A nice murder mystery and a family drama. One murder and 8 suspects, who's the real culprit?
Well if you've read the description of the novel, you'll know who is going to be murdered, and then you'll know when he's going to be murdered. Just pay attention to everything around that time, and you'll know who really is the culprit.
Very well written I must say. Loved the way the family is shown to stand together.
My only complaint about this novel is the so called "mumbaiyya" dialogues. No one spkeaks like that in Mumbai, really. Also no Marathi person will speak that way in Mumbai. The Nigam family is shown to be from Ratnagiri, been living there for ages, but no native Konkani is Nigam in Kokan.
The language SMP use to write for his Mumbai based character is a language that the steriotyped gangsters would have talked about 3 decades ago. No one speaks like that anymore, let alone a rich family like Nigam. If you notice there is hardly any difference between the way Nigams speak and the 2 maids shown despite the huge class difference.
Get updated SMP, please, thats a request. I like you very much, hate to you hate you for such silly reason.
