She is also the author of the Stop and Smell the Roses Series. Her books aim to incorporate Christian themes in a simple and straightforward way so that children can understand them and relate to them.

From a child Wendy Sparkes has loved reading and even now that she is all grown up, she still has a book not too far away from her! Christian Romantic Suspense is her favourite genre, but she also enjoys Christian Historical Romance and Contemporary Christian Romance. She loves reading to children, and is now enjoying reading books to her nephews that she enjoyed when she was a child.
