His Savage Claim: A Dark Mafia Captive Romance
I thought being taken by the Bratva would be the worst thing that could ever happen to me. I was wrong.
Everything changed the moment Dominik Morozov decided I was his.
The rules. The danger. The way his brother started looking at me like a problem that needed to be erased.
Gavriil Morozov is the Pakhan. The man who controls the Bratva, and the one person Dominik has never been able to defy—until now.
Dominik swore he would protect me. He promised no one would touch me, not even his own blood.
But promises don't mean much in a world built on loyalty and betrayal. And he couldn't make the same promise for my brother.
The Pakhan doesn't tolerate traitors. He's furious with Dominik for refusing his orders.
By the time Gavriil makes his move, it's already too late for us to run. There's no going back now.
Dominik may be the man who loves me…
But his brother is the one who just claimed me.
His Savage Claim is book two of the Savage Bratva Brothers dark mafia romance duet. For mature listeners.

I really struggled to finish this book, when I read the first one so fast.
I love a good why choose romance, but I didn’t felt like the love story here was believable enough. It all felt like such a HUGE mess: the characters feelings, the plot, the love story
Alina was such a walking contradiction this whole book, it was genuinely exhausting reading her chapters.
Gavriil chapters were interesting because it really showed the depth of the obsession he felt for Alina. But I really don’t think it should have took him this long to admit his feelings towards her.
Dominik chapters really showed how much he was just enduring his reality more than anything else. Which was really understandable when he was imprisoned, but afterwards it was so strange to read how little he tried to have a say in his relationship.
What I really don’t understand is how easily the MMCs accepted the MFM dynamic, seeing how the MMC were written it felt completely unreal that they would fight so little against it.
As for the smut scene, everything was such a huge mess that they weren’t even enjoyable. At times it almost felt like a gotcha moment, or a way to tied loose end.
All in all a huge let down compared to the first book, I kinda start to think that Savage Little games was the only real good book written by the author.

Sadly disappointing end to the duet. I don’t mind a why choose but this just didn’t feel right. The MMC’s didn’t feel like they would just fold so easily into this relationship. Sections felt dragged out, especially during the fighting. The extended epilogue just tied things in a ‘too sweet’ bow for me. Minimum smut, maximum frustration

I’ve never been mad about a threesome….but this one I really don’t want

This story made me angry and frustrated. It was a disappointing conclusion. This second installment continues on from book #1 and centers around the dramatic Bratva suspense. I liked that there’s an actual plot and it wasn’t overwhelmed with sex. The unraveling of Dominik‘s brother Gavriil, (the Bratva Pakhan), was so well paced…so minutely timed and the slow increments of psychotic collapse was faultless. But I didn’t like Gavriil despite how desperate this author attempted to redeem him and sway the reader. This second installment is more about Gavriil, less of Dominik. I mean, WTH?!? LH cemented Gavriil’s evilness so securely into me that there was no chance of redemption. I didn’t like Gavriil nor felt sorry for him despite his damage and abusive childhood. He might act out and act all tough to protect himself from attachments, but it doesn’t excuse his evilness. Anyway, Gavriil Morozov allows his pride and jealousy to imprison his brother (who’s also his Second in command) and suffers the consequences as he helplessly watches his kingdom crumble while placing the blame on everyone else, never himself.
This story was okay up until Alina forgets her brother’s death and forgives the real killer. AND THEN the fickle girl CHEATS with him! I lost all admiration for her then and there. It never made sense to me that Alina reconciled with her loss so quickly. She dismissed her debilitating grief for her brother and her anger towards Gavriil too soon to be believable. She blamed Dominik for taking her brother’s life but it was Gavriil who forced Dominik to pull the trigger while holding a gun to her head. Did she forget so easily? Did her brother mean so little to her? And what about Dominik?!??!? She falls for Gavriil practically the minute Dominik gets thrown in a prison dungeon. Whudda gal!
Moving on, there’s no reiteration of character details/descriptions. I can’t remember what Alina looks like anymore because we’re never reminded. Is her hair long or short; is she tall? We’re not even told her age. Is it so hard to remind us? (HE grabbed her long brown/blond/black hair.). There. Done! This story was good until it nosedived into two men sharing a flighty, unfaithful woman who’s unable to decide which man she loves. I guess even LH has a bad day.

