I find a lot of gems through targeted advertising and this was… not one of them. This had a good premise and set up and the entire story collapsed because it was devoid of human emotion, riddled with errors and the big twist was so utterly unbelievable I audibly scoffed. I’m wondering if I stumbled on an AI written book? Anyway, pass on this one.

🙄

Calla & Cassian story was disappointed to me. Neither talked to each other before taking jobs elsewhere when they were still married. Before her marriage to Cassian, she seemed unsure if she wanted be married so the marriage were doomed from the beginning. She had Mommy issues cause her Mom gave up her dreams to marry Calla Dad. Finally Cassian was the weakest man I've read in a book. He knew he was still in love with Calla and pretty much destroyed a good relationship with Maya. Calla & Cassian deserved each other cause their were both fickled as hell. This book was definitely NOT as good as the 1st book!

Good storyline but something is missing.

I like the storyline, but there are some confusing time lines/continuity They both love each other and love their careers. He made the first sacrifice, decline a good opportunity to choose her, but when it comes to her she choose her career before her without share any info to him. She was selfish waiting for him to be the one always available; she says she regretted at the end. But he was already building something good. Well thet divorced and five years passed. Then the couple friends Riven and Mireya were already sharing time with his new girlfriend Maya, a doctor that was always present for him, even with the crazy doctor schedule. But suddenly the ex returned and Mireya that didn't know her was all supported her and Riven that was always kind of stoic with her were changing policies for them. Both of them forgotten about the time of friendship with Cassian and Maya.
Then Cassian found out about a pregnancy/miscarriage and suddenly forgot everything and they were back together. I feel like the author missed something in between. Love the first book of the series but this one es kind of missing something before reach the final.

Sweet Long Lost Love

This one was different in it didn’t have the steamy, hot intimacy that most romance books have, that bring people together and feelings to light.
No, this book was raw but tender-filled with guilt and longing that two people thought were lost but never truly was. Cassian and Calla’s strong will and stubbornness cost them everything in the past- but true love can’t be or won’t be forgotten, when it never left to begin with. Loved everything about this story.

the story was interesting

I didn’t like Calla. I understood the character but she was selfish, and self possessed. She wasn’t ready for marriage. She was immature. Cassian was ready. He was able to compromise. She was not. It’s a difficult story because there are a lot of loose ends for them to get together. I think it was well written. I think the character development was good. It’s a story worth reading.

Dr Cassian & Dr Calla, once married are brought back together to work when Calla is hired at the hospital he works at. Cassian has been in a relationship for 8 months with Maya. But, Cassian and Calla have unresolved issues to work through while working along aside each other. And, some secrets come back to haunt them as well. The story and characters really drew me in. Still liked the first
book better though.

His To Heal

Overcoming hardships, chances for advancement in their career, five years apart and never losing the love they once had for each other, two trauma surgeons were given second chances. Good story.

I loved this author's latest two books. That writing was so very good.

So I have to wonder, whatever happened with these earlier 2026 books she 'supposedly' wrote. They lack any writing skills. I find it hard to believe that the same 'Stacy Sterling' wrote them.

It was ok but not great. Big parts of story missing. Other parts troubling.
It was like a condensed version. Wish I could say more.
