Your computer has stopped responding. An orc will now reboot your heart.
Greg IT is supposed to be about systems, servers, and keeping chaos at bay. But then Sean Rivers walked in—human, grumpy, and a disaster with technology. Suddenly, patching servers comes with heated glances, playful banter, and some very hands-on troubleshooting. He’s got my world of logic and code crashing spectacularly… and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Sean I didn’t sign up to be anyone’s project—least of all a hulking, ridiculously cheerful orc who could lift me like a sack of flour. Yet here I am, navigating magical office chaos, endless forms, and Greg’s relentless charm. Between the flirty teasing, stolen touches, and squirting candies, a chemistry bubbles I can’t ignore. Maybe some problems can’t be solved on my own… but I never expected help from a nerdy orc with thick black glasses and shoulders that won’t quit.
Ctrl+Alt+Orc is the second book in the Love at Labyrinth Solutions series (but can be read as a stand alone) featuring a grumpy human/sunshine orc, lots of workplace humor and plenty of spice. If you like fated mates, significant size difference, and server room shenanigans, you've found your next read.
This was very cute. I would rate the story more as 3.5 stars just because there isn’t much going on besides sex and computer puns but it is a fun and quick read so I’m rounding it up to 4 stars!
I think the first book in this series had a bit more of a plot while this one is more sex. But it’s sex with feelings and finding your mate. I just think there could’ve been more involved. Sean has a sister he’s taking care of and she’s mentioned but I would’ve liked to see them together and see their dynamic. Greg is an orc and he’s green and big and c*ms a lot. Oh, and he’s a computer nerd. That’s basically all we get. I would’ve liked to know more about him and what being an orc in this fun world entailed. But I don’t think that was the authors intention. These books are lighthearted and that’s what you get.
ARC received for review All thoughts and opinions are my own
SHUT UP! THIS WAS ADORABLE. Ctrl+Alt+ Orc has been my feel good book of the year! Sean and Greg are two of the most ridiculously sweet Teddy-Bear-Cinnamon-Roll-Golden-Retriever sweet little babies I have ever read about. OMG. I love them.
Greg is the big, green Orc IT guy with slutty little glasses, pierced nipples and a big fat *horned* cock - Like, damn, Daddy 👀 Right?! He has the biggest fucking heart (and an even bigger dick. Okay okay, I’ll stop talking about his dick.) But, for real 🥵 He’s just so perfect and you will instantly fall in love with the big guy. The way he cares for Sean just gives you the warm and fuzzies!
Sean is the human new hire at Labyrinth Solutions with a massive “Good Boy” praise kink and a belly I just can’t get enough of. I’m here for it 🙌🏼 He was the -slightly- grumpy to Greg’s sunshine. He spends his life taking care of his sister and making sure she has everything… I just wanted someone to swoop in and take care of him for a change. - Insert Greg - riding in on his white horse, waffle iron in hand!
This book is full of sweet moments, lots of love, good food, vulnerable confessions, soulmates, beautifully vers MC’s and enough cum to fill an Olympic sized swimming pool! So, obviously you don’t wanna miss out of this one!
Thank you Gay Romance Reviews for the opportunity to read and review and eARC of Ctrl+Alt+ Orc!
Got to beta read this book and yall are going to LOVE this one. I just adore office romances (not irl, ew) and Greg is top tier book boyfriend material! Sean is no slouch either as our resident grump turned softie. I laughed so hard, Matt really outdid himself with the humor in this one! Don’t worry it still has buckets of cum 😂
TW - death of a parent (past, mentioned), grief (briefly mentioned), alcohol consumption
CW - hyperspermia
Tropes - paranormal, monster x human, size difference, workplace romcom, grumpy x sunshine
Representation - queer rep, MM
Sean (MMC) and Greg (MMC) meet when Sean starts a new job and runs into some IT problems, all solved by you’re truly.
The MCs were sweet and Greg truly was a gentle giant who was always there when Sean needed support. My head cannon is that Greg was causing the IT problems just to be around Sean 💀
Scale: ⭐️ - would've DNF'ed / continued out of spite ⭐️⭐️ - shit, but whatever ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - meh, could've been better ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - lit 👅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - loved it, inject this shit into my veins 🤪
I knew I was going to love this novel when I read this section of the author's note: "I kept wondering: what if the orc was the soft one? What if he was kind, thoughtful, a little awkward, and deeply invested in doing the right thing?"
