mystery, family secrets, and a wonderful cast of characters. From start to finish, I was completely invested and highly recommend both the book and the audiobook.

The Fall Affair is a wonderful, intriguing story. It is full of surprises, secrets and of course, romance.
Allegra Bianchi travels to Italy after her grandmother passes away. The will has some stipulations and Allegra has to navigate her new life as it where. Meeting Matteo though, who knew her grandmother, makes her life more interesting. Oh yes.
The sizzling chemistry that bubbles to the surface between them, is difficult to ignore, however Allegra is undoubtedly undecided about her future. I mean, who could blame her.
I really loved Matteo, he’s caring, charming but also guarded.
I feel like, throw in the Italian countryside, the slower pace of life, a hot Italian man
and certain things Allegra finds out, should be a no brainer, however she does have to make some decisions. Will she choose wisely, taking everything into consideration and throw caution to the wind or go back to her life in New York?
I have to say though, my heart belongs in Italy now….
I loved how the storyline unfolded and especially how it ended. Well done!

When Allegra Bianchi gets an eyeful at work she decides to get away from the chaos of her life in NY and go to Italy where her nonna left her an inheritance...and a rundown house. The beginning of her trip was also a slight disaster but a friendly Italian helped her out. Now in Tuscany cleaning out her grandmother’s estate & land she finds out that friendly Italian is also her new neighbor and tenant, Matteo Lucchese. Will he be happy an American is there to change things up? Maybe a friend is just what she needs of the Italian variety! What a beautiful and sweet romance about slowing down in life and seeing what really matters. I loved how adorable Matteo is and perfect for Allegra. Don’t worry there is also a little emotional side with their stories too. The Italian background in itself is also a lovely character. Told in first person and dual POV.

I am speechless due to the emotion. Yes! I had tears.

I was lucky enough to listen and read this book but Connor Crais and Andi Arndt bought this book to life. Bellissimo

Listening to these narrators it felt like you were in Tuscany with them. From learning to ride a Vespa to the winding roads to Amalfi Coast and the charm of the antique store you knew you were immersed into something special.

I really enjoyed Allegra and Matteo’s story. I chuckled when I heard the name of Allegra’s cat (big fan).

When you hear words from a once wise women you will be in tears with laughter or tears of emotion.

Like I said I am speechless but you certainly will love the Vespa ride to love and found family.

Fantastic! I absolutely loved Matteo and Allegra, and Nonna was hysterical even beyond the grave. Both Matteo and Allegra are carrying heartache from their pasts. Allegra was overlooked for partner at her law firm, realized exactly why, and quit. After her Nonna passed, her will required Allegra to spend three months in Tuscany, which ended up being the break she truly needed.

While settling into her Nonna’s home, she meets Matteo, a winemaker. Both of them have trust issues, and neither is looking for a relationship—especially knowing Allegra will eventually return to New York. But as they spend more time together, they grow closer and can’t help but enjoy each other’s company.

Everything about Matteo was swoon worthy. The way he treats Allegra—so caring, thoughtful, and attentive—makes him impossible not to love. A wonderful read. Highly recommend; you won’t be disappointed.