Where do I even begin with this book. I have to say though, it was so beyond my expectations because I didn't expect to fall for the Villain like our author made me fall and I certainly didn't expect this book to be so tangled and beautifully complicated and yet making total sense of the dark ride and on top of it all, giving us a full on action movie experience in the later part of the book and I'm obsessed with Gavriil, Dom and Alina that's for sure.
This book continues from the dangerous ending in the previous book and I can't tell, how freaking scared I was for Alina and Dom because we know how Gavrill is and now, one mistake has put both their fates in Gavriil's hand now.
The first part of the book made me so angry and I was struggling with the way Alina battles her grief alone and yet she's a stubborn one that doesn't back down or break down in front of the enemy.
The most dreaded reality has come true when Alina finds herself in Gavriil's infamous cage and now nobody knows what will happen next.
What I absolutely loved about this book is how we get to witness an extremely hard shell slowly melted and being born again by a sweet one, who doesn't admit defeat so much so that the coin flips and now the hunter finds himself enraptured by his own prey.
Watching the Slow progression of what was unfolding between Gavriil and Alina is what makes a Dark Romance the stuff we crave as readers because I was utterly fascinated watching the dark and dangerous layers been peeled and him getting obsessed as each day passed by.
But there's also this other angle because Gavriil can never compete with the bond that Dominik and Alina share.
I felt for Dom in this one but love that he's truly the fiercely protective and loyal man that he is.
He loves Alina like no other and seeing him scared, because Alina was in his brother's clutches now and he was tied up, not able to do anything.
There are other problems on the rise too as the Bratva is being attacked left and right by a new enemy and Gavrill for the first time losing his mind over a girl he never thought he'd never care for, is unable to fend off the oncoming danger and everything just keeps getting worse as the enemies join hands to destroy the Bratva.
The later part of the book, meaning the last chapters were so full of action packed madness, I really felt I was watching a high voltage action movie and I was glued to the pages, anxious, scared and also wanting to know how it would all end.
That part was truly an adrenaline rush one.
Ahhh... I devoured this one completely and still would want more. And... Eeepppp... We have the Italian's head book next, Maximo Luciani and I'm so freaking excited to dive into the enigmatic mafia head's book next. This one was so freaking unputdownable. Absolutely loved loved this one.

His Savage Claim is book two of the Savage Bratva Brothers dark mafia romance duet. A full-length standalone novel complete with a happily-ever-after. This novel contains mature themes and potentially disturbing content intended for adult readers. In this dark mafia romance, Dominik Morozov defies his Bratva
pakhan brother to protect the woman he loves, leading to dangerous consequences. An unputdownable and absorbing addictive read. A fast paced, dark and twisted story. Immerse yourself in this tantalizing rollercoaster ride filled with high-octane adventures, heart-stopping emotions, non-stop twists and turns, pulse-pounding drama, angst and suspense. A beautifully written story with three damage, flawed and broken individuals and a twisty and complex storyline that captures the reader attention from the beginning and keeps you transfixed and turning the pages. This is Dominik, Alina, Gavrill story which is told from a multiple POV.
The story picks up where it left off from the mind-blowing cliffhanger in book one with Gavrill locking up Dominik in his basement of his house for disobeying his order to kill Alina and betraying him. He wants to inflict maximum punishment on him for his betrayal and through manipulation and coercion Alina as agreed to be his for a month in order to save Dominik. Gavrill goal is to break her down but she proves to be a worthy adversity when she shows him that although she as not been apart of the mafia that she wasn't no wallflower and gave as good as he gives. The powe dynamics between was mind-blowing in this slow burn romance. Although these brothers have worked side by side there's no love between the two. And when Alina came in their fragile relationship was easily broken. Because they became enemies once she came in the mix. Gavrill thought that it be easy for him break and dominate her and force her submission and surrender. He was so distracted by punishing her and his brother that he almost lost his empire because his enemies saw a crack and weakness and pounce. A story of violence, action, danger, obsession, possessiveness, power play, enemies, rivalry, power struggle, revenge, retaliation, resilience, survival, steam, tension, redemption, forgiveness, acceptance, bloodshed, attacks, threats, love murder, dominance and so much more.
I received an advanced copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