CTRL+ALT+ORC is a delightfully fluffy, cozy romance. There is something just absolutely lovely about a giant Orc who is like, I like you, and I'm going to care about you, paired with a grumpy human who is like, fine, I'm not going to get in my own way. It's like pulling on your favorite oversized hoodie and fuzzy socks, then cuddling up under the softest blanket.
We are also treated to MA Wardell's signature blend of heartfelt moments, laugh-out-loud lines, and steamy, steamy scenes where the energy is "I want him to plow me like a snow-covered street."
While the story is low-angst, it is infinitely relatable. Even though Sean starts crushing hard in chapter one, his initial hesitation feels very natural. There is the pressure of starting a new job, while he adjusts to life's changes. And while he is definitely crushing on the IT guy, it makes sense that he worries about his new boss being the head of Beings Relations, and he questions whether this super-hot guy really likes him.
I love that CTRL+ALT+ORC focuses on Sean and Greg as they explore their connection and fall in love.
--- I received an advance copy of this book at no charge. This is my honest, voluntary review.
I am obsessed with this story! That might have something to do with the fact that I’m into orcs, but who knows. 😂 Sean and Greg were fantastic in this quick, low-angst, monster romance! The romance was sweet and the spice was just right!! And while Sean is hot in his own ways, it’s Greg that made me absolutely feral while reading this book! 😂
This is a super cute, short, low-angst office romance. I thought Greg was wonderful and loved his quiet determination to win Sean over.
The banter was cute, the puns endearing, and I love the little workplace ecosystem that MA Wardell has created with this series.
Not a perfect rating because there were a couple of things that took me out - I found Sean’s motivations a bit confusing at times and (I hate to say it, but) there was a crazy overuse of the phrase “good boy”.
All that said, I absolutely had a good time reading this and I’ll definitely pick up the next one.
Is the tech at Labyrinth Solutions sentient and trying to help the matchmaking process with Sean and Greg? I can’t prove it, but I loved it! Greg loves Sean’s little grumpy grumbles, and saving the day in the little ways 🥹 the BIGGEST green flag — literally because he’s a huge green orc, and figuratively because he’s the sweetest IT guy who can predict when problems will arise and fix things BEFORE you even have to ask! An orc who consistently shows up, is present, and aware of your needs? Cut. The. Show. There was ZERO chance of holding back feelings and it was impossible not to go out and buy multiple tarps to turn the bedroom into a safe splash zone when the time is right *IYKYK*
💚Workplace Mon-Com 💻Grumpy Human x Sunshine Orc 💚Fated Mates 💻Misbehaving Tech 💚He Makes Him Soup & Waffles 💻Holy Orc Balls 💚Squirting Candies 💻Vers Couple 😍🙌🏽 💚B.Y.O.T. - Bring Your Own Tarp 💦 💻He Loves to Eat 🍑 & Toy Play 💚“Good Boy” & Consent Kings
Greg is used to logic and code, rebooting systems, and patching servers – his routine is predictable…until Sean. Sean is the grumpy new human hire who is terrible with technology, and suddenly, their trouble-shooting becomes very hands-on…
Sean just started at Labyrinth Solutions and the last thing he needs is technical difficulties – he has enough problems to solve on his own. And the IT guy, Greg? He shows up with shoulders that won’t quit, a cheerful smile, and a pocketful of squirting candies. Somewhere between the flirty teasing and stolen touches, their chemistry can’t be ignored, and Sean finds that maybe it’s okay to rely on someone else.
I cannot handle how perfect this book was! 10/10 in the sweet department and a “grab a fan” level in the spice department! Greg is this gentle giant (unless Sean tells him not to be 👀🔥) out here with his sl*tty little glasses, pierced nipples and huge assets who’s improving Sean’s life without being asked and just making me melt. And Sean, is actually a secret softie under that grumpy exterior who really likes being Greg’s good boy, and I was here for it. Go start this series and do yourselves a favor and immersive read because the audio?! FANTASTIC. Greg Boudreaux knocked it out of the park!
This was such a sweet & spicy romance! Sean and Greg were adorable 💖 I can firmly say I much prefer a dorky and eager to please Orc over the traditional Orc archetype 😌
The main reason this doesn't get a higher rating from me is the fact that a lot of the romance felt...summarized. Early on we had several moments where the characters could've had conversations that went beyond just fixing the technology falling apart around Sean...but we just didn't. Instead, the author would just be like, "Oh we talked about x and y. Moving on to the next scene ✨️" It made the romance between the two characters feel less believable. Worst of all, conversations that could've happened earlier (and helped the sense of budding romance) all happened much later in the book in rapid succession.
