⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The title really should have warned me. The Temptation Test lives up to its name because I couldn’t resist. Let's just say this book is responsible for a rather accidental extended lunch break (almost 2 hours over…oops!!). I couldn't put it down, my curiosity got the better of me, and I just had to keep reading to find out what happened next.
Rachel’s writing hooks you in so effortlessly. I loved the flawed characters and the moral complexity surrounding their choices. The tension builds so naturally, and I found myself completely invested. I genuinely felt as though I had become Dev, seeing everything through his perspective. I’m still thinking about the moral questions the story raises. How would I react? Am I looking for justice, or redemption?
This isn't a light-hearted thriller. It's a story of survival, obsession and impossible choices, weaving in some heavy topics with real emotional depth. I finished it with so many thoughts and feelings, which is exactly what I want from a book.
This was my first Rachel North novel, and it certainly won't be my last. I'll be adding more of her books to my TBR.
