Captured by the Highland Villain: A Scottish Historical Romance Novel (Lasses of the Highland Hunt Book 3), my seventh read from author Keira McCain, a 373-page Scottish Highlander historical romance. I loved the storyline involving a plus-sized woman, no spoiler though, you'll have to read the excellent book. There are so many Scottish historical romances out there, but they're popular and I read my share of them. McCain is in good company along with Jayne Castel, Glynnis Campbell and others. With every books she writes her craft shines more. “I received a complementary Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author as they're published. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

“Captured by the Highland Villain” by Keira McCain

-A gripping Highland romance filled with danger, heartache, and unexpected tenderness. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.

Piper and Elijah share intense chemistry as two wounded souls who find strength in each other. Fast-paced, emotional, and immersive, this story keeps the pages turning and leaves the reader eager for more.

Captured by the Highland Villain is a gripping Highland romance that hooked me from the very first page. Piper and Elijah’s chemistry crackles as two wounded souls find strength, love, and redemption in each other. With danger, heartache, and moments of unexpected tenderness, McCain delivers a fast‑paced, emotional story enriched by vivid adventure, brave characters, and a heroine who refuses to take things at face value. A beautifully written tale that blends suspense, passion, and historical detail—highly recommended for fans of Scottish romance.

3rd in a series by Lasses of the Highland Hunt wow, so good!

This series is well written with a pull that will keep you turning the pages. A story of cruelty that becomes a lifetime of love for a young Lass. A daughter beaten and sold. A Laird that finds a Lass he cannot live without. A beautiful story for sure.

Awesome adventure

A beautifully written book with adventure, excitement, and intrigue! The fighting scenes were amazing. The characters were awesome and very brave. I really love how he saved her and the ride back to his clan was extremely interesting and funny at times. Thanks for sharing your adventures!!!

A Highland Romance

Piper is a rushed by parental despots. She learned kindness, self worth, and gained an education from a neighbor who passed away when she was 14. Sold as a slave by her parents, she is abused even more until she tried to run away. A tender love story where both main characters need rescuing. I’ve enjoyed this series.

Sometimes family isn't what it should be

Sometimes family isn't what it should be, by the choices we make, now those choices are worth while. Keira McCain brings this to light in her latest page turner. Don't miss out on the adventure.

Rescued by the Laird

Loved this story. The stories of rescues are so well written I very much enjoy them. This one of a lass who becomes a governess for her rescuer is especially good.

Captured by the Highland villain

This book was the best so far. The only flaw was that he didn't explain why he was rescuing her at the beginning of the book.

Great love story

This an amazing story of love and forgiveness. How two hearts broken by lifted cruelty and tragedy that finds peace and hope through each other.
