This had to have been written by AI. Sloppy storytelling misaligned character connections and so bad I just stopped. Realized it was not the book I wanted to read by the same title. Be aware this is not the same book recommended by Goodreads

I’m sorry but I could not get through this book. I felt like I was dropped off in the middle of the worst episode of “Are You Afraid of the Dark”. Zero character development, disjointed careless story line (What attic are they in? Why did her professor randomly show up in her attic? Casey is in her dorm, then 5 chapters later Casey is in her apartment. What happened to her dorm? Where tf did Dorian come from?). Then there was the writing…

If this isn’t written by AI then someone is trying way too hard with a thesaurus in hand. It just became annoying and eventually unreadable.
