This author has become one I can count on for a short, complete story with interesting characters with often complex backgrounds so you get a feel for the characters more than just in the moment, ones that engage me from the first page to the last. Plots, settings and situations are realistic, ones it is easy to relate to and identify with, sexy times are explicit and hot, with characters reaching a HFN at least, often on their way to a HEA which is foreseeable in the future.

Steven has had a housing issue come up and his best friend Connor offers him the spare bedroom at his dad’s house (where Connor currently lives, too.). Connor will be out of town for two weeks but he insists his dad won’t mind if Steven stays. Steven is reluctant, he has been attracted to Connor’s dad, Mark, for years, but he currently has nowhere to go, so he agrees. The first couple of days after Connor leaves are tense, but after an unwitting confession by Steven, Mark knows just what Steven needs, and he supplies it. Caught up in a world of their own, each supplying the other with what they need, the question of what does this mean, where (if anywhere) is it going, and what about Connor becomes a stressful focus for both, as each must comes to terms with truths about themselves and what they want, and is a path to being true to themselves possible without hurting someone they both care about. We don’t have a cliffhanger, more a HFN, but I was satisfied with where they were in the relationship at the end.

These books are short, but I find time speeds up when reading them. Not sure why, except I do get drawn in quickly and can hardly put them down. If you like short, complete stories with great characters, I can easily recommend this author and his variety of books. I hope you get involved with them as much as I do.

4.5 stars a great read
Steven needed somewhere to stay for a couple of weeks while he sorted out his lease and his best friend Connor told him he could stay at his dad‘s house as he wasn’t there and there was a room going free. Now the only problem with that is Steven has got a humongous crush on Connor‘s Dad Mark. would he be able to cope being underneath the same roof alone with Mark??
I’ve got to say I felt the passion between these two was real but Mark who had had his son young never explore this side of sexuality so he wasn’t out but he knew he wanted Steven. But at the end of the day when Connor is due home what will happen? Will they just play happy families or will Mark panic about coming out??
I really enjoyed these two I thought they made a lovely couple and I could understand both Mark and Steven’s points of View the passion they shared was explosive but the only reason I didn’t give this Book five stars is because I felt the ending wasn’t finished. It’s left me wanting more. I’d want to know how this goes so I’m thinking is this a series or has Jason left it up to us to decide? I’m not sure.

This book is a part of the MM Older Men Behaving Badly series and focuses on Mark and Steven. Steven is in need of temporary housing when his best friend Connor suggests that he stay at his house with his dad Mark. With Connor out of town while he’s staying at the house, things between Steven and Mark heat up and leave them finding out so much about themselves. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

Good Boy is about Steven and Mark. Steven needs a place to live and his best friend suggest that Steven can live with his dad. Steven has had a crush on Connor's dad Mark.

This was a quick and smutty HFN read. I would like to read more about them and how Connor would react to found out that his best friend and dad were together.

"Good Boy" by Jason Pound, is a good, smutty, quick read. I enjoy books by this author and am never disappointed. Steven and Mark are great characters and the pull between them is undeniable. While I did not feel short changed by the ending I would have loved to see more!!!.

Good Boy is part of the Older Men Behaving Badly series and can be read as a standalone. This is a best friends dad, age gap read about Mark and Steven. I really enjoyed this story and the characters, if I had a complaint it would be that I wanted even more and I would love to know how Connor felt about his friend and dad.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Mark and Steven are attracted to each other but don't act on it. I liked how close proximity changes that and they fall for each other. They still have to deal with some things but I think they will make it.
