Jersey hasn’t given up on love, despite having her heart broken by her son’s father. She falls for Emmanuel quickly, never knowing that he has a wife. When she finds out, it’s too late. This review is from: Misplaced Affections (Kindle Edition)

Misplaced Affections written by Aleya Mishell was well written, enjoyable, exciting and memorable novel.

Yes, it was scenes from everyday life, but you told it so well.
The author used a guideline from the real world and placed it between the pages of Misplaced Affections.
Emmanuel was a man of wondrous roaming, he was average in his feelings of "when karma comes to bite you, you can't take it".
The characters had a lot to deal with and the moral of the story was "children didn't ask to come into this world, they are the innocent ones". I liked that in the end the author had the adults do what was right and "fake" make up for the concern and care for the child.
Mrs. Mishell told this story in an elegant fashion, the story leaped off the pages and grabbed you in and did let you go.

Well done, amazing job!
