“Pack only what you can carry.”
Because everything else can be taken from you.

Jay Calder thought losing hockey was the worst thing that could happen to him.
But he was wrong.

A new name.
A new passport.
A new country every time the air starts to feel wrong.

Jay’s life becomes a series of safe houses with cameras in the corners and phone lines that only go one direction.

“Let me call my mother,” Jay whispers.
Viktor raises his voice. “No.”

And then, a miracle happened, and Jay was offered the one thing he thought was gone forever.

If this book isn’t Ai then some serious reworks need to happen.

Thoughts are repeated multiple times on the same page and chapters.

Half the time thoughts make no sense and circle back for no reason. I thought it was just really bad but I’m certain this has to be Ai or something because it’s just terrible.

There is also no Instagram or anything for “Winston McCoy” as an author or any other place to find him other than goodreads and Amazon.

So unfortunate to see the reading space taken over with Ai slop

Wow, what a build from Book one, here we see the dynamics shift, the two predators, both made overtime, like a methodical waltz with notes of steamy passion mixed in. A bit more technical but we see the complexities in the two leads and then that final chapter as one motivating climax to push us further into the fire of Book three! I cannot wait!