Putting that aside, I did find the characters adorable. The trademark M.A. Wardell humor was definitely present here, and I always appreciate it. It made the dialogue snappy and fun to read. This was the case not only with our main characters but with the side characters as well. How am I supposed to resist lines of dialogue such as: "I, ugh... see, the thing is...well, you know how Splatters squirt in your mouth?" "Greg, I know how an orgasm works." How am I supposed to resist lines like that? The exact kind of humor I look for in monster romances 😂
The smut in this was also immaculate 🙂↕️ I love reading about verse couples. They breathe air into my lungs every time. I love the push and pull in that dynamic. It makes me genuinely happy to read about! It also warmed my heart that Greg's relationship with Sean was the first time he was able to explore being a bottom, as all his prior relationships always expected him to top 🥺 He deserved to have all his needs met without being forced into a box! 💖
Anyway. I'm excited to continue reading the books in this series! I genuinely don't even care about which characters in this world Wardell chooses to write about. I'm sure I'll have a blast with any and all of them 💁🏻♀️✨️
Ctrl+Alt+Orc is yet another charmer from the talented M.A. Wardell. I have fallen hard for his delightful stories about finding love at Labyrinth Solutions. This time around, it's Sean who is the grumpy guy and Greg is the lovable, jovial and truly adorable gentle giant. The nervous and stoic new hire and the sweet tech guy found a spark right from their first meeting. And armed with plenty of smiles, exploding candies and incredible geeky knowledge of all things tech, it wasn't long before Greg found the mate he had always dreamed about.
These books are the perfect antidote to a hard day or a particularly intense read. You can tell that Wardell is having a great time with these endearing characters and the descriptions of the creatures that inhabit this world are marvelous. The fact that Greg is a gentle giant, when excited, could paint a room with his essence, had me giggling every single time that happened. Sean, of course, couldn't see anything but the sexy green man and his prep for when he and Greg finally consummated their attraction was so darn cute!
These two haven't had it easy in the romance department and despite their differences in size and personality, they somehow fit perfectly together. I loved seeing Sean come out of his shell and Greg was beyond caring that his mate was well taken care of both in and out of the bedroom. In fact, it's the tender moments where each laid their hearts bare that really made this book special. Not to mention, Greg's penchant for home cooking that wooed Sean even more.
I can't wait for more in this well-crafted series as Wardell matches up the unexpected with resounding results. The very definition of opposites attracting, each book is light yet full of beautiful moments and explosive passion that give each character exactly what they need and deserve. That Labyrinth Solutions is surely the place for romance and I cannot wait to read about more of these wonderful employees and their search for love.
In the meantime, grab Ctrl+Alt+Orc for the perfect beach read.
I've been seeing this book everywhere lately on socials, so when I saw the opportunity arise to read a copy of this book early, I had to do so! I'm not super familiar with MA Wardell's writing, I have a bunch of their books on my TBR but have only been able to read one other book of theirs so far, until now.
This amazing story is about Greg, an IT specialist and a magician when it comes ro wrangling unruly computer systems, repairing computers that "just fell off the desk", and fixing crooked cupboard doors, among other things. And this story is also about the new guy who just got hired, Sean, who seems a bit overwhelmed at first but quickly settles in. Although, his computer seems to have a vendetta against him, but that's where the romance between these two start building!!
This book is absolutely fantastic, honestly, I have no notes. The writing was engaging, witty, funny, detailed, and I love how the author wasn't afraid to go all in with the tech related details and information. I really enjoyed how the writing had a comedic undertone to it, that made the whole reading experience so much more enjoyable for me. The characters themselves are absolutely amazing as well, I like how different they are from each other and yet somehow work/fit together do well. They truly are each other's person!
All the witty banter, along with the comedic and flirty dialogue these characters had, really helped portray their chemistry and how they had sparks from the very first conversation. The artwork for this book is what caught my eye, the blurb is what intrigued me enough to want to read it, and the writing, along with the characters is why I ended up loving it.
If you're looking for a low-angst, fated mates (ish), forced proximity, workplace romance, and want to read about adorable pizza dates, then you should absolutely read this book!
Ctrl+Arc+Orc is the sweet - and spicy - story of office orc nerd and IT extraordinaire Greg and newcomer Being Ressources admin Sean. Where Greg is the office sunshine, Sean brings his load of grumpiness in the perfect grumpy sunshine combo.
