Scott Snyder is the Eisner and Harvey Award winning writer on DC Comics Batman, Swamp Thing, and his original series for Vertigo, American Vampire. He is also the author of the short story collection, Voodoo Heart, published by the Dial Press in 2006. The paperback version was published in the summer of 2007.
There are multiple issues in this volume that feel like filler and are out of place, because things that happen in the issue don't really have any significance or don't actually happen? the main Abomination story is excellent and the art is phenomenal, Absolute Zero's art isn't the best though, I really like the new versions of Joker and Bane, and I like where this series is going with Penguin, Killer Crock, Two Face and Riddler. All the new character versions are honestly really good. The Ark M storyline is very interesting and the plot writing is very well done. Without the few odd filler issues this is easily a 5 star. I can't wait to see where this goes in the next volume.
