3.75 ⭐️!!

Oh my gosh for being a debut fantasy this series has so much potential I cannot wait to get more books. Definitely a fast paced fantasy with twists throughout that had me ripping through the pages. The characters felt so real & the relationships built throughout the story were so organic. I loved the magical element, it is something I hadn’t read before and it brought a new element to communication that was very unique! The regimes are such a cool concept & we hardly get into them this book so there is much to look forward to 👀

At first I wanted to scream at Aura (she was giving Nesta sitting on a rock #iykyk) but her growth and inner strength was so worth the journey. I really enjoy her as a FMC & her sass was so comical. Too many moments where I was laughing out loud…so without saying too much & adding spoilers…read it, I promise it won’t disappoint 👏🏼

Thank you so much Julia for gifting me your first ever published book! I am so impressed & I am dying for book 2 with that cliff hanger. I need more!!

Whisper of the Gale is a must-read that blends fantasy with the intense emotional stakes of a second-chance/enemies-to-lovers romance. The plot twists made it a fast paced fantasy that was hard to put down. Whether you’re a romantasy lover, or new to the genre, this book should be on your short list! Everything you love in a romantasy is done in such a unique way— new magic elements, a FMC fighting to find her inner strength, and a budding romance filled with tension and witty banter. The characters are by far one of the strongest aspects of the world. Each one is grounded in a way that felt so raw and real, making their relationships feel genuine and organic. If you’re looking for a new series, this needs to be added to your TBR list. As a debut novel— I have really high hopes for the rest of the series and can’t wait for more books from this author.