Ctrl+Arc+Orc is book 2 in the Love at Labyrinth Solutions, in a world humans and monsters cohabit. As always, i really love Matt's writing. Its funny, its witty, its SPICY, and it's really really sweet. Greg is a bottle of pure sunshine and we would all need him in our lives, that i am sure of. I also really appreciated was how it defied the "norms". Bigger man = top. Orcs = big meanie. Matt has been really good at deconstructing those preconceived ideas in the past and it works well here too.
But... while being really sweet, to me, like book 1, there was not enough "story" for me to really connect with the characters. Again, i wish it had been a fully fledge novel and not a shorter book. This universe seems so fun to me but we barely even get more than the two main characters. And even if more is coming, i still find myself wanting more of it all, more of the work place, more of the atmostphere, and, in this case, more of Sean's issues with everything IT.
All in all it was good, very sweet, and it reads really well.
Read if you like insta love, LOADS of spice, mate bonds, and a side of grumpy-sunshine.
Sean is starting his first proper office job at Labyrinth Solutions after spending years working as a waiter. On his very first day, though, things don’t exactly go to plan—he’s having an absolute nightmare with his computer. Luckily, Tech Support is on the case. Enter Gregg: a huge, grumpy, green orc with impressive tusks, slutty glasses, and a ridiculously sexy smile. Sean is instantly captivated, and it soon becomes clear the attraction is mutual. The moment Gregg lays eyes on Sean, the attraction hits him like a lightning bolt. Could Sean really be his fated mate?
I was lucky enough to read the first two books as ARCs (not orcs 😂), and they’ve both been such fantastic reads. It was so lovely catching up with Magnus and Jamie from book one. Sean and Gregg are absolutely adorable together. Their banter is hilarious, and they’re just so perfectly matched. There’s no bucket in this one, but a few other items make an appearance… if you know, you know. 😂 I also loved seeing a plus size, shorter human finding love with a huge orc. We don’t often see male plus size representation in romance, so it was lovely to see Sean get his happily ever after. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this book, and now I’m counting down the days until Clang’s story! My favourite line has to be: “Local computer nerd accidentally launches boyfriend through ceiling.”
ARC Review of CRTL+ALT+ORC by M.A. Wardell and because I picked the audio mid-book, narrated by Greg Boudreaux.
Drops July 21st - Get it! (Matt's website, 'Zon, KU, Audible, etc) Another winner! Love at Labyrinth Solutions is MY place for Mon-Coms! Greg and Sean combined make up 95% of my perfect man.
Greg: teddy bear of a man, nerdy, acts of service Sean: short, thicc king, knows what he wants (physically), lil bit grumpy
I love them! 😍
Fun? ✅ Character development? ✅ Fleshed out side characters?✅ Believable motivations? ✅ Believable fears and emotions?✅ Low angst?✅ Sizzling chemistry?✅ (even before the smex, with each other😉) Spicy?✅ Satisfying ending?✅ Did I want more?✅
I think that I need to commit to one M.A. Wardell book a month.🤔
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
If you're a fan of Meetings with the Minotaur, you'll be a fan of this! I also enjoyed the preview for the next book. Clang and Circumstance I almost forgot to mention that Greg Bourdreaux does fantastic work with ALL of the voices, not just the MCs. 🤩 This is why he's booked and busy.💅🏾
After enjoying Greg's appearances in Meetings with the Minotaur, I couldn't wait to get my hands on a copy of CTRL+ALT+ORC and was super excited to receive an ARC. Typically, I like to take my time and savor books, but I absolutely devoured this one over the weekend! This book is the perfect mix of sweetness, spice, and dorky fun. I loved every minute of it!
The second installment in the Love at Labyrinth Solutions series follows Greg, Labyrinth's IT hero, and the new BR admin, Sean, as they navigate multiple tech disasters and a budding romantic relationship. If you enjoy grumpy/sunshine, monster romance, caretaking (there's soup!), workplace humor, and fated mates tropes, this is a must-read!
I'm officially a fan of moncoms now thanks to M.A. Wardell. And as someone with aphantasia, I love, love, love character art and appreciate how Matt always commissions such great pieces for each of his books. It definitely enhances my reading experience, especially since I could actually see what Sean's horn looked like! 😂
I received an ARC from the author via GRR & this review only contains my honest thoughts and feelings about this book.💐
A bit too low angst for my tastes but it still made me want to read more about some of the characters (I'm looking at you Jack the mothman👀)
The smut was hot, but I needed a bit more depth in the story you know? I get that it's a pretty short book but I really needed to see who the characters truly were. Also, I do think Sean wasn't grumpy enough, he could have been waaaaay worse. Lastly, if I am to guess from the cover and his POV's picture, Sean is supposed to be on the thicker side right? Yet it was never explicitly stated. Greg kept calling him small, and I do get that compared to an orc almost everyone is small, but Sean didn't even have the inner thoughts and description of a thicker person you know? It felt kinda off, but maybe it was just me.
