Rate this book
Think about living a life of no stress. No anxiety. No fear. Is it an impossible dream, an unreachable fantasy? Or... can it be achieved? And can YOU achieve it?

Our Sages' clear answer to these life-transforming questions is: Yes. You can live a life of tranquility, serenity and happiness, no matter what is happening around you.

What it takes is emunah, faith. Faith in Hashem and His goodness, belief that He cares for you, knows what is best for you and is completely involved in your life. If you believe that totally - you're on the path to emunah, the road that leads to real happiness.

Living Emunah is based on Rabbi David Ashear's "Daily Emunah" talks, which has transformed the lives of thousands of people. Through the classic lens of Torah thought as well as true-life stories we discover what emunah is and what it isn't, how to strengthen our faith, and how to bring it into our homes, offices, and lives. Each selection is short, readable, and infinitely wise.

As you make your way on the path to emunah be prepared to lose your baggage - the baggage of tension, panic, regrets and angst. You'll feel lighter as you leave your troubles behind, embarking with confidence and joy on the journey of a lifetime - on the path to emunah.

This is an amazing, lifechanging book. It mostly strengthened what I already know but it's filled with great concepts and ideas that I loved to review! I enjoyed how it was broken down into chapters that made it easy to read one at a time, ideal for five minutes at the end of the day for constant reminders to strengthen my Emunah. The chapters start with a few paragraphs about a concept, and then a story, to demonstrate the concept.
There are probably new words and concepts for non-religious and/or non-Jewish readers here but I think they could manage it.
Overall, I feel this could enhance and even completely change anyone's life, as long as they're open to it.
Great, great, great book!

This has my highest recommendation. It is my go-to and favorite book after the Bible itself. To say it changed my life would be an understatement. It is the true secret to peace, calm, and happiness throughout all the ups and downs of life.

I have read each of his 5 books multiple times and have recently been enjoying his new Living Emunah on the Parshah. For the last 8 years, I generally start every day with a cup of coffee and Living Emunah and read a few of the short daily reads before I pray Shachris.

I believe this single book changed my life for the better in a bigger way than any other sefer or book I have ever read. I thank God for this sefer and I owe a lot to Rabbi Ashear and all those who had a part in its creation.

Inspirational Hebrew-infused book which provides brief accounts of people who have achieved greater tranquility and peace through trust in how life's challenges are for the good. The argument is compellingly written, and people who already have some degree of spirituality in their lives will find it helpful.

I adored this book! I found out about from a friend and knew I had to read it. It's best read as a devotional. This book has 134 stories about emunah, or faithfulness to G-d. This book is written from a Jewish perspective, but as a Messianic Jew I enjoyed it greatly and lived the stories about G-d's love & faithfulness.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! This is a must read!!!! This sefer is very beautiful and had a profound impact on me. It really changes the way you see things, and there is something more to gain from the lessons every time its re-read. It is well written, interesting, inspiring, and of course the lessons are for life!

This book is a bunch of short essays on the subject of emunah (faith). I thought it was a good read. A very important topic. Some sections are better than others. It's a very popular book among the religious community. I have heard a lot of the stories before in other lectures probably by people quoting the book so some of it was a repeat for me, however, it's nice to have the stories written down.
