The end of this chapter. Katrina and Dagger have one night together. Oops. Sometimes that's all it takes. She runs away the next morning. But shows up with some news. She gives Dagger a choice. But to him there is no choice because she's it for him. While I liked their story I have some questions that were never answered. And now it seems like they will never be answered. That's a bit disappointing to me. There wasn't much action in this one and what there was was over too fast. This one just felt a bit rushed and unfinished to me. I'm sorry to say that but it's just how I feel.

A massive thank you to E.C. Land for the ARC of Dagger's Target!

Even though it's sad to see the ending of the Devil's Riot MC Southeast, I'm super excited to see what comes next.

From the start I was hooked on the story- and the bombshell that Katrina drops on Dagger! It was a wild ride from start to finish and I could not get enough of the story!

Can't wait for the next books that Land brings us!

3.75stars—-DAGGER’S TARGET is the ninth instalment in EC Land’s contemporary, adult DEVIL’S RIOT MC: SOUTHEAST erotic, MC romance series. This is Van ‘Dagger’ Delgado, and musician Katrina Ray’s story line. DAGGER’S TARGET can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers .
Told from dual first person perspectives (Dagger and Katrina) DAGGER’S TARGET follows in the wake a one-night stand between our story line couple that would change Dagger and Katrina’s life forever but Dagger refuses to walk away, and when Katrina is targeted, Dagger gathers the proverbial troops to protect the woman with whom he is falling in love. Meanwhile, Katrina’s past has caught up with our heroine, and the Devil’s Target are about to meet a familiar face.

The world building develops quickly as we are witness to Dagger and Katrina’s reunion, their plans for the future, and the fear of an unknown enemy. Katrina’s past wants a face to face, and the Devil’s Riot MC will protect our heroine with their lives.

The relationship between Dagger and Katrina begins as a one-night stand but weeks later, Katrina brings news that will change both of their lives. As Dagger and Katrina begin their lives together, someone else is determined to destroy them both. the $ex scenes are intimate and provocative without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and determined secondary and supporting characters including the members of the Devil’s Riot MC. We are introduced to Grindr, Boxer and Chelsea, three people who are about to change Katrina’s past and her future.

DAGGER’S TARGET is a story of secrets and trust, obsession and madness, family and relationships, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dramatic and edgy; the romance is seductive and impassioned; the characters are desperate, charismatic and dynamic.

Katrina spends one night with Dagger from the Devil’s Riot MC, something she never does, and then leaves in the morning before he wakes. She really liked him but despite her success she doesn’t think she’s good for anybody.

Dagger is stubborn and though he can’t stop thinking about Katrina, even weeks later, he won’t chase someone that snuck away from him. When she shows up back at the clubhouse though that’s a whole other story.

E.C. Land has this one-night stand turn into a forever with the help of an oops baby. Dagger already knew he was going to want more when Katrina showed up, her being pregnant only made things that much more set in stone in his opinion.

This is the final book in the Southeast Devil’s Riot, and it was a good way to round it out. As the series is quite spaced out and other series are often dropped in between, I can’t say I remember every other member’s story, but some popped back into my head as I read the characters,

A little bit of danger is present in this story like her others. Of course, the club and MMC will do anything to protect those they claim. I felt sorry for Katrina’s family struggles and Dagger certainly had issues with his. It’s the found family that always supplies that feeling of belonging and home in these books.

Again, another enjoyable read from E.C Land and a great quick escape into another world where the men love fiercely and the women complete them in a way they didn’t realise they needed.

Happy Reading.