Over all, I didn't hate it, it was a fun quick read, but to me, something was missing.
P.S.: My father always says to be prepared. Who's your father, Baden Powell??
4 ⭐️ 🌶️🌶️1/2 - medium to heavy spice, a lot of explicit content 1st person, dual POV
I was already excited to read this one after the first book in the series. Then when I read the author’s note at the beginning, it had me clamoring even more for all the sweet and spicy goodness he hinted at!
Sean presented so grouchy and nervous, while Greg was patient and friendly. He was such a care-taker, which was exactly what Sean needed after being the responsible on for so long. They balanced each other well.
Sean did let his fear get the best of him for a bit, that silly fool, but sweet Greg knew his mate when he saw him and he knew just what to do.
The spice did not disappoint, which I knew I could count on 😉 and I love a verse couple. Go into this expecting plenty of realness around the realities of sex and fantastical elements because, y’know, Greg’s an orc with buckets of cum. The dichotomy is a lot of fun 😄
My curiosity is piqued for book 3!
Thanks to the author for the advance copy 💝 Releases July 21st!
I loved Sean (grumpy human) and Greg (sunshine orc)! They are both precious in their own ways. In this story, the orc doesn't use brute force and overpower with his size and physical strength. Instead, he blasts through Sean's walls with schmoopy sweetness, persistent optimism, and providing Sean with things didn't even know he needed- like praise 😉. It's not a one way street. Sean provides Greg with everything he needs as well, physically and emotionally. Like their relationship, this book is excellently balanced in all of the ways 💗.
🫶Grumpy/Sunshine 💗Vers couple 🫶Size difference, without power imbalance 💗Good Boy 🫶Need for a Tarp 💗What's a refractory period? 🫶Monster level 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
I received an ARC from the author, but I also purchased and listened to the audiobook. Greg Boudreaux did a stellar job on this!
This review was written 100% voluntarily and honestly. All opinions are my own.
This was my first read from M.A. Wardell and it was cute and fun! I'm a sucker for urban fantasy, so the setting was great. An office staffed with humans and mythical creatures, full of magic and quirks.
This is a fast burn, low angst romance so the relationship between Sean and Greg spins up quickly. They're very cute together, with IT orc Greg always appearing in the nick of time to rescue Sean from his computer and his self deprecation. Plus some fun monster romance tropes, like size difference and ~special equipment~.
This was a pretty short read, so as a result we don't get to learn too much about the characters. I wish we got to see about Greg's family and some more background on Sean.
The writing style of this was not my favorite, but that may be personal preference. It was very banter-y, almost like it was trying a little bit too hard to be sharp and witty. I still enjoyed the story though.
Ctl+Alt+Orc is a great addition to M.A. Wardell’s Love at Labyrinth Solutions world! In it you have Greg, an orc who works in IT with a heart of gold, and Sean, a grumpy human who can’t ignore the very sweet orc.
I really loved Sean and Greg in this! They are very cute together and the grumpy/sunshine dynamic was great! I also loved how there was minor conflict but they actually communicated about it.
The spice was also so good! It was a great mix of spice and sweet, with a good balance between the two.
I still haven’t read any other monster romance books but I’m thoroughly enjoying this series! Would definitely recommend so far as an intro to the genre if you’re unsure about it!
A short but great monster romance novella with a great mix of romance and spice! I’m very excited for Clang’s story next!
Thank you to the author for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I absolutely adore M.A. Wardell's Mon-Com books! Previously, I had no interest in monster-themed stories, but I took a chance and read the first book in this series, and I was blown away! Naturally, I couldn’t resist following up with the rest of the series—it’s just that good! I’m particularly fond of the Grumpy × Sunshine tropes, especially with the addition of a Golden Retriever Orc! Simply amazing!
This second installment can definitely be enjoyed as a standalone. I admire how Greg refuses to give up; he knows they are fated mates and won’t allow Sean to walk away from him. This couple is so sweet and lovable!
I can’t wait to dive into the third book in the series; I’m completely hooked and obsessed with these remarkable Mon-Com books. I doubt I could enjoy any other monster stories, except those by M.A. Wardell!