📖✨ Book Review: His Savage Claim by Lane Hart ✨📖
⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5)
This is Book 2 in a duet 📚🔗
I’ll start by saying—I’m not usually a fan of why choose 🤷♀️💭 I can enjoy it, but it really has to be done right ✔️
Throughout Book 1, Dominik constantly tells Alina how terrible his brother Gavril is 😬—especially when it comes to women 🚫👩 And honestly…that reputation tracks. Gavril is the Pakhan 👑🔫 and has a very controlling, obsessive personality.
It becomes pretty clear that Gavril’s obsession with Alina stems from the fact that she loves Dominik 😳💔 which creates a very strange and uncomfortable dynamic between all three of them. Gavril sees himself as Dominik’s protector 🛡️, believing his brother is too “soft,” and even references protecting him from their father and past betrayals.
Alina agrees to stay with Gavril for 30 days ⏳ in order to protect Dominik after he defies orders (which is a major betrayal in their world ⚠️).
But here’s where things get dark…
Gavril literally puts her in a cage 🔒😳—a place where he’s kept and “broken” other women (as described by Dominik). Alina fights back the only way she can—by going on a hunger strike 🥀 which leads to her getting sick 🤒
And then…almost instantly…Gavril “falls” for her 😬❤️🔥
This is where the story lost me a bit.
For me, this didn’t feel like a true why choose dynamic—it felt more like cheating between two brothers 💔⚡ and I really struggled, especially in the last 20% of the book 📉
That said, the story is definitely intense 🔥 and leans heavily into dark romance themes 🖤
🔥 Tropes
• Why Choose (MMF) 🤷♀️🔥
• Dark Mafia Romance 🔫🖤
• Brothers / Love Triangle 👬⚡
• Obsessive MMC 😈
• Captive / Cage Dynamics 🔒
• Protective Alpha Energy 🛡️
• Power Imbalance ⚖️
• Touch Her and 💀 vibes
⚠️ Trigger Warnings
• Captivity / imprisonment 🔒
• Abuse / manipulation ⚠️
• Dubious consent ❗
• Emotional & psychological trauma 😢
• Violence (mafia-related) 🔫
• Toxic relationships 🖤
• Hunger strike / self-harm elements 🥀

Battle of the Hearts
This is the finale of this duet with the Morozov Bratva brothers battling against each other. The first book left with a cliffhanger so read it first.
While Dominik is being punished, Gavrill tries to break Alina & Dominik’s undying love for each other. Gavrill tries everything & nothing works. Becoming more focused & obsessed over her, he desperately wants her to love him instead. Meanwhile his followers are losing their confidence in him as their leader. With a war brewing of 3 groups breathing down their necks to capture their territory, will the brothers be able to reunite & fight together to retain what’s theirs or will Gavrill’s stubbornness be the end of their legacy?
Unconventional HEA is the best way to explain this one. All 3 are blissfully happy & ready to rebuild their kingdom in the Bratva. Leadership changes are necessary to survive & new allies prove this path is better.
Alina’s choices & decision-making show her leaving her weaker side, and growing to be a powerful strong woman who needs to survive in the Bratva world. No longer running but will stand up to be beside the people who love & respect her. She has a big heart when it comes to love.
Another winner full of twists, suspense & drama. Kept me on the edge right to the end!

Review of advance copy received from Author
As this is the conclusion to this story, it's best to read in order. Alina is beginning her time as Gavriil's "possession", and Dominick as his brother's prisoner.
It was clear from how the storyline ended in book one, that neither one of them would be enjoying their time apart, but as Pakhan, Gavriil holds all the power. His obsession with Alina, and the need to punish Dom for his "betrayal" quickly sends him into a dangerous spot.
The intrigue and dangers of this mafia world kept me on the edge of my seat, as things began to disintegrate. Alina's stubbornness to give Gavriil what he desperately wants sends him into a spiral that almost ends up ending them all.
It was difficult to see the brothers, who had been working together (albeit not happily) be mortal enemies, and the psychological manipulation of Alina. The attraction and chemistries between the guys and Alina were complex and the way this storyline presented the disloyalties and betrayals kept the pages turning on their own.
All the bloodshed, dangers, and sizzling chemistry we love from this author is on full display in this duet, and I recommend this pair of books. I enjoyed my reads.
Fortunate to have received an ARC from the author and Booksprout (thank you) I happily leave my review.

I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leavina a review.
Book two after book one left us hanging with an ultimate cliff hanger !
The battle with Dominik is being punished, Gavrill tries to break and manipulate Alina & Dominik's love for each other.
There is attacks, Gavrills men losing their confidence in him as Alina consumes him from the inside out while
Dominik is also dying for Alina while he rots in a prison cell, that is own brother puts him in as punishment !
Not to mention battles, gunfire, explosions you name it it happens
This book is one heck of an Unconventional HEA if I’ve ever read one
All 3 are blissfully happy & ready to rebuild their kingdom in the Bratva. Leadership changes are necessary to survive & new allies prove this path is better.
Alina becomes a vital kick ass third wheel to the brothers in the Bratva world.
It has me on the edge of my seat not sure of who she would pick or what would come next plenty of twists and turns, DRAMA Filled and the suspense had me power reading to find out what happened next.
It wasn’t quite the ended I expected but this book did not disappoint ! Enjoy the ride !

