Just as American covert operative Chase Fulton’s life is returning to normal after a seemingly endless era of turmoil, his world erupts as sniper bullets fly, tearing through the bodies and lives of those around him. A manhunt unlike any the team has ever undertaken unfolds, demanding more of Chase and this tireless band of warriors than any of them could expect.
When the cascade of misdirection and cover-up crumbles, old ghosts—remnants of silent Cold War operations—swarm to engulf the team in the fallout of missions they never knew occurred, long before they took up arms and stared evil in the face in defense of everything they love.
When the past becomes present, the future hangs in the balance. Can Chase defeat an enemy who may be nothing more than an apparition? Can ageless and ravenous revenge overcome modern tactics and the team’s boundless willingness to pay any price to stop the forces of evil from a bygone era, or has the evil fed on the passage of time and grown too strong for even Tactical Team 21 to defeat?
Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.
With a headful of larger-than-life characters and their thrilling exploits, Cap pours his love of adventure and passion for the ocean onto the pages of his action adventure series, The Chase Fulton Novels and his new series Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins.
Inspired by the likes of John D. Macdonald’s Travis McGee, Randy Wayne White’s Doc Ford, and Wayne Stinnett’s Jesse McDermitt, Cap creates thrilling tales of action and adventure set throughout the Caribbean and coastal Florida and Georgia by intertwining nautical adventure with international espionage. Cap’s Chase Fulton Novels series promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats, trying to guess what new danger or adventure lies just around the corner.
The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins series is a spin-off starring the most controversial and intriguing character from the Chase Fulton Novels. After defecting to the United States, Anastasia "Anya" Burinkova, a former Russian SVR assassin and intelligence operative puts her lethal skill set into action against the powerful Russian Mafia. In this gritty, organized-crime thriller series, Cap Daniels takes his readers into the dark underworld of the Russian Mafia weaving actual events into fiction to leave the reader's heart pounding and their fingers itching to turn the page.

Another great mission by Chase and the Team. Cap Daniel's writing never disappoints, is not repetitive, and I read each of his books quickly. The entire Chase Fulton series is worth it, reading in order if you can, but that is not strictly necessary. If you are looking for something to read that doesn't bombard you with sex or language, Cap's books are the ticket. He is every bit the excellent writer that the most famous fiction authors are, he just isn't quite as well known, . . . YET!
Loved it! Another great read from Cap. Great characters, new and old. Now, I can get some rest and sleep. I have a hard time putting down a Cap Daniel‘s novel. I was sitting on edge with this read. So many things happening, but isn’t that the best part of a Daniels’ novel, “ things happening?” For me it is. Now I have to sit and wait for the next one. Ugh!
Hey Cap, what ever happened to Mongo’s wife and daughter? My question has nothing to do with the novel, so any reader thinking something is going on, nope. I was having a discussion with a friend and we’re avid Daniels fans. Well…?
The Assassin's Chase by Cap Daniels delivers a high-intensity military thriller packed with covert operations, sniper attacks, Cold War secrets, and relentless action.
What stands out is the strong sense of momentum and tactical realism throughout the premise. The story immediately throws readers into danger, while the layered conspiracy involving hidden Cold War operations adds depth beyond a standard action thriller.
Chase Fulton and Tactical Team 21 also bring a strong team-dynamic element that appeals to fans of military camaraderie and elite covert units. The blend of modern warfare with unresolved ghosts from the past creates an atmosphere of suspense, paranoia, and escalating danger.
One opportunity I noticed is that the novel could strongly appeal to readers who enjoy military thrillers featuring covert operatives, tactical missions, and international conspiracies.
There’s also strong positioning potential among fans of authors like Tom Clancy, Brad Thor, Vince Flynn, and Jack Carr, especially readers looking for action-driven stories with elite-team dynamics and geopolitical intrigue.
The Assassin's Chase - a review by Rosemary Kenny.
When two VIPs are murdered and another is left fighting for his life, his son calls on Chase, Anya and the team, in The Assassin's Chase. What's the link between these men and a covert US mission in Armenia, half a century before?
It's non-stop, death-defying action all the way, as the good guys do whatever it takes to thwart those behind the plot. A great addition to Cap Daniels' Chase Fulton series, and if you haven't enjoyed them all yet, be sure to get them once you've finished the unputdownable Assassin's Chase, for a magnificent reading experience!
Cap's novels are always action packed. The Assassin's Chase was the best in the Chase Fulton series. I loved the story and I could not stop reading until the very end. Now I'm impatient waiting for the next book in the life of Chase Fulton and his team.
Chase Fulton keeps kicking Doors and Doesn’t take Names
Cap Daniels has created another worthy saga for Chase Fulton and his merry band of heroes to survive. They get the job done. This particular version reminds us of how this started and finishes with the promise of more heroics to come. I eagerly look forward to the next Chase Fulton story.

Cap once again brings us a fabulous story; blending the intense action with moving moments and wonderful dialog. Something he’s done throughout this amazing series. It’s quite the ride he takes us on with this cast of characters. From the first page to the last, it is definitely well done!!
Another great book in a great series... whenever a new comes out I stop whatever book I am reading to read Cap's latest and catch up on the latest with our old Friends - Chase and he merry band of misfit toys... as Chase would say - Go Dawgs!
What else is there to say about a incredible book series. Once again Cap keeps you full of twists and turns in the Chase Fulton series. As always, I anticipate another addition to the series in September.
Cap keeps outdoing himself. Assassin’s Chase is another exciting adventure for Chase and his team with nonstop action and enough twists and turns to make a great story. A fun read.
It feels like coming home every time I get the pleasure of reading a new book. From the first to the last, what an adventure. I would highly recommend them, the just get better and better.
Chase does it again in a most exciting way. I pray Cap has more inspation within him to keep writing as these stories are my favoites. I read other authors to fill the gaps between Cap's writing. Thank you for keeping Chase alive.
35 books into the series, and it’s still a can’t put down novel. I don’t know how Cap does it, but he does. If you haven’t yet started the series, go back to book one and begin a journey you’ll be so glad you started.
