An excellent guide introducing the game of chess to the masses. It gives sufficient details of all the pieces including their points value and movements, as well as definitions of chess terminology, tactics, hints, tips and recording systems.

In addition, this concise guide contains a small magnetic chess board (labelled under the algebraic system) that can be kept in a zipped plastic folder in the front of the book with the full chess set pieces stored in a box that runs along the spine, so once you have finished reading, you are good to go.
