Barnett Springs Romance

Feeding the Flames

Sometimes your soulmate has been right in front of you their whole life. It shouldn’t take almost losing them to find them.

Volunteer firefighter Zac Buchanan has been carrying a torch for Tabatha Morgan since…well, forever. A promise he made years ago backfired, sending Tabatha into the arms of another man, and him into a decade of heartache. Now Tabatha’s back in town, newly divorced, and the sparks between them are setting them both aflame.

Tabatha would have bet her secret five-alarm chili recipe that her school girl crush on Zac had died out long ago. Except those slumbering embers reignited the moment Zac walked into her diner. Now each time she sees him—hears him, thinks about him—she can’t imagine her life without him again.

But if their new-found love and sizzlin’ hot action in the bedroom—and living room, kitchen and bathroom—is to survive, Tabatha must also accept the smoke, flames and danger of Zac’s job. Or their happy-ever-after will forever be extinguished.

I'll freely admit that I absolutely love this story, and given the dedication in it you'll know why. :)

Guys, this is one that will set you on fire, so you might keep the fire department on speed dial! *winks*

***I was provided an ARC for an honest review***

Leah Braemel gives us an awesome Firefighter story and who doesn't love a good firefighter romance!. There were even a couple of connections to other books by Leah, however the connection wasn't the kind that makes you go back and read the other book or series. I love when you read a book and if you've read the others you get an awww moment but you don't have to have read the others to enjoy this one, it's just an added bonus. The characters were wonderful, fun and hot! One of the things I love about Leah's writing is her attention to detail and her ability to provide clear and concise characters. It's not just a romance and the firefighters are not just a "part" of the story to make it grab that genres attention. The action and the "fear factor" is right there along side the romance. It's a great read through and through.

Hometown!

Feeding the Flames: He always had eyes for Tabitha but could get the nerve to ask her out. Then he thought Quinn was drooling over so he thought the right thing and step aside for his best friend. Then Quinn knocked some sense into him. So he went back to the diner to talk to Tabby. It was a good strong romantic story!

I read this when it was part of the Five Alarm Alpha's boxed set some months ago. It has been released as a single now and is the first in a new series by Leah Braemel. This is a hot little read about second chance love and being brave enough to let that other person know you care for them as more than a friend and hope the same is returned. Zac Buchanan is fighfighter along with his best friend Quinn. Thinking he owed it to that Quinn he tries to push Tabatha Morgan the woman he's wanted for years, together. All out of some dumb sense that he owed his friend and a promise made years earlier. It doesn't take his friend long to nip that in the bud and set Zac and Tabatha on a romantic path together. The two just click but like any relationship there are always obstacles in the road. They have to decide if they can deal with that might happen in the future. Love how Leah Braemel starts out this new series about Firefighters. Zac is sex on a stick and Tabatha is as crazy about him as he is for her. My only complaint is i wish the book had been longer. Can't wait to hopefully see more of this couple in future books in the series.

Feeding the Flames 4*
Tabatha Morgan and Zachary Buchanan have been friends since childhood. Zach's always seen Tabby as his best friend Quinn's little sisters friend until high school when he started to notice her as something more. Zach never acted on his feelings so Tabby moved on getting married because Zach took a job and moved away. Eight years later Tabby's divorced and back in town and sexier then ever but Zach still hasn't noticed her as a woman at least to her knowledge. Zach knows Quinn has a thing for Tabby and he's taking the back seat again so Quinn has a chance at happiness. Little does he know that his ploy to get them together is about to back fire.
This is a very fast paced sexy read. Zach is a total alpha and oh so hot!!! I liked that Tabatha was a strong heroine and when asked was not afraid to ask for what she wants. I want Quinn to get his HEA. He pretends he's happy but theres an underlying sadness that breaks my heart.

I am a sucker for second chance love stories. Tabatha(Tabby) and Zac have been friends since childhood, but because we are all a little stupid in high school, nothing happened. Their lives took them in separate directions, but now, Tabby's divorced and back in town, and even though it's a rough start, they finally make the connection. I love Tabby. She is mature, sexy, and even though Zac is a total alpha, Tabby is no shrinking violet. This was a hot read for a perfect summer day at the beach. (BTW - I hope Zac's BFF gets his own story.)

I loved this story! Zac and Tabitha have amazing chemistry and their sexy times are smoking hot. I originally read this as part of the Five Alarm Alphas box set and recently re-read it when I found out it was being released on its own. I loved all the interactions and characters (not to mention the cameo b Dirt Road Graduates, Jake Grady's band from No Accounting for Cowboys) I cannot wait to see what is next for these characters and this town!!

Love in the Diner

Take one super hot fireman, add one feisty diner owner, get them to admit they like each other, and stand back so you don't get scorched. This is a true love story, and the sex is really hot too! It is a very enjoyable book, and I would recommend it to anyone who is over 18, did I mention that the sex scenes were hot.

very good

Enjoyed reading this story!!! Characters were fun, and hot. Tabitha and Zac have been friends with Zac being her brothers best friend. Tab has always been in love with Zac but he seemed clueless. Tab finally agrees to a date and the rest is history. Hot hot. 5 stars

I think I’m really going to like this town! These two brought all the heat, and all the emotions. High school crush has a chance at reality? Of course, but he needs some not so subtle nudges by those around him. It doesn’t take much for these two to solidify that they are indeed each others forever once they make that connection <3
