K.T. Carlisle is the pseudonym for a Vermont-based murder mystery writer. As far back as she can remember, Carlisle has dedicated her life to the written word. Earning her B.A. in Writing Arts with a concentration in Creative Writing in 2015 from Rowan University, Carlisle received the Excellence in Writing Arts Award. Out of more than 3,500 students, Carlisle was selected for the award based on her exceptional skill as a writer and teacher of writing.

After graduating from Rowan University, Carlisle briefly served as an intern for a literary agency in Manhattan where she was responsible for reviewing incoming submissions and passing them on to suitable agents. Later called westward to Salt Lake City, Carlisle was hired as a copywriter and editor, crafting various ghostwritten articles on behalf of prominent executives within Silicon Valley’s tech industry. Her work has appeared in publications such as Forbes, VentureBeat, Entrepreneur, Inc.com, and USA Today, to name a few.

In late 2018, Carlisle started her own marketing agency, specializing in copywriting, website development, and social media management. Since starting the niche agency, she has had the privilege of developing unique voices for small business owners all over the country, publishing thousands of webpages and blog articles each year.

When she is not busy crafting custom content for clients, Carlisle devotes all of her creative energy towards writing her next novel, as well as spending her days enjoying all the natural beauty that the Green Mountain State has to offer alongside her incredible husband, four crazy dogs, and flock of chickens.

Thriller lovers, this is where it’s at!

Once again @ktcarlisle knocks it out of the park with her new YA thriller, 𝙄 𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙎𝙖𝙬.

This totally gave me PLL vibes! (IYKYK) - High school awkwardness, first crushes, best friends, and of course the token mean girls. I absolutely loved the main character Eliza - she’s witty, relatable and will even give you a chuckle every now and then with her teenager ‘tude.

As per usual with a Carlisle book, I was up all night trying to solve the whodunnit! Carlisle’s writing is superb and just sucks you in- insert onomatopoeia suction sound here. You just can’t stop until you have all the answers!

100% recommend for all YA readers and anyone who loves a thriller or just needs a quick read!

Finished this one in just two days! It was a real page turner. The mystery at its heart propelled the plot and the drama between the characters made me care about what happened to them. It took a while before I was pretty sure who or what was the guilty party, so the book kept me guessing with plenty of red herrings. Overall, this book was a great, quick read.

Buckle up, y’all, because this one was a treat! 😍

I actually read "I Know What I Saw" for the first time last year, but I had the opportunity to reread it for an indie book club, and I’m so glad I did!

This is quite simply the perfect summer thriller. I had SO much fun with this book! It’s intense, twisty, and basically every chapter ends on a cliffhanger. The mystery kept me hooked, but where Ms. Carlisle really shines is her characters. They feel real, like people you could bump into at the store, and their growth throughout the story is excellent.

Also, I am personally a sucker for the incredible chemistry in this book. 😍

Overall, I definitely recommend this one! It’s a SUPER fun read. Plus, there’s a sequel coming out in October! 👀🎃🧙‍♀️

Content Notes / Parental Guidance: This would likely be rated R for strong violence, alcohol use, and mature themes. Includes cancer, murder, parental death, sexual abuse, and grooming. Violence includes graphic descriptions of stabbings/dismemberment and intense peril. Sexual content is limited to kissing, but there are references to sexual abuse and a realistically depicted grooming storyline. Underage drinking is included but not glamorized.