Review of advance copy
This follows on from His savage obsessive, which must be read before starting this book. Alina is facing her month in Gavrill's cage as his possession. Whilst Dominick and his men are held in cells as punishment for attempting to flee with Alina. This first book is very compelling and totally has you hating everything about Gavrill, and the way he runs his men. The problem is as you start reading this book you start to read things from the brothers past. But Alina is still suffering from. he brother's brutal murder at Dominick's hand. Can she every forgive him. Yet she knows he really didn't have a choice. But she knows that she loves him, and wants him. Then as Gavrill takes care of her, her feelings become conflicted. But he's cruel, standoffish and shows no sign of emotions. Then as war breaks out. Just who are the enemies. Can anybody really be trusted. Will Dominick and his men survive the dungeon and punishments they receive. Another book I didn't want to put down. Which brother will she choose. Just who will survive the war.

Lane Hart resumed this dark mafia romance where their cliffhanger ended and I’m so excited for the rest of the story! Alina may not have grown up in this world, but she’s more than a match for Gavriil and his dominant personality. He’s cruel and remarkably stubborn with little regard for her comfort. I love her resilience and ability to see past his flaws. Her heart is big enough for both brothers, if she can bring them together. There’s so much emotion in their story: it’s just hidden by pride, tradition, and past trauma. Dom is a very patient man, his heart beats for her, and his life is incomplete without his brother! It’s a scary, poignant, brutal, and tragic experience that highlights family, loyalty, and the fight it takes to keep everyone safe! A slow burn, adrenaline rush, and complex relationship that kept me captivated til the very end! 4.5 plot, 4 heat, and 5 for a sharing commitment!.

This book went in a completely different direction than I had anticipated, and I have to say, I freaking LOVED it.
Alina's strong demeanour and perseverance—despite every obstacle that was thrown in her way—were admirable.
I loved watching Gavriil slowly unravel and fall under Alina's spell, while Dominik slowly came to grips with his new reality.
The blood ties and love in this duet were at the forefront of this story, and while it wasn't all sunshine and roses, it was perfect for them.
The chemistry and connection between the characters were insistent and strong, no matter which way they were pulled.
I liked that when it came down to the wire, they were all willing to lay down their lives for one another, while also wanting the others to be happy.
As I said, it was not at all what I expected, yet it exceeded everything I could have ever hoped for.

This book went in a completely different direction than I expected, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Picking up after His Savage Obsessive, the plot continues with Alina forced to live as Gavriil’s “possession,” while Dominik remains a captive for betraying his brother. Alina’s resilience and defiance stand out as she wrestles with conflicting emotions for both men. Watching Gavriil gradually lose control under his consuming fixation on her, while Dominik deals with the fallout of his decisions, was compelling. The rivalry between the brothers, mixed with betrayal, danger, and powerful attraction, kept me invested. This duet offers violence, loyalty, and tangled romance, creating a gripping and memorable read.

I need to state that I love all the books by Lane Hart, including this one. However, I think this could have been even greater if the boundaries had been pushed between the three main characters a bit more. Alina is not like the usual women who are placed in Gavrill Morozov's cage and that difference is what hooked him into being obsessed with her. Most of the story is about the differences between the two brother's and how Alina responds differently to each but in the end, everyone just wants love, especially when "that" love is not the scary or venerable condition a member of the Bratva believes it to be. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and most of the time yelling at each of the characters to try and get them to listen to you.

Gavriil, Dominik and A)ina's Story
The second book of this duet is drastically different from the first book. The first book was extraordinarily dark and violent, with a nasty villian in Gavriil Morozov.
The cliffhanger has Gavriil taking possession of Alina Kent to lock her in a cage while taking his brother Dominik and his 3 men into custody, throwing them in prison.
Gavriil is an ineffective Pakhan without his strategically oriented brother at his side. His world falls into a brutal war.
Alina loves Dominik but is attracted to Gavriil too. She eventually falls in love with him also.
The complete change in Gavriil from book 1 to book 2 is not believable.
The love story is very complicated and also hard to believe with such strong, possessive characters.

voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the 2nd book in the Savage Bratva Brothers duet series. You must read the first book before starting this one as it picks up where the first book left off.
Gavrill is the leader of the Bratva mafia. His brother Dominik was his second, until he went behind his back. He's now spending time in his basement prison cell while he plays with Alina for the next month.
Alina is grieving the loss of her brother. She doesn't want to anything. So to defy Gavrill, she refuses to eat, drink, or sleep. Until her body finally started giving out on her and someone has to come to her rescue. But she finds comfort from the person she least expects it.
Totally didn't see that ending coming. It was a wild ride and I devoured this book.

