Fangs & the Revenant: A Dark MM Romance

Rate this book
He’s a vampire with a mouth that should be illegal.

I’m a Blood Warden who refuses to die.

Lyric Vörös was supposed to be taken into custody, not assigned to me.

Instead, I’m his handler—chained to a six-hundred-year-old vampire with a talent for chaos, a lethal power of compulsion, and absolutely no respect for authority, personal space, or my furniture.

I don’t trust him.

He doesn’t behave.

And somehow, the Wardens decided this was a good idea.

As cults rise, mirrors lie, and ancient monsters start peeling open the minds of their victims, Lyric and I are forced into a partnership built on violence, bad decisions, and mutual irritation. I can’t be compelled. He can’t be controlled. And the closer the danger creeps, the harder it becomes to tell whether the real threat is the enemy—or the thing growing between us.

We fight monsters.

We fight each other.

We definitely say “I hate you” a lot.

But hate doesn’t look like this.

And love has never been more dangerous.

Fangs & the Revenant is a dark gay romance filled with brutal action, sharp banter, morally questionable choices, and two idiots who would rather die than admit they care—except dying doesn’t always stick.

Hi, I’m Violet Kensington!

I write dark romance and psychological horror. If you enjoy obsessive love, emotional damage, supernatural chaos, and the occasional snort, you’re in the right place.

My office is usually occupied by dogs demanding attention while I’m trying to convince my characters to make better life choices (they never listen).

I have a weakness for gothic aesthetics, anime, rainy days, and creating fictional worlds that readers can disappear into for hours. Whether it’s vampires, warlocks, werewolves, cursed magic, or dangerously possessive love interests, I believe every story should make you feel something.

Thank you for stopping by my little corner of the darkness. I hope you find a story that keeps you awake far past your bedtime.

Happy reading!

Fangs and the Revenant was a complete and unexpected delight—one of those rare books you stumble upon by chance and end up thinking about long after you’ve turned the last page. I went in with minimal expectations and came out utterly captivated.

The banter is nothing short of immaculate: sharp, clever, and effortlessly engaging, providing moments of humor that feel natural and perfectly placed. The “two idiots in love” dynamic is executed to perfection—equal parts frustrating and endearing—and creates a delicious tension that keeps you hooked. The slow burn is truly burning, unfolding at a pace that allows every glance, every word, and every near-miss to matter.

What truly sets this book apart, however, is its emotional depth. The trauma carried by the characters is not merely a plot device, but an integral part of who they are. Their past wounds inform their fears, their defenses, and the way they struggle to trust and love.

This emotional weight adds a powerful layer of realism and complexity, making their connection feel hard-won and deeply meaningful. The emotional damage is intense, but it’s precisely what makes the story so impactful.

The balance between darkness and tenderness is beautifully handled, and the supernatural elements only enhance the atmosphere without overshadowing the character-driven narrative. By the end, I felt fully invested—not just in the romance, but in the healing, growth, and vulnerability that make it possible.

I’m genuinely grateful I found this book. It’s immersive, emotionally rich, and unapologetically compelling. A standout read and an easy five stars.

This book was so good!

I loved reading this book. Start to finish it was a story of absolute heartache and healing. The action was intense and kept my heart rate up (and so did the spice 🔥 ) Lemon, of course, the star of the show. Here’s hoping a book with Saint is coming next.