This is the 9th book in this phenomenal series, and it is a bittersweet read as this is the last in a series, and this is Dagger and Katrina’s story.
Katrina built her dance studio from the ground up and is fiercely protective about it. Dagger and Katrina spend 1-night together, and he instantly knows that he wants more. When Kat’s business is in danger from an investor who has turned dirty, Dagger will do whatever he must to keep her safe and protected. Kat is no pushover, and she certainly keeps Dagger on his toes.
This is a well written easy to read, action packed story, with found family, friendships, emotions, tension, challenges, danger, suspense, intrigue, secrets, an age gap, complex relationships, revelations, humour, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, and unpredictable, addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

her mom was a real damn bitch to her growing up but when she was old enough 2 b on her old she left and avoids her mom as much as possible. her mom wouldn't even tell her who her dad is or anything about her past. she loves music. she writes and produces her own music and helps others produce their music 2 and her studio. she had a 1 nightstand with Dagger. something she never does. she goes and tells him something important and that she don't want anything from him. she will never b like her bitch mom. when they find out others r trying 2 find her they want 2 know why and who. what they find out is really shocking. when he finds her someone is threatening her 2 sell her place she won't ever do that. can they find out who's behind the threats b4 it's 2 late and they do something that can't b taken back? it was really good. i like how he proves to her he will do anything for her and so will her new family and the rest of the guys.

This book is one of those guilty pleasures. The kind you read and giggle at before realizing, you're a grown ass woman. It was so easy to fall in love with Dagger and his brothers. And easy to be a little jealous of Katrina. She is the perfect mix of independent and understanding. She is a strong woman, she has made a name for herself and built a life that she is proud of. She also craves the closeness and protection of her man in ways even she didn't expect.

This is my first time reading anything by E.C. Land but definitely not my last. While Dagger's Target is the ninth book in the Devil's Riot MC Southeast series, I did not feel lost jumping into this book without reading the others. Meeting different characters that clearly have their own stories just made me want to read more.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book, Kat kept Dagger on his toes and won him over by just being herself. I also hate that this is the last book in the series. When Kat and Dagger get together they didn’t know that they shared common childhoods. When she contacts him after running away from him, Dagger decides that she will be his and she really has no say in the matter. When they learn that her father, who was never in the picture, finds out that he is her father is a member of the clubs Colorado chapter and that she has a brother also.
They travel the complex levels of a relationship that is being set in cement. When trouble comes calling for Dagger,by way of Kat thur his blood brother, and said blood brother threatened her, all hell breaks loose. Together the club along with Dagger and her blood family take care of the threat and their future seems to be bright and full of respect and love.

I loved this story. Katrina wanted to let Dagger know her news because of her past and did not ask for anything. She was truly independent, private, talented, and caring. Dagger felt that they were destined to be together from the moment he saw her the very first time. I loved his determination, loyalty, and acceptance. The fun of finding out who Katrina's father was added very much to the story. Family, both blood and brotherhood, featured very much in this story, and I was sad to see the series end. Well worth the read.

I received an ARC through 1852Media, and this is my unsolicited review.

Dagger & Katrina are the perfect end to the Southeast chapter. My heart is sad it’s over, but I know we’ll see these guys and their Ol’ Ladies in other chapters.

Katrina is strong and very easily stands in her own two feet and can handle herself. She doesn’t need Dagger and the club but she’s also grateful they’ve taken her in and are willing to stand in front of her in the face of danger.

Dagger is great with Katrina. He recognizes her drive to not rely on anyone, and understands why she is that way, but when he needs to protect her he doesn’t bulldoze over her. He explains his feelings and thoughts and how her safety and happiness affect him in the long run.

We got more glimpses of the upcoming Colorado chapter, as well as Chelsea being a slightly subdued version herself. Unfortunately, Sassy doesn’t make an appearance.

I love the Devil’s Riot MC with all the amazing characters and stories and this book was so good. Who would have thought that from a one night hookup Dagger and Katrina would find their HEA. They face a little drama along the way, especially when Katrina is threatened, not to mention a surprise pregnancy but these two know what they want from the very first night they meet. This book is all about family, love and protection and it is the perfect ending to this fabulous series. I am sad to say goodbye all these characters but I hope that we might get to read more in future books.

This was an amazing story in several aspects. I enjoyed watching the character growth with each character and seeing some old faces from other charters. Katrina was such an amazing and strong woman that matched perfectly with dagger. I loved her honesty and fearlessness and especially how she grew to trust dagger and her family. Dagger was an amazing man to step up and go after what he wanted. He is a standup guy in how he handled everything with Katrina and her hesitancy with the relationship and having him in her life. It was a perfect ending for this generation of this charter.

