A nineteen-year-old boy has been watching his neighbor for several years taking guys into his house and doing things to them that awakened the lust inside the protagonist. Every weekend Derrick waits for his neighbor to arrive with his new toy so he can go to his favorite place behind the neighbor’s window and listen to all that goes between them. Until one day his turn comes up!
The book has two different scenes one is Derrick with his neighbor and the other is group sex between Derrick, his friend Adam, and Daniels with his driver. Although Derrick’s scene with his friend is nice and steamy it felt somehow disjointed from the main theme of the book. This scene is more about two friends discovering each other sexually for the first time while the major theme is more about a boy discovering his desire for an older man and the desire to be dominated. The domination scene was a bit light for my taste. Maybe the author wanted this to be just an introduction to the BDSM scene for the boy and since there are three more books in the series I expect more things to happen in them. I read some of the reviews complaining that this was originally written with two females and the names were just changed in this version. I don’t know what to say about that but I know I would not be happy if I have read the other version first. OK, maybe my review sounds more criticizing the story than praising it but in fact, I wanted to make these points clear to you so that if you are OK with all that I had mentioned then you will enjoy the story. The sex scenes were very good and overall it was an entertaining read but I definitely expect more from the next book.

This was a short quick read that was ok an I wish it was longer. This was my first time reading this author and this book was pure sex I wish there was a little more story in it. I would be mad if my neighbor was listening to me having sex and getting off on it. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

2.5 stars The sex in this was fair, and really, that's why we read stories like this. There was lot of pulling-things-out-of-one-hole-and-shoving-them-into-another, and it was all over rather quickly. Both scenes were fine individually, but it would have been nice if Derrick pulled them together by saying "well since I can't have Mr. Davis, I'll go out and fuck another hot older guy." But instead this was basically just made up of two unrelated scenes.

The plot:
Well that's the thing there wasn't much of one besides sex, I thought the whole neighbor thing would be explored more and maybe a romance would form amongst the sex. But no. Plus I did enjoy the first half of this where the main character goes out to the club with his best friend and what happens with that, but it didn't connect at all to the second half I saw a different reviewer who really got it right by saying that it would've made sense if it was like "oh if I can't have Mr Davis I'll just go for a different older man.
The Characters:
Derrick-
Was alright and I feel like he could've been a really strong character but wasn't formed enough.
Adam-
Kinda the same story like Derrick kept saying he didn't see his friend in that way but Adam seemed all for it so the author could've explored that further like maybe Adam had feelings for his best friend.
Mr.Davis-
This was the only character that I didn't mind not learning as much about because he was supposed to be mysterious.
Overall:
The scenes were well written and of course steamy, but I felt like this was just a lot of unfulfilled potential. Like I'm aware that this is the first book in a series and that things might get more fleshed out as it goes along but this felt more like a first draft to me rather than the revamped version.

BFF Adam hatches a plan; he wants to seduce Daniels. But he needs Derrick’s help.
Very little preparation. The action has some hot moments, but is mostly too step-by-step clinical. Almost-nonexistent physiology.
Threesome, foursome…Derrick and Adam alone together is actually the best part she writes.
These twinks are really, really loose if they can have guys just slide in “with one powerful motion.” It’s just…weird. Feels sloppy. Are they actually super promiscuous, or is the author just lazy?
Inexplicable decisions regarding condom usage.
She really rushes through a lot of her writing. If she took her time a bit more, the lust build could actually be a thing. Here? It’s just…action. We don’t even get a sense of why Derrick is so obsessed with Mr. Davis.
Their scene together (bare, but still odd) is also bizarre. It’s not, like, blink and you miss it…but it does read like a highlights reel of how a woman imagines a gay sex scene should be written.

This was very short.
This short story reads like a plot paragraph on the first sheet of paper. The characters are not fleshed out and the night club set up was a tad bit unrealistic considering how grounded everything was before that scene occurred. Would I recommend it? Unfortunately, no I would not. More detail would have helped.

Okay, so this was a re-publish changing the gender of the characters. The 'story' is actually two short scenes that are basically unrelated, only connected by a single character (in both). Erotica that seemed poorly thought out or set up completely. Had the two individual scenes been seperated and expanded upon... this might have been good.

liked the characters and the blatant voyeurism between them. Derrick and Adam go to The Lounge and hook up with the object of Adam's fantasy, Daniels and his chauffeur, James. Meanwhile Derrick has been spying on his neighbor, Mr. Davis and masterbating while listening to him and the men he brings home. Wished it was more of a story not just scenes and sex.

Now I know why I got this free on Amazon - not the best, should have been combined with others to make a better story. Very little plot, which I guess was the point, but could have been expanded more.

This book is identical to the previous reviewed Kept. The author merely changed the characters names, changed some of the sex slightly. If you open both books, they are almost identical with this book being gay males and Kept being bisexual women.
The sex scenes in the two books are identical with identical positions. I do not find homosexuality erotic - YMMV.

That was much less erotic than I expected. The story was chalked full of sexual scenes, but they all went by so quickly and didn't have quite enough descriptiveness. I am disappointed.

This one has stuff that a lot of the other shorts I've read recently have missing - an aim at a plot, chemistry and character building.
You really get to know Derrick in the beginning and his voyeuristic tendencies with the neighbour Mr Davis. Then he and Adam go to a club and end up having a 3/4some with some random guy Adam has his eye on - Daniels (and his chauffeur). So far, it's very well written as a hook-up and nothing else. It had potential, because either Daniels prefers Derrick to Adam or he just likes having two guys at one time, but there was something there that went unexplored. The chemistry between Adam and Derrick should have went somewhere too. But it didn't.
But then it went back to Mr Davis, who I'm not so keen on. He comes across (to me) as a dirty-old-man-next-door type and I just can't find that sexy. At all. I don't think I'll be reading any more of these. With prior warning that Adam 'disappears' from the story and the rest is all about sex, I have no interest in reading the rest. If you're going to introduce characters like Adam, Daniels and the driver, who are interesting, then keep them and do something with them. Mr Davis is the main reason I won't be continuing, though.