His Savage Claim is the conclusion of the Savage Bratva Brothers Duet by Lane Hart. His Savage Obsession was one of my favorite reads of January. Because of this, I couldn’t wait to read the continuation of Dominik, Alina and Gavril’s story, especially after that cliffhanger. And this book didn’t disappoint. I’m utterly obsessed with this book. Lane Hart did a masterful job of writing a novel full of tension, suspense, intrigue and romance. The relationships between Alina and Dominik, and Alina and Gavril had so much tension that I could feel it radiating off of the pages. Though few, the spice scenes were sizzling and impactful to to the storyline. His Savage Claim had the perfect blend of Bratva action and romance. The Bratva plot line caught my attention and kept it throughout the book. Once I started reading this book, I couldn’t put it down. If you are a mafia romance girl like me, you need to add the Savage Bratva Brothers Duet to your TBR. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Oh wow, worth so much more than 5 stars. This was the thrilling end to the duet and certainly packs a punch. Amazing!
Gavriil takes Alina to his cage while keeping Dominik and his men in his prison.
Alina was so smart and learning how to turn Gavriil around her finger while trying to keep him from hurting his brother Dom in the prison. Gavriil was taking delight in his manipulations. While Dom was pining for Alina.
The plot had everything. Secrets, Betrayal, twists and turns i didn't see coming. It was a unique romance but the ending seems to fit.
Fantastic book and can't wait for the next. Amazing!!

This is the second part, and conclusion of The Savage Bratva Brothers duet. It’s Alina and Dom and Gavriil’s story. The first book ended on a shocking plot twist. This book takes it from there and gets even more twisted and complicated and dangerous and wow! Until finally things start to fall back into place, though in a new order that makes sense eventually. It’s so full of action that borders on anxiety-inducing only to then give you a new punch until there’s a HEA. I felt like we were on a rollercoaster! It was awesome and exciting!

Book 2 of the Savage Bratva Brothers Duet. Must read in series order for maximum enjoyment.
'Dominik may be the man who loves me…
But his brother is the one who just claimed me.'
The characters were dark and obsessive and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building continues to excel and impress. All in all a great conclusion to the duet. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

I was so looking forward to the finale of the Savage Brothers Bratva, and I can tell you it was well worth the wait! Relationships that were once frayed were glued back together and stronger than ever! The saga of Alina, Dominik and Gavriil will keep you glued to the edge of your seat. This book is action packed, filled with drama, tension, and twists and turns and an ending that I totally did not expect! This is one of those books that I wanted to skip ahead to see how they got the HEA. Instead I just binged … page after page.
So many conflicts going on…
Gavriil and his obsession… serious about the cage.
Alina and her grief, her heartache over Dominik and then her confusion over Gavriil
Dominik.. traitor to his brother all for a woman.
So many choices … and if trusting in love is real as it isn’t always safe.

Final book in the Morozov Bratva duet—make sure you read book one first!
Dominik is being punished while Gavrill becomes obsessed with breaking him and Alina apart…but nothing works. As his control slips and rival groups close in, war is inevitable. The real question: can the brothers reunite, or will Gavrill destroy everything?
Unconventional HEA, but all three find their happiness and start rebuilding—with new leadership and alliances leading the way.

Their world is "built on loyalty and betrayal."
Dominik and Alina's love story continues with him in chains and her in a cage, both of them prisoners in Gavriil's twisted games. It's a very emotional story of two brothers with a woman between them, full of manipulation, fury, jealousy, pain and power struggles for control. And all around them a deadly war is raging, closing in. Can they really be "Three parts of a whole, finally choosing each other."? I have read many Bratva- themed books and this two- book set is different and very good!

His Savage Claim concludes the story between Gavril, the Bratva Pakhan, his brother Dominik who is his second in command of the organization, and Alina who finds herself staying with Gavril for 30 days to protect Domini. This intense romantic read has complex characters, power dynamics, drama, forced proximity, underworld violence, and a dark Bratva Romance. This is a great duet with twists which keeps your reading interest.

It was such a great book, I would love another look in their future to know more. The author is very talented writer who keeps you on your toes. Without giving anything away, I can say this. This is such a nailbiter. Dom, Alina and Gavrill return to finish their story. This was the perfect ending and outcome for their story. There is a line crossed from obsession to love in this triangle that kept me reading and actually hoping everything ended well. This duet read was perfect and well written. It's a dark obsessive love triangle that will keep anyone reading.

This was the second part in the duet it picks up where book one ended. Dom realizes he could lose more than he thought after they go to his brothers. Alina’s choices I did not agree with and there were times I could believe what was happening. Gavriil character has growth but will it be enough? How will it end?.