Thank you for this amazing opportunity to read the eARC, and I am happy to provide my honest review in return.
I was so happy when I got this ARC!! Monster romance is not usually my thing, but I will devour anything Matt writes, so here we are. I liked 'Meetings with the Minotaur' very much, so I was sure I was in for a ride (lit). 🙈
I fell in love with Greg on the spot, a sweet orc? Melting. I loved his little gestures towards Sean even before they started fooling around. He is too cute for words. And the laptop for Ashley? 😍😍 Sean... I just wanted to hug him tightly so he would feel safe. The mug was such a beatiful and thoughtful gift. ❤️
What I liked the most was that their relationship is not at all what's expected and Greg does not exclusively top.
The claiming kiss in the office had me squealing, I would be clapping with their coworkers if I were there, I'm sure. Can't wait for Clang's story.
Sean's new at the company, and when his PC broke, Greg the IT guy came to the rescue. Again, and again and again. They inevitably got closer together, and found out they're fated mates.
My face mask cracked because I was smiling too hard while reading this book.
This is so much better than the first book, and it's probably because there's no power imbalance here. They were both working in the same company though different department.
The grumpy sunshine worked well imo because it's the orc who is the sunshine, and I love to see how it's not stereotypical. I did appreciate the author as well, making notes about it and informing us that this book is the main characters being equal and partners in bed and out of it.
This book was very cozy, cute and adorable read which I devoured instantly.
Sean Rivers is starting his new job as Mr.Frost’s assistant at Labyrinth Solutions. His day doesn’t start the best when his computer decides to play up. He calls the IT guy, but when he turns up he is enamoured by him.
Greg Orsin is Labyrinth Solutions IT guy, there is no computer related issue he cannot fix. When Sean calls on his services, Greg has an attraction to the grumpy assistant. Greg soon realises that he and Sean and meant to be.
Sean is worried about his relationship with Greg becoming common knowledge, so he initially tries to hide it.
I loved this second book in M A Wardell series ‘Love at Labyrinth Solutions’ As with all of Mat’s books you fall head over heels with the characters, and are in their corner from the start. The writing flows effortlessly and the story is paced well. This series has been so much fun to read so far.
Slutty glasses will always be my kryptonite. And just like the first book, the second was followed up just as great. The growth that both characters had before getting with each other was amazing. I loved that Greg was so patient with Sean, understanding that he had a lot going on and never truly had someone to truly take things off his plate and just show him love. Did I mention the slutty glass was a 100% one of my favorite things about this book? Only one of my favorite reads of Pride Month. When the Arc was released, I immediately dropped everything to read it.
M.A. Wardell, thank you for allowing me to have early access to this book. If you’re looking for something short and spicy, this is definitely a good one.
ARC READER*** The bucket has been replaced with a tarp this book!! 😋
I loved Greg and Sean hahaha what basic office worker names. Perfect for their story! You should definitely pick up this book to fall in love with the both of them. Greg the nerdy IT guy who just wants someone to love him as much as he would love them and Sean the overworked new to corp life baby who needs to let go and let someone be there for him sometimes (if you know me in the real world, leave me alone 😋)
This is a very sweet and spicy story that’ll have you wishing for there to be more pages and not an end in sight.
This is the second book in the series and the teaser for the third book has me so excited for it!! I’ll TRY and be patient 😋
A very spicy, fun and low angst read. Greg is an IT technician, video game nerd and even though he is very attractive he didn’t have any serious relationships since he really wanted a connection with someone and to find what his parents have - a true mate bond. In walks Sean, a human who has had a pretty rough life until now. When they meet the connection is immediate yet Sean doesn’t immediately give in to it, Greg refuses to give up and fights for their love. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick low angst read, definitely will be checking out the first book in the series and looking forward to the next one! Than you GRR and the author for providing me with an ARC copy so i can leave my honest review
This was such a surprising read. We have an MM monster/human workplace romance, grumpy/sunshine, IT nerd and overwhelmed admin, a lot of tech-puns, low angst, and so much sweet and hot moments.
Sean is my people! And Greg is incredibly sweet and patient. I love how he is an orc but he's sweet and nerdy and a gamer, instead of the hyper-tough portrait orcs get in romance books. I loved his book so much, and surprisingly I cried, because I didn't expect for some of the things Sean has going through his mind to resonate with me so much. That aside, I giggled a lot too. These two are adorable, and punny and incredibly dirty.
I want to thank M.A. Wardell and his team for the opportunity of receiving an eARC of this book. My reviews and opinion are my own.
