Ummm 🤨, maybe I’ve been exposed too & or indoctrinated by some many urban fictional romances gone awry. Nonetheless, Alyssa was too aloof & mysterious to be a professional public figure 👀🤔⁉️ (“Somebody’s Watching Me”🤭 1980’s 🎶single by Rockwell aka Barry Gordy’s son featuring King of Pop MJ🤭🤷🏾♀️) Why is/was she always the target ⁉️Consequently, I’d prefer more context on these MFCs & their family’s & or friends history before pilfering the Oakwood Falls bachelor community🤭. Meanwhile, “Under His Watch: A Short & Steamy Single Dad Romance (The Brotherhood of Oakwood Falls Series)” was still a good read.
Under His Watch is proof that protection isn’t just physical it’s emotional too. Terrence and Alyssa were both running from loss in different ways and forced proximity made them finally stand still. He learned that guarding his heart didn’t keep him safe it kept him lonely. Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is stop running and let someone protect you back.
