Some bits were funny, but mostly this is not my cup of tea...I'll read the second volume I bought as well and console myself with the fact that it was cheap.

Well, that was weird.

I tossed this onto an online order because it was only 200 yen and I was curious. Let's! Haikyuu?! is the official gag/parody comic strip for the main Haikyuu!! comic and...uh, it's not good.

(Weirdly, the art is very well done, but I digress.)

There were three main problems:

1. There are seven four-panel strips per 30-page chapter of the manga. Coming up with 7 visual gags or puns with such scant material...well, that sounds like hell and it shows.
2. Dialing some behaviors that are funny in the main comic up to eleven, at which point they become creepy and undermine the character development.
3. Heavy reliance on boob and puke jokes.

But hey, now I don't have to buy the rest!

I found most of the chapters to read so marking it as read.

It was mildly funny. I like that Tsukki's love of dinosaurs was brought up. 🧡🦖🦕

Parodia comica del manga di Furudate, è una lettura leggera leggera. Molte strisce sono divertenti, ma ce ne sono un po’ abbastanza strane (umorismo giapponese).
Nel complesso godibile.

Even though I already watched the anime, manga is still as exciting! If you're into sports and don't mind reading manga, definitely read this! (maybe message me about it if you do..)