Dagger and Katrina is not your typical story. One night many tequila shots and finding out she is pregnant and he goes and finds her and tells her what he wants and she tells him he doesn't need too. The more time they spend together they find out who her family is, but the threat to her business and life make things more complicated especially when they fins out who is making the threat. An amazing read full of twist truns, action, some spice, emotions, and more. Sad to see this chapter end but an ending that will give it all. Can't wait to see what she has next.

Great book!!

What was a one off ended up changing Katrina's life forever. When she woke up in Dagger's bed she panicked and quick made an exit. Dagger was none too happy when he woke up and she was gone. He kind of thought he wouldn't see her again but a couple !months later she stopped by to give him news that he would be a father. She said no strings attached just giving you info. He thought this is the woman that I'm spending the rest of my life with. Never realizing who she is.

Bittersweet but awesome to it's roots.

Wow, I feel like I'm writing a eulogy because all things end and that makes this book bittersweet. I love the Devil's Riot MC and have been there since the beginning. All the chapters in this series have been hits with me and this book is no exception. Fast pace and filled with what we come to love this book shines on it's own. Dagger is a wonderful character. If you haven't read the other chapters, I highly recommend this MC. E.C. Land is a great author and her books will get you every time. Five stars. Devil's Riot rocks. Peace out.

Dagger can’t stop thinking about the one night hook up that bolted before he woke up. He is stunned when she comes to the clubhouse with information, but wants nothing in return.

Kat had a difficult childhood and has built up a successful business. It’s now under threat, but Dagger and the club step in to protect her.

A great conclusion to this series, twists, turns danger and drama as Kat and Dagger reach HEA in this age gap story.

Perfect Ending to Series

Just like all of the books prior to this one, The Devils Riot MC Southeast were five-star page turners. Dagger and Katrina’s story was built around love and family. Both had horrible upbringings but somehow found their way out on the other side by choosing the families that mattered. This book was action packed with some big surprises that changed both of their lives. This author writes amazing MC stories and this is yet another of those.

Dagger's Target winds down the Southeast Chapter of the Devil's Riot MC. It's kinda bittersweet, but Dagger and Katrina is fitting and fantastic way
to say "see ya later". It's a great, one night stand, can't forget you story that sinks in and I didn't want it to be over. From book 1 all the way through to book 9 this has been one heckuva ride! Hopefully we'll get visits from all of these characters in future books.

Dagger's Target was a great ending to a great series. Dagger and Katrina had a one night stand. A couple months later she finds out she is pregnant. She goes to the clubhouse to see Dagger to let him know. She doesn't expect anything from him in regards to her baby but she is happy to hear that he wants to be there every step of the way, When trouble comes Katrina's way, Dagger and the club are there to help her in every way. Dagger and Katrina find love with each other and their child.

Once again E.C. Land gives us another amazing addition to the Devil's Riot MC series. Dagger and Katrina's story is packed full of surprises, steam, action, love, loyalty and family. From beginning to end I was completely drawn into their story and I didn't want it to end. P.S. I absolutely loved the way their story ended.

The last book in the Devils Riot Southeast series. Dagger and Katrina's story. One night together and Dagger can't get her out of his head. Then she shows up at the Clubhouse with all kinds of surprises. They both have childhood trama to over come. She's strong and doesn't need Dagger but wants him all the same. Sad to see the end of this chapter but can't wait for what comes next.

Katrina’s friends decided she needed a night out. They went to an MC club to let loose. Dagger goes up to talk to her, they end up in bed together. Next morning she sneaks out of the club. The next 2 months she working, then realizes she needs to see a doctor. Katrina is pregnant. I highly recommend this.

When a threat is aimed at Katrina, Dagger and his brothers step up. This has action, found family, tension, danger, humor and love. Can;t wait to see what’s next

This was a really awesome book. The story here is engaging and the characters easy to care about. I thought the chemistry and attraction were top notch, and I was rooting for Dagger and Katrina pretty much from the word "Go". This one definitely got me up in my feelings and left me swooning.
