Kirchberger has done it again...I wonder how long she can keep doing it???
I absolutely loved this standalone but I feel like it's one of those books that could be a whole series with the world. I right away got all kinds of feelings when I read it.
wow the details made you feel like you were right. sucked into the world and you feel like there's something off Peter Pan Alice in Wonderland vibes. it's a mix of it all. you get pirates and you get sirens. I love it! the adventure and how there're mysterious things that are going on.
it is definitely one of my favorites.

Shadows of Never is a captivating reimagining that echoes the whimsical yet haunting spirit of Peter Pan. We follow Elara, a protagonist whose deep-seated craving for adventure leads her to the mysterious land of Never. While the trials she faces there are mentally and emotionally taxing, her resolve never wavers. Then there is Kye—the MMC who completely stole my heart. He is a complex character who easily earned a spot on my "all-time favorite book boyfriends" list. This story gripped me from the very first page, and my only complaint is that it ended far too soon.
