Mystery and History, the Perfect Combination!

This is a fantastic mystery thriller, by midway through, it is impossible to put down! Zoe and her African Grey parrot, Atticus, are very engaging characters. The characters they meet in this latest book, are quirky and interesting. I love how it starts off with a piece of Civil War history! The description of the Appalachian Mountains and the town of Jonesborough is so realistic, I feel like I have been there before. I love how backgrounds and situations seamlessly weave into ever more complex scenarios. The history, the small town feel, and the fast paced mystery make for a wonderful read, I was sorry when it ended! Looking forward to the next book in the Zoe Nichols Van-Life series!

Fun, Entertaining Read

It's always enjoyable to spend a few hours reading Abby Rice's Van-Life books. While the mystery/suspense parts can get a little heavy, the humor and camaraderie brings the storyline back to an even keel. Atticus is a great secondary character and adds interest all on his own with his quirky imitations.
