So many truths

Warning, the cliffhanger in this one is a hard one to read.

The story is evolving, the guilty party changes from day to day. Several got busted for doing things that brings danger to their door.

Two books to go, and I know I have no idea who the bad guy/ girl is. Great series tho.

Another great book in this series, hope you are reading along. It starts out with the son of the H driving himself, the h and his best friend home from the hospital. He is questioning the h about her life with his father and her early life after their divorce. He also asked questions about her daughter, including her age and begins to wonder if his father is the father of her daughter. He says nothing. The H and h continue their investigation into the events that continue to occur. One nice thing is that they decide to gather the people who have been involved in the events that are occurring and point by point list what has happened and to whom. It also gives a nice brief review for the reader. When they asked the assembled group if they had any more information to share with them they said they had no more information. Later as the H reveals to the h the podcast that he has found. After watching it she said that many people were presenting the information. After staying up all night working with the podcast they determined who the presenters were and then sent mysterious messages to all involved telling them to go to one of their friends house because she needed their help. They all arrived she and they are confused as to what is happening. The H and h then show up and are very angry because they just had asked them if they had any information to share and they all said no when indeed they had much to share. Then they all break up and go about carrying out their plans. A big freak storm then occurs without warning resulting in the h’s daughter being washed into the ocean and the man who loves her dives in to rescue her. And so this book ends. This book has the H and h tying details together only to find out that their son and daughter and their friends already had information that was vital to the investigation. Now we wait to see what else happens including how the people connect who have unvoiced feelings for each other. Hope you comes back for the rest of us story. Enjoy this book and all it has to share with us. Enjoy!

Is a sweet clean small town, second chance, later-in-life, family secrets romance with a touch of mystery and suspense.
One of the lines I really like --- “But it’s not like your days when you had to wire transfer money by stagecoach. We have this thing now called instant transfer through online banking.” ---
Who's behind the strange accidents happening? Who deliberately started the fire? Was it the same person who started the fires 10 years ago or a copycat? What's Victoria up to? Who ran Lacey off the road? What happened to the evidence from Lacey's accident? Who tried to kill Lacey and Margo? What's Dr. Vernon up to? Who started the fire at Margo's Cafe? Who abducted and tried to kill Dr. Vernon? Who does the bracelet belong to that was found under the stove after the fire? Who stole the safe from Sienna's home? Who's the Cat Burglar? Who sent the message from Margo's phone to Rad, Willa and Ace? Will Margo and Ace survive being in the water during a storm? Some will be answered and other questions will all be answered in books 5 or 6.
I loved June and Holt, Lucy and Tom, Lacey and Dean, Carmen and Zane, Margo and Rad's story and I'm sure you will too. I've loved everyone of her books that I've read and I can't wait to read Book 5.

Wow! So much is going on in this fourth book that grabs you from the first page and keeps you until the very end which makes you crazy because we are left with a very dangerous cliff hanger. June and Holt call Rad, Willa, Ace, Margo and even Mina together and find there were very important secrets kept by the group. How does it relate to the investigation? What have they figured out? Who is starting the fire and why does it seem Margo is a target and is June? So many threads to this mystery and just when you think you can tie a few together, you are wrong! What great writing. Then we are left with a very dangerous situation because Ace, Willa, Rad and Margo take a group of kids on a camping trip when a freak storm comes up and they're on an island. Can they get the kids to safety? Are they all safe or does the author add another bump in the story? And add to that and we have June and Holt getting closer together. Was there a little plan for that to happen? This series not only keeps you totally engaged, you crave the next book. I highly recommend the entire series and can't wait for book 5! Another well written addition to the Sandpaper Shores series. June and Holt keep investigating the mysterious incidents happening in Sandpaper Shores. The case keeps getting more curious as time goes by. June and Holt become closer and even share a kiss. They find out that some of the case principals have not been entirely forthcoming with them. What will happen with June and Holt's brewing romance and the case? Find out by reading this unputdownable book, which I highly recommend to other mystery/romance readers. Secrets of Sandpiper Shores, Book 4, finds June and Colt debriefing the "secret five" as to their truthful recall of the case. The investigation gathers another clue. Colt and June become closer, but she knows her secret must be revealed. Willa and Rad lead the kids on a problematic camping trip. This well written addition to the series has plot twists, secrets, strong emotions, danger, and a little romance.

Fantastic story!

This is a fantastic story in a phenomenal series.  So many angles emerge in an investigation being conducted by friends into events that happened a decade ago and those currently happening. The story is absolutely captivating.  I can't wait to read the next books in this series.  I highly recommend this book, series and author to others.

Just when you think Holt and June have it all figured out, you are given missing pieces to the puzzle. The intrigue and suspense continue to grow! As usual, Rafferty ends this book with another cliffhanger. Rafferty has created characters that we have come to love and balanced them with the perfect surroundings for this installment of Sandpiper Shores. This episode in the Sandpiper story has a lot of twists. First, a safe is literally ripped out of a wall and hauled off. What’s in it??? Then, Holt and June call a meeting of those trying to solve the mystery of the fires and other incidents to figure out what each one knows. Then, Ace, Willa, Rad and Margo take the teens on a camping trip when a freak storm comes up and ...

Did they all survive? Did anyone get hurt? Who took the safe and why? I guess we have to wait for the next book.

The plot continues to thicken. With family and friends injured and in the hospital, more people are viewed as threats. Holt and June spend time working together trying to untangle the mysteries. Avatars hosting a podcast have more secrets brought to light, increasing the danger.

Wow! So much is going on here, I have to catalogue the incidents for future reference. It is exciting, blood curdling, terrifying and it make me so anxious to proceed to the next event! We are left with a dire event, until the next edition. Waiting is building the anxiety more each day. What a thrilling story!

This town is full of secrets. Holt & June get the secret five together and ask for everyone to tell the truth secrets are still kept. Mina has convinced Holt & June to go on an actual date. June knows she’s kept her secret long enough but will she be able to tell Holt the truth? Then there’s a storm and Willa is involved. How do they handle this situation?

Another captivating book in this series! Totally engaging throughout. When Holt asks for the truth to be told, he soon discovers that many secrets are kept, even by family. The investigation is getting wider, more people are involved and potentially in danger. It is not entirely obvious where this story is going. Looking forward to the next book, which is the penultimate. Highly recommend

The mysteries continue and keep getting more tangled together.
The "Secret 5" are set-up by June and Holt, and even Mina gets pulled in.
Then the camping trip for the kids turns to a disaster.

In true author fashion, the author continues with the mystery. As it continues to unravel, it does not actually disclose a great deal. The investigation creates more intrigue and suspense. The past protects its secrets. So much to take in.
