Detective Alyssa Wyatt #7
Three Days Gone
When two girls go missing in the Montana mountains, the unforgiving wilderness might not be the only threat to their safety. Alyssa Wyatt and her squad must find them in the dangerous woods, before time runs out...
Two missing girls. One powerful family. A killer watching them all.
When fifteen-year-old Brynn Hagen and her five-year-old sister Eveleigh vanish from their uncle’s home in the Montana mountains, the search for them becomes a race against time.
Because the girls weren’t reported missing for three days.
Detective Alyssa Wyatt of the Albuquerque PD and her partner, Cord Roberts, travel to Montana to assist the Bozeman PD, joining forces with FBI Special Agent Ryker Newlin.
But the deeper Alyssa digs, the more she realizes the Hagen family is hiding something. And their senator father seems more interested in protecting his reputation than finding his daughters.
As the team uncover decades of lies and secrets, it becomes clear someone is willing to kill to keep the past hidden.
Meanwhile, stranded in the unforgiving wilderness, Brynn is fighting to keep herself and Eveleigh alive, while being stalked by a ruthless killer.
With every hour, the odds of finding them alive grow smaller. And if Alyssa doesn’t uncover the truth in time, Brynn and Eveleigh may not survive long enough to be found.

This was a RIDE!! So many secrets, so much history … so many innocent victims. I was in tears by the end (don’t judge me 😂) something about corrupt politicians really makes my ass itch. I had fun trying to figure everything out — I was absolutely wrong about who was responsible 😬 another great read by Charly.
Thank you for this advanced finished copy. I don’t want this series to ever end. Every book and every case has kept me on the edge of my seat 👏🏽

Three Days Gone was my first book by Charly Cox, but it certainly won’t be my last. Although this is the seventh book in the Detective Alyssa Wyatt series, I had no difficulty becoming absorbed in the characters or the investigation—and I’ll now be going back to read the rest of the series as soon as possible.
When fifteen-year-old Brynn and her five-year-old sister Eveleigh disappear from their uncle’s home in the Montana mountains, the search is already at a devastating disadvantage: the girls have been missing for three days before anyone reports it. Detective Alyssa Wyatt and her partner, Cord Roberts, join local police and FBI Special Agent Ryker Newlin in a desperate race to find them.
The Montana wilderness provides a chilling and claustrophobic setting, creating the sense that danger could be concealed anywhere. The investigation grows increasingly disturbing as Alyssa uncovers secrets within the girls’ powerful family—and finds that protecting reputations may matter more to some people than bringing Brynn and Eveleigh home.
The scenes following the sisters’ fight for survival are particularly tense and emotional. Brynn’s determination to protect five-year-old Eveleigh gives the story real heart, while the knowledge that someone is stalking them through the wilderness makes every moment feel urgent. I was completely invested in their survival.
Fast-paced, atmospheric and genuinely difficult to put down, Three Days Gone combines a gripping police investigation with strong characters and an emotionally compelling race against time. Charly Cox has gained a new reader, and I cannot wait to discover everything I’ve missed in the previous Alyssa Wyatt books.

Three Days Gone is a thrilling read with lots of suspense. Wyatt and Roberts go to Montana to assist an FBI investigation into two missing girls whose father is a Senator. Right from the start the Detectives feel they are not being told everything and the Senator who is from a prominent family seems to want to control the way the investigation goes. What is the family hiding and who has taken the girls and why? The authors writing is very good and the story flows easily. The plot is believeable, the characters mostly likeable. I liked the story being told through different characters and could picture them in my mind when reading. The story races to a satisfying conclusion giving good closure.
I'd recommend this is you like solid police procedurals although if you're new to this author you really need to read this series in order to know the characters from the start.

Detective Alyssa Wyatt is back in another mysterious case that takes her out of New Mexico and to the vast landscapes of Montana to investigate 2 missing girls that went missing from their senator uncle's estate. Prominent family with a lot power and people holding their secrets out of fear, so who has an ax to grind? Why take the girls and who did this? The obvious suspect, never that simple. With the help of her partner Cord and the reappearance of FBI Special Agent Ryker, it is only a matter of time before a revenge plot unravels and everything that was done in the dark comes to the light!
I Really enjoyed this book as I have the series thus far, no matter the case, no matter the trauma or how dark, Alyssa Wyatt will solve the case!

This is book #7 in this crime thriller series-and my favorite so far 🔥
Three Days Gone grabbed me from the first page and never let go! It was a true page-turner that kept me wanting, “just one more chapter” (that of course turned into several).
The suspense, twists and pacing had me hooked all the way through, and the ending did not disappoint. Seven books in, and I’m still completely invested in this series.

Charly Cox has never disappointed me. Her new release was another outstanding read. I literally devoured this one just like her others.
I highly recommend Charly Cox if you enjoy psychological thriller. I would also recommend reading her books in order as she references different characters and cases that you will get to know, love and/or hate.

not my fave
I typically love this series but this one wasn’t my favorite- likely because the story typically revolves around Alyssa’s kids somehow and her family and this case took her elsewhere.
