Wow. This is awesome. Caelum and Mara enemies to friends... magic and the people who want it....
Yess Caly you did a fantastic job on this story. it kept me riveted and crushed me with a cliff hanger!!! like did you really just do that to me?!?
this is a magic infused fantasy that will sweep you in and not let go.. I highly recommend.

A debut novel that brings what it promises.
I love the dual POV of the two main characters, both of whom often behaved in a way I didn't predict. The world building is beautiful, I could have spent longer in the initial journey and learnt more of their world, but I do love how it gets straight into the action.
A tantalisingly slow burn, forced proximity, enemy to lovers story that has definitely left me wanting more.
I can't wait for book two!

3.5 ⭐️
The formatting on this one really made it tough for me(kindle edition). This is not a preferred genre for me, but the story was engaging. I will definitely continue the series as it was super well written. Hopefully the kindle version can get an update it really would have helped. A great start for this new author!
