Gripping Whodunit!

A thoroughly gripping and enjoyable read with twists and turns and jaw dropping surprises! Just when you think you know, you realize that maybe you don't. Excellent storyline that grabs your attention more and more with each page turn. Don't let the Cajun dialect throw you because that's how it is in Crowley, Louisiana. The meat and potatoes of this story; murder and intrigue. A Sheriff who is up for re-election, a festival underway and a horrific murder threatening both. A detective who is still mourning the loss of his wife but is laser focused on solving this case. A department trying its best to keep everything underwraps so as not to send the citizens into a panic and work the case. Could this be the beginning of a serial killer or is this a psychopath who murdered a girlfriend? You need to read this book to find out. Expect to pick up your page turning speed as you delve into this story that has as many twists and turns as a Louisiana backroad! Thoroughly enjoyable read that I highly recommend. Looking forward to continuing this ride with the next book.

Good read!

Compelling read! As a Cajun, I think there is an over abundance of Cajun slangs throughout the novel. Besides that, the novel’s ending, leaving you in limbo, compells you to read next novel!
